Another Tale: Osborn

The word or concept of transmigration is somewhat common to some and completely unknown to others. For some people it could be an opportunity they would not pass up. One not so common person has that opportunity and ended up in a completely unknown Marvel universe, however, when he woke up, he was not in the body of one of the heroes he knew or even a random person. He transmigrated into the body of one of Spider-Man’s enemies, Norman Osborn the Green Goblin. Will he become a hero who fights for good or will he be a villain who seeks to conquer everything in his path, or will he walk in a fine line between the two, not a villain but no a hero either? His story in Marvel is just about to begin. ---------------------------------------------------------- English is not my mother tongue, nor do I have a mastery of its grammatical and syntactical rules, so some people who place great importance on those aspects may not find the story entirely enjoyable to read. I warn from the beginning so that there is no misunderstanding with that fact.

Norman woke up and saw that the sun's rays were just coming up, it was his first day at Osborn Manor after being put through Ducard's training.

Even without him here Norman would be sure to follow his training regimen, after all the skills he learned with Ducard required a lot of practice so they wouldn't get too rusty and it wasn't in his plans for that to happen.

First he would start with his warm up and then start with the true training if he hurried a bit he should be able to finish when breakfast was ready.

With that kind of thinking he started his day.

Breakfast was quiet with the Osborn talking to Harry, it seemed that the little boy still didn't know where he wanted to go so Norman himself gave him a list of places he thought would be fun for the kids.

Mary Jane had not yet arrived, due to Norman's appearance plus the fact that Harry started going to school it was decided that her services would only be needed in the afternoons, that way she could have a little more time for her time for herself.

Of course the pay would remain the same because it was good to leave a good impression on her plus she was wonderful at her job and a nice young lady, and it wasn't as if Norman was short of money.

After breakfast Norman took some time to escort Harry to his new school, he had read Bernard's report and was satisfied with the school he chose for his son, while you couldn't expect too much from a Kindergarten, in this case he would have a full pass to the best school in New York and Harry seemed happy to go to school, so it was certainly a good choice.

Just before the little boy got out of the car Norman spoke: "Harry" he called his son's attention: "I won't be able to pick you up on the way out, I have some work to do at the Corporation so Miss Watson and Bernard will come for you" he explained calmly.

The young Osborn only nodded, although he would have liked his father to come for him at the exit, he knew that the work was of the same importance, so he didn't throw a tantrum, for him it was enough that his father had brought him to school, Norman only smiled a little and with one hand he tousled his hair affectionately: "Have fun" he mentioned to the boy.

"Hmm" mentioned his son positively before getting out of the car, the Osborn stayed a few moments until he saw how Harry began to talk with children of his age while he entered through the school doors, once he could no longer see him he gave the order to the driver to take him to the Oscorp Corporation, he needed to start working.

His first impression of the Oscorp building, was that it was certainly big, it's not as if in his old world there were no buildings of that size, but the point was that seeing a building that was completely black and only had white on the Oscorp logo, certainly left a strong impression.

Without thinking too much about it Norman began to enter through the doors of his company, most of the people who saw him enter were surprised to see him, but quickly and almost fearfully began to look away.

Each one of the people he met on his way to his office did not dare to look him in the eyes in fact they did not even look at him, they were trying to go by unnoticed something he already expected after all according to the memories he got the old Norman was a terrible boss, so it was logical that no one wanted to dare to tempt his luck.

"I need all the activity reports from Oscorp since I went into a coma" said the Osborn when he saw his secretary as soon as he entered the floor where his office was located, most of the people had to go through his secretary years before they could see him: "Of course, Sir" she answered him and was the first person to look at him, without giving too much importance to that fact Norman entered his office.

It was not that he did not trust Bernard, but it was that he would not feel at peace until he had looked at the activities that Oscorp had carried out during the eight months he was in a coma and his sudden disappearance-recovery of seven months.

If he remembered correctly the secretary that the older Osborn had been a very capable woman and very loyal to him, however in none of his memories was there an answer for that loyalty, so he would keep his guard up against her.

Only 15 minutes was the time that his secretary took to carry out the indication that he had left her, the folders were delivered in order and all of them with a label that marked the month that the activities were done, after delivering them she turned around and nodded her head to Osborn before closing the door.

Just like that the reading of the Osborn began luckily for him, he had a high-speed reading ability, so it shouldn't take him to long to read all the documents that were there.

Honestly there wasn't much to say, mostly because most of the things were something that were within his expectations, to his luck most of the research that was going on in the company at the moment was relatively safe and there was no problem with it.

Of course, that didn't mean that the old Norman hadn't played dirty, in his memories he knew that he used methods like blackmail, corporate espionage and a couple of other minor crimes to make Oscorp what it was today, however the things were actually passable, and he had done a few himself in his old world, so he wouldn't judge the old Norman in this case.

Instead, he focused on two research projects that caught his full attention, mainly because he recognized them instantly.

The first of these was a research project that was intended to use the combined DNA of several species of reptiles to be able to reproduce in some way the ability to regenerate lost limbs in humans.

It was a project that had begun a few months before old Norman fell into a coma, but the former Osborn had demonstrated a great interest in such a project.

Currently, the research was at a dead point, the lack of resources had affected the ability of the researchers to continue with their investigation.

