188. Take Them Down In Few Seconds

Outside the great walls of Konohagakure.

Three giant snakes squirmed toward the great walls, causing the ninjas guarding there to feel scared since they didn't have the ability to stop them.

Suddenly, a light shone from the ground that formed a large circle, then a tree branch sprouted from the ground which grew large instantly and became a giant tree trunk. Sharp thorns formed from the giant tree's trunk and some of its branches wriggled like snakes. The tree stretched itself and was about to attack the three giant snakes.

The three giant snakes felt a tremor and tried to avoid a large tree trunk that suddenly appeared on the ground. Unfortunately, the giant tree trunk was not just an ordinary tree trunk. It was a plant created through magic. It was Warrod's magic. Not only strong, but the tree trunk was also durable.

Controlled by magic, the giant tree trunk continued to grow. One by one, the three giant snakes were caught by the giant tree trunk controlled by Warrod.

They wanted to free themselves from the entanglement of the giant tree trunk. However, the thorns on the tree trunk along with the sharp branches pierced the scales of the giant snakes. The hard scales of the snakes were pierced through as if they pierced through a sponge.

His title as a Saint Wizard wasn't for nothing. Although he was already too old, his strength was no joking matter.

The snakes squirmed to free themselves from the pain, but the coils of the giant tree trunk that Warrod had created couldn't be untied or destroyed easily.

The ninjas who were on top of the great wall were stunned by the appearance of a giant tree trunk that suddenly appeared and stopped the movement of the giant snakes.

"What is that?"

"Is it Mokuton?"

"Doesn't seem like it."

As they were talking about something that stopped the giant snake from moving, suddenly...

At a place a bit far from the giant snakes, there were several ear-splitting explosions.

"What was that?"

"An attack from another direction?"

One of the ninjas pointed to the sky. They saw a metallic armor that someone was wearing, and she was floating in the sky.

"Hehehe, such a nice explosion." The girl under the metallic armor giggled. She held a huge metallic rifle. A little smoke was vividly seen at the tip of the barrel. It was obvious that she had just launched the attack that caused an explosion.

It was Tabane who was piloting her own IS. Her expression looked so happy after killing the Otogakure and Sunagakure's ninjas. Just like a child getting a new toy.

There were dozens of ninjas around the site of the explosion. After the attack, the number was no more than half of the initial number.

There was still smoke at the site of the explosion, so it was unknown whether those who were hit by the explosion still survived or not.

Tabane checked using her device.

A small hologram screen appeared before her left eye. The hologram screen was used to scan the surroundings for a fraction of a second.

There were still some survivors. So, Tabane launched another photon blast through her huge rifle. The light energy could be seen gathered on the tip of the barrel while she was actually compressing a nearby space. Then, Tabane pulled the trigger for the second time.

*Boom*

The huge explosion stifled everyone's ears.

"Nobody seems to have survived. I thought someone would use a Jutsu, apparently, they are weak enough as they have no time to use it." Tabane murmured in a low voice.

She glanced at the ninja from Otogakure and Sunagakure who were some distance away from her first and second attacks.

She immediately greeted them.

"Hello hello, everyone's idol has arrived. How was my welcome? Interesting right? Right? Why are you silent? Say something please!"

Her cheerful voice sounded clear to the ears of the ninjas from Otogakure and Sunagakure. Even the Konohagakure's ninjas who were standing on top of the great walls heard it clearly as if Tabane was using an amplifier.

The ninjas from Otogakure and Sunagakure were silent and wary of Tabane who seemed to be wearing strange metallic armor that could make her fly into the sky. In addition, Tabane's sudden attack earlier was so fast and powerful that they couldn't even react at all.

"Can't say anything? Well, that's a shame. I wanted to play around with you guys first before finishing you off." Tabane's words were so dangerous that those ninjas got into formation even though their faces were pale and sweat was dripping from all over their bodies.

When Tabane saw their faces, she spontaneously said something.

"Eh, don't tell me you're scared? Hehehe. Then I'll give you two options. First, you guys go forward and get slaughtered. Second, run as far as possible to save yourself. I'll shoot one or two times like this." Tabane prepared her rifle once again. Not just that, spherical devices floated above each of her shoulders and formed a barrel by compressing nearby space just like her rifle. Then, each of them shot out a linear-trajectory shockwave as an invisible projectile, creating destructive effects.

The power of destruction was strong enough to make those ninjas in the surroundings tremble in fear.

Tabane didn't aim at those ninjas. She only threatened them by shooting near their position.

Tabane landed with her IS and said to them.

"And… I'm counting down for 10 seconds, if you care for your life, hehehe, you can run away like a bitch right now!" While extending her hand forward, Tabane began to count.

Almost all of them ran away, and the few who were brave enough forced themselves to fight back by attacking Tabane together. Some of them started using Illusionary Jutsu to trick Tabane's eyes. However, Tabane wouldn't be regarded as an ultimate human if she couldn't handle things that only fooled her eyes.

A hologram in her left eye had detected the movement of the enemy even though they were so fast. Moreover, the cells in Tabane's body had also been modified by herself which made her speed, strength, endurance, and agility increase drastically. This allowed her to make the best use of her fighting skills.

A katana that was over 2 meters long suddenly appeared in Tabane's hand. She swiftly moved her IS and appeared behind them which made them feel the horror of the IS' speed.

The katana that took the form of an energy blade slashes toward them one by one. With just one hit, one down. Tabane wielded her energy sword by moving at a speed of Mach 1. And with that speed, none of those ninjas could see Tabane's movements.

In just under 10 seconds, all the ninjas who desperately attacked Tabane had fallen to the ground lifelessly.

"Gulp... what did I just see?"

"That was too quick."

"Too strong, is she at the Kage level?"

The Konohagakure's ninjas who were on top of the great walls were astonished by Tabane's appearance who wiped out the enemy in just a few seconds. And at that very moment, they heard a voice.

"Gear Second."

It was a boy wearing a straw hat, Luffy. Luffy uses his feet as a pump to increase blood flow throughout his body. His entire skin turns slightly pink and shiny from the increased blood flow.

"Gomu Gomu no Jet Rocket."

Luffy grabbed something with outstretched arms, he instantly propelled himself toward the giant snakes with blinding speed. It didn't take long before Luffy's body crashed into one of the giant snakes.

"Gomu Gomu no Jet Rifle."

Then, Luffy twisted his arm as he stretched it behind him, and hit the giant snake in front of him.

*Wham*

*Rumble*

The power blow was so powerful especially after Luffy used the Gear Second. The hard scales of the giant snake were unable to withstand Luffy's blow at all, and as a result, the scales were crushed.

There were still two giant snakes left, they were both tied to the tree that Warrod created. They couldn't move. And it was a good time for Luffy to act. Since those snakes were side by side, this would make it easier for Luffy to do things at the same time.

"Gomu Gomu no Jet Gatling."

Luffy stood still, bent forward, and moved his arms upward at a speed no longer visible, leaving only the jet stream in place, much like the Jet Pistol look.

The punches landed swiftly, and after a volley, they seemed to connect simultaneously. Circles of air burst from the punches surrounding Luffy, resembling many of the barrels of an actual Gatling gun.

Because they could not move, the two giant snakes had to accept strong blows that could knock one of them down with a single blow.

All the giant snakes fell. Luffy's body returned to normal while slightly out of breath even though he only used Gear Second for a short time. And at the same time, Tabane came while saying.

"Eh, I thought I'd jump into action again and gonna try out my new weapon."
