42. Leaving Logue Town

Izumi, who defeated all the marines in one fell swoop, felt that what he did was enough. "The Marines always uphold justice!"

"Is that so? So, what's on your mind is, Marines are righteous, Pirates are evil. Isn't it? Hahaha. It's so funny." Izumi laughed for a moment. Then, he raised his index finger upward. "Those who stand at the top can determine what is right and what is wrong. Do you know why? They have strength and power. If you are too weak, how can you talk about upholding justice? At least your captain, Smoker, seems to agree with what I'm saying. Isn't that right?" Izumi suddenly turned to Smoker who had woken up. However, Smoker just stared at Izumi with a sharp look.

Izumi stood up and started walking away. However, Smoker stopped him so he could ask Izumi.

"Who are you exactly? What is your purpose? Why didn't you kill us?"

Actually, they were also quite confused by Izumi's behavior who initially defeated the marines, then protected them afterward. However, most of the pirates in front of Izumi were blind. At the same time, screams could be heard one after another. The pirates who wanted to attack Izumi started falling one by one with blood splattering from their bodies or necks. Even some of their heads were chopped off.

Izumi had never committed a massacre. So he felt something churn in his throat as if he was going to throw up after killing them all. Even so, he held it in and tried not to show it from his expression.

The pirates who didn't join the attack looked at Izumi in horror. As soon as they saw his sharp gaze, they immediately ran away.

After they all disappeared from Izumi's sight, he also walked away while taking a key from his storage space and throwing it at Smoker. It was the key to unlocking the handcuff.

Then, he paused to state his purpose to Smoker.

"Oh right. The world is in a state of chaos not only because of pirates, but because the world governments are also using their power as if they want to conquer the world. I think reforming this world will be interesting. Don't you think so, Captain Smoker?"

Without waiting for Smoker's response, he walked away with a chuckle.

"Look, there's a boat that doesn't use a sail but is so fast. The shape of the boat also looks like a motorcycle." Usopp pointed in a certain direction.
