176. The Snow Girl With Her Snow

There was a slight conflict between Naruto and Neji after Neji and Hinata's fight ended, the conflict ended after Naruto vowed to avenge Hinata's cruel defeat. Neji found his vows ridiculous, so he didn't have to think about it. The only thing on his mind was how to defeat Luffy who seemed ineffective with his Taijutsu. And the other one was Izumi who had incredible sword art at his disposal.

The next match was Gaara vs Lee.

Even though Lee had been defeated by Luffy previously in a Taijutsu battle, he was still enthusiastic about facing an opponent with an unknown ability.

At the very beginning of their fight, the fight seemed even. Because Lee was having a bit of trouble breaking through the sand as if protecting Gaara from being attacked, Lee let go of the weights that were on his body.

The fight continued with Lee dominating the fight, until the moment when Lee used the Eight Gates Taijutsu. Lee's speed increased drastically as well as his strength. This made Gaara late to respond to Lee's speed. As a result, the punches that Lee launched from different directions always hit Gaara.

Feeling not enough to defeat Gaara, Lee used his forbidden technique to take him down.

Gaara was slammed to the ground. Lee took a heavy breath, he seemed almost run out of energy after releasing the Eight Gates and the technique he used earlier.

However, when he saw Gaara's body that was knocked to the ground, it turned into sand.

"How is that possible?"

This was a real shock to Lee because what he slammed to the ground was Gaara's sand clone.

"You've done it to me! I'll kill you!"

Everyone could hear a chilling voice with killing intent. That was Gaara's voice.

On the other hand, Izumi started to comment.

"Well, he's dead for sure."

"He shouldn't recklessly use that technique." Hiiro also added.

Not yet perfect at using the Eight Gates technique, he shouldn't be using it right now, moreover his life wasn't in danger. Precisely by using that technique, his life is in danger right now.

Izumi held his chin while saying.

"I feel that the Eight Gates technique is similar to Kaio-ken."

"So, which one is stronger?" Kazuma asked.

Izumi shook his head.

"I can't say. The Dragon Ball world is too strong to compare."

He couldn't compare because the difference in strength between characters in the Dragon Ball world and other worlds was too great. Guy walked toward Izumi and his group and asked.

"Can you please heal him? I'll give you guys a treat later." Guy hints at them to heal Lee.

Guy knows that Izumi and Guy's team are in conflict after hearing Tenten's story. Even so, he hoped that Hiiro, who had healed Hinata, would also be willing to heal Lee.

Izumi and Hiiro looked at each other, then Izumi approached as he whispered something.

After that, Hiiro said,

"I can heal him, but I can't heal him completely. The wound is too serious and requires a professional to completely heal him. Otherwise, if something happens to him, don't blame me."

Based on the story in canon, Lee's injuries were quite severe. There were many spinal fragments scattered near the nerves. Hiiro simply healed the broken bones and put them back together. However, spinal fragments, bone fragments, and fractures of the bones were still there.

Izumi asked Hiiro not to heal him completely. Lee needed a lesson. He should know how much the limit his body could handle. What's more, this could make him learn not to underestimate other people.

Sometime after that, Izumi saw a man with long straight hair who was watching from the end wrinkling his forehead.

Izumi realized that this person had just arrived, his aura was similar to Orochimaru's.

Izumi looked at the person, and that person also looked at Izumi at the same time.

"This guy is coming." Izumi smirked. He realized that the man was Orochimaru in disguise. It was quite surprising because Orochimaru's disguise could fool the others.

Orochimaru looked at Izumi's moving mouth, as if to say.

"You came? Do you wanna fight me again? How about you come down here? Scared? Hehehe. Fucking Pussy!" Then he gestured with his middle finger.

Orochimaru gritted his teeth while holding back his anger. He felt that if he stayed here, he would lose control and his plan would fail.

Orochimaru thought that the people from Kaiyougakure village seemed clueless about his plan, but just in case, he needed someone to know what their real purpose came to Konohagakure.

Izumi himself felt that there was nothing to worry about if the fight against Orochimaru broke out here. Since Warrod was here, Izumi was sure that he would protect everyone. On the other hand, there were still Rori and Hiruzen.

Orochimaru immediately left, which made Izumi disappointed.

"Tsk."

Hearing Izumi clicked his tongue, the others asked. But Izumi said it was nothing even though they understood very well that Izumi was hiding something.

The next match was Naruto vs Kiba, which Naruto won by using a pretty impressive move to trick Kiba.

That way, all participants under Kurenai's tutelage failed the third test.

The eighth match was between Sakura and Ino.

Although their fight was a bit boring, their fight was quite fierce. Their fight ended in a draw with a double knockout and both did not pass for the next round after discussing with the Hokage.

The ninth match was Yuki Onna vs Tenten.

Tenten already understood that each participant from Kaiyougakure village was so strong. And, this time Tenten started it seriously.

"Bakuryuugeki."

Tenten opened one of her scrolls and released a large flaming dragon that rushed toward Yuki Onna.

Yuki Onna saw the attack heading toward her without showing any expression. Suddenly her hands moved at the same time with some gestures on her fingers.

*boom*

The explosion caused by the impact created quite a thick mist due to the collision between Tenten's attacks which had the element of fire, while Yuki-Onna made a wall of ice to hold the attack.

Then, Yuki Onna moved her hands again. The mist that was controlled by her suddenly created a cold domain surrounding them.

Everyone looking at the battle was amazed.

"That—"

"There's no mistake."

"It's Kekkei Genkai."

They whispered to each other. Even Hiruzen couldn't help but feel amazed.

"Ahhh. It's similar to Haku's technique." Naruto exclaimed. Naruto still remembered his first mission when he met someone called Haku. That person also mastered Kekkei Genkai, a combination of water and wind elements, which is ice.

Meanwhile, Tenten clenched her teeth. Never did she think that Yuki Onna was just as talented as the others from Kaiyougakure.

Izumi observed the domain created by Yuki Onna. He let out a smile.

"Not bad. It is somehow similar to the rage state of my sword art. Though, hers seems weaker."

The cold domain created by Yuki Onna was covered by mist. Everyone couldn't see clearly what happened inside. Although vague, they could see Tenten's shadow. But, Yuki Onna was nowhere to be seen since the color of her kimono was somehow similar to the mist.

Inside the domain, Tenten placed two scrolls on either side.

"Soushouryuu."

Next, she formed hand seals that made the scrolls rise and spin around each other which were enveloped in smoke-shaped like a dragon.

When the smoke dispersed, Tenten jumped in between the scrolls and started to unseal and threw weapons randomly since she could see clearly where Yuki Onna was. But then…

"Snowstorm."

Yuki Onna turned the mist into the snow and created a storm. And Tenten's movement instantly slowed down.
