64. Adventure Guild

Three figures emerged out of nowhere outside the city. Those three figures are two men and a woman. The girl has long black hair wearing a gothic dress. Meanwhile, one of the two boys had a piercing in each ear, shoulder-length black hair tied in a small ponytail, and was dressed casually. The other boy wore a straw hat, a red sleeveless shirt, and shorts. Of course, they were Kuroneko, Izumi, and Luffy.

"Wow, another world! I was still on my ship a moment ago, but suddenly arrived here." Luffy looked around curiously as he never knew of the existence of another world until Izumi told him.

"Hehehe, it's kinda interesting in this world. What should I say, cliché? Just like, you know, in another world, joining an adventure guild, and becoming a hero?" Kuroneko's eyes shone brightly while expecting a clichéd development in this world.

"Anime references?" Izumi asked.

"No. But, a novel reference."

"What is a cliché development?" Luffy didn't understand what Kuroneko was saying so he asked. Kuroneko replied.

"It's something that happens a lot in stories anyway. You don't have to take it seriously!"

"Oh." Luffy nodded.

But, Izumi who looked at Luffy thought.

"He probably still doesn't understand."

When Izumi looked around, he immediately recognized where they were. He turned to the two people beside him.

"That's Axel town. Let's go!" Izumi walked in first while taking out an ordinary sword from the storage space and carrying it on his back.

"Oooooooo." Both Luffy and Kuroneko raised their fists at the same time, they were excited after arriving in the fantasy world.

Izumi arrived in front of a large building that was none other than the adventure guild building. He went inside followed by Luffy and Kuroneko. All the eyes of the adventurers within the guild were on the three of them who had just entered the guild. Izumi looked around and found Kazuma who was with his party.

"Kazuma, Kazuma, the three of them seem to be looking at us. Uh, they came here!! Do you have a debt with them?" The blue-haired girl talked with Kazuma when she saw the newcomers. That girl was Aqua, a Goddess who was forcibly brought by Kazuma into this world.

Aqua is a goddess whose beauty exceeds that of the idols shown on TV, even her glamour surpasses that of humans. She has long blue hair that looks graceful and her blue eyes look charming. Too bad, that girl's obnoxious behavior kept her off the Waifu Material list.

"Shut up useless goddess! I'm not like you who have debts everywhere that I can't help but stay in the stables!" Kazuma chopped her head in annoyance.

Aqua held her head, then turned to the lolita girl who was wearing a black robe.

"Uuu… Megumin, look! Kazuma is so mean to me! Even though he is just HikiNEET." She pointed at Kazuma.

Kazuma pinched Aqua's cheeks.

"Don't call me HikiNEET, useless Goddess!!"

"Sthawp, sthawp, sthawp! I'm sowry!"

The lolita girl called Megumin was also slightly curious, so she asked.

"But, Kazuma. It seems they know you. Do you know them?"

Megumin is an arch wizard, a girl in a classic wizard outfit with a black robe, dark boots, a pointed hat, and a wand. Her face is so smooth like a porcelain doll. She is a lolita girl who looks to be around 12 or 13 years old with red eyes and wears an eye patch that covers one eye.

Before Kazuma could reply, Izumi, Kuroneko, and Luffy were already in front of him. Then, he heard Kuroneko say.

"Hehe, what a surprise that Kazuma has harem members." Kuroneko knew the truth but still said it to mock him.

"What the fuck! Who wants to have harem members like these screw loose and crazy girls!!?" Kazuma strongly denied what Kuroneko said.

"Ahhh, that's a harsh statement Kazuma." A sexy blonde-haired girl let out a heavy breath with a blush on her face. She was none other than the perverted girl, Darkness.

Izumi and Kuroneko took a step back after seeing her state.

She was Darkness, a female knight. She gave off the vibe of cool beauty at the first sight. Her height was slightly taller than Izumi who should have been over 170 cm. She was quite beautiful with blonde hair and blue eyes wearing solid metal armor all over her body. Even though she's quite a pervert.

"That's my line, HikiNEET!" Aqua pointed at Izumi. "Are you blind? How could a pure and holy goddess like me be a member of his harem? He's just a useless NEET." Aqua talked highly of herself.

"Then, you can defeat the demon lord alone! I will join their party because they are more promising than my current party members." Kazuma walked toward Izumi, ignoring his own party members.

But then, Aqua grabbed Kazuma's jersey.

"K-Kazuma-san. You're kidding, right?" She asked with a stutter.

"Do you think so?"

Instantly, his words surprised not only Aqua, but Megumin and Darkness as well.

Aqua immediately grabbed Kazuma's hand so tightly that he couldn't let go. He even felt a little pain because Aqua's strength surpassed him.