The principal investigator had requested several meetings with Norman since his awakening, but due to his absence it had not been possible, the name of the investigator was Dr. Curtis Connors.

It was impossible not to know about the person who in the 616 universe became one of Spider-Man's enemies and if things developed as they did in that universe it was very likely that he had a potential villain working for him.

Osborn made a mental note to visit Connors and have a chat about his research, why would he do that? Very simple that way he would prevent the birth of a potential villain, and he would get his hands on a serum that could be really useful if it was under control.

The next research that caught his attention was the one that would probably be responsible for giving Peter Parker his powers assuming that in this universe he would be Spider-Man.

The recreation of the SuperSoldier serum was research that was having the biggest investment than any other research in the company, at the moment the current formula was only theory, but they had applied for permission to use the formula in the future on animals and amongst all of them were the spiders.

It seemed to be that things would be like in the 1610 universe, but I could not be entirely sure, many things have changed, so it was better not to think that one thing would happen with total certainty. The only difference was that Oscorp had no association with S.H.I.E.L.D. and while the research was about the recreation of the SuperSoldier Serum there was no pact with any kind of outside organization.

Discovering that research brought another question to Norman, Lux mentioned it being an alternate Marvel universe, with that in mind there will be a possibility that the concepts of Spider Totems and The Web of Life and Destiny exist this universe.

If that turned out to be true he could be in big trouble, things were getting more and more complicated.

Norman stopped thinking about it, that kind of thing would be in the future, however he had to prepare himself in case Morlun or someone of his family existed, although his only objective was to hunt the Spider Totems, it is not bad to have a plan in case he had to face them.

When he finished his thought, the Osborn decided to pay a quick visit to Connors, first he needed to warn him of the hidden dangers his research could have, to his luck Norman really was a genius in this universe, so it wouldn't be hard to convince him.

A quick walk and he was on the floor where Dr. Connors' laboratory was located, the Osborn felt no need to report his arrival and with no hesitation entered the lab.

He had to admit that the lab was very well maintained and organized, which improved Norman's impression of Connors a bit.

His eyes went all over the lab and he stopped from time to time at the blackboards that had various letters and numbers on them, he could see how busy it was and it was obvious that the success of the research was really important to him, but considering his main motivation it was very simple to know why that was the case.

Soon he saw the figure of Connors who was using a microscope.

"Dr. Connors" called the Osborn and quickly he could see how Curtis seemed to enter a state of surprise and soon passed to something similar to terror as soon as he saw who was the person who called him.

"M... Mr. O.. Osborn" he said between breaths and Norman wondered how bad of a boss you must be to provoke that kind of reaction from your subordinates.

"My secretary informed me that you wanted a meeting with me, so I took the liberty of coming at this time, I hope you will excuse me for that fact" Norman began to speak: "So tell me Dr. Curtis, what do you want to talk to me about" he asked in a direct way.

Norman gave him a few seconds to calm down and Curtis was grateful for that, once he calmed down he adopted a professional attitude that earned a bit of Osborn's approval: "The serum is currently in a critical stage of research however due to the cuts in our current budget we have not been able to continue with it, so I wanted to ask for your reconsideration to change the budget destined to our lab" without any digression he mentioned it and Osborn really liked that he did not beat around the bush.

"I understand your concern Dr. but I also have mine" said the Osborn after Curtis finished speaking: "Be sure Mr. Osborn any kind of doubt that you have you can tell me and I will be sure to explain it to you" he mentioned with sincerity and seriousness in his voice.

With a green light the Osborn began to speak: "What you are trying right now is something magnificent, and it could certainly help a lot of people" he mentioned while he saw how Connor was looking at his amputated arm.

"But tell me, what are the potential risks? Nothing in your report mentions a possible risk and forgive me for my rudeness, but it is impossible for me to think that such a medical product does not have a risk" he explained and dropped his question with seriousness.

"Mr. Osborn, at the moment the stage of the research is too early to know the risks, if I had a way to test the sample I could know, but" he began to say sincerely, but was soon interrupted.

"No, it's not too early, what you are planning to do is basically a cocktail of various reptilian DNAs" the Osborn began to say while Curtis kept quiet listening to his tone of voice: "And you are telling me that you can't even think about the possibility of something going wrong" he continued.

"Tell me Dr., have you thought about the possibility that regeneration is not the only thing you can bring, reptiles not only have that capacity, what about the instincts and aggressiveness of the species you used? Have you even thought about the possibility that the serum could end up mutating the DNA in such a way that the person ends up being more reptilian than human" he knew that what he was saying could sound idiotic and like science fiction, but even though it was a small possibility he had to make Curtis see the mistake he had made in several of his versions.

Before Connors could defend himself, Norman heard the laboratory door open and immediately looked towards it.

The arrival was of a young woman probably in her early twenties, her long blonde hair similar to the color gold fell to below her shoulders, a black headband was in her hair, her eyes were blue which reminded Norman the color of the sky, her clothing consisted of a black blouse with a turtleneck, a thin green coat covered her from the cool air of the day and to finish her lower body was covered by a plain purple skirt that reached a little below her knees, but still gave a view of her lovely legs.

'I know you' was what the Osborn thought when he saw the young woman.

2379 in this chapter.

I just want to say that the story for many may or will be slow, but well I like to take a little time in the intractions of the characters.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