"Kazuma-sama, please don't leave me alone! What should I do with my debt without you!???"

Kazuma tried to get his hand off Aqua while yelling.

"You think I'm a walking ATM where you can take your money at will? Take care of your debt yourself!"

Luffy who saw what Aqua was doing couldn't help but ask.

"Hey, what are you playing? Can I play along?"

Izumi and Kuroneko twitched their cheeks. The two of them faced each other. Kuroneko raised her eyebrows as if to ask "Why is Kazuma's life still pathetic despite joining the chat group?" Then Izumi shook his head as if to answer "Who knows" to Kuroneko.

It seemed like Izumi couldn't rely on Kazuma to lend him money.

"Luffy, let's register first!" Izumi called out to Luffy with a waving gesture.

Seeing Izumi walking to the counter, Luffy followed behind him.

Meanwhile.

The three girls in Kazuma's party looked at each other. They were wondering when did Kazuma have acquaintances like Izumi. Especially Aqua who looked puzzled after she recognized Izumi and Kuroneko's facial features.

"Hey hey, Kazuma, who are those three? Two of them seem Japanese." Aqua asked curiously.

"I don't know, they didn't tell me. Maybe you sent them here but you forgot, you're useless anyway." Kazuma just shrugged his shoulders.

Aqua immediately grabbed his collar with an annoyed look on her face.

"What did you say, HikiNEET?"

Seeing Aqua who grabbed his collar, he looked at Aqua for a moment. Then…

"Goodbye. I will join his party."

"I'm sorry, Kazuma-sama!"

Meanwhile.

The receptionist lady explained everything about the adventure guild. Starting from quests, experience points, leveling, and skills.

The lady handed one card each to the three of them. The size of the card is almost the same as a driving license and it's like an identity card in Izumi's world, only more magical.

Luffy was the first to touch the card. The card started to glow brightly, then Luffy's stats appeared on the card. The cards that Izumi and Kuroneko touched one by one also started to shine brightly and their stats appeared on the cards they each held.

The receptionist lady asked Luffy to hand the card to her. Then she reads the data on the card.

"Alright, you're Monkey D. Luffy, right? Huh? What is this? Besides magic which is pit bottom, and Intelligence is below average, the rest of the stats exceeds the average. Especially your strength and luck stats. It's amazing." The receptionist lady was surprised looking at his stats. She added. "You can choose a lot of jobs except magician."

Luffy didn't understand too well everything the lady said. But hearing he couldn't become a magician, he was dejected.

Even so, everyone in the guild who heard the receptionist lady was shocked. Soon, they started crowding the reception desk to take a look at the three newcomers.

"Then can I become a ninja?" Luffy asked.

The receptionist lady just gaped in response to Luffy's strange question.

"Well Luffy, don't you want to be the Pirate King? Why bother to become a ninja?" Kuroneko responded to Luffy's question after seeing that the receptionist lady didn't know how to respond.

"I can be a ninja and be the Pirate King at the same time." Luffy declared confidently.

Izumi immediately patted Luffy's shoulder.

"I'll teach you. But this will take a little time. And how you can master it later, it's up to you, Luffy."

Then he glanced at Kuroneko. Kuroneko nodded and took a step forward.

"Now, it's time for the Queen of Nightmare to show her greatness to this mortal world!" Kuroneko said with her usual chuunibyou line.

"Kuroneko? Although almost all your stats are slightly above average, only your magic power is above the average." Then, she explained that Kuroneko could become an arch wizard, but she refused because she had a divine sword that could use wind and lightning elements. Kuroneko was a bit dejected since her stats weren't high enough like Luffy. However, it should be underlined that those stats were her raw stats without using divine sword power.

The guild members were fussing over the appearance of two newcomers who had above-average stats. The guild members glanced at Izumi, wondering if his strength was the same as the two of them or far exceeded expectations.

Izumi touched the card, and…

"What with these stats? Except for luck which is only slightly above average, all of the stats are exceedingly high. Who in the world are you three?" The receptionist lady was dumbfounded, the three of them were too powerful if looked at their stats. The guild was in an uproar too.

Kuroneko grinned from ear to ear. "This is it, the clichéd starting point of the Legendary Hero!!!"

"Hero, huh? How about you, Luffy? Do you want to be a hero?" Izumi asked. But, Luffy answered it with a face full of reluctance.

"Nope."

"I thought so."

Several adventurers in the guild asked why Luffy didn't want to be a hero. Then Luffy answered.

"Being a hero means that he has to share meat with other people. That doesn't apply to me because I don't want to share my meat with other people."

Everyone was speechless. They didn't know how to respond to Luffy's words.
