Becoming OP./Before?

That was really scary. Looks like system was right. I didn't die, huh?

It really has been ten years? Honestly, it felt more than that. The creepy feeling of worms crawling under my skin... It's like I can still feel it.

Oh wait! I can really feel it. It's still here.

I can't simply let them be or they will destroy my body again. 

"Activate equivalent exchange and inequality authority +20%. Exchange harmful crest worms for perfected magical crest."

Soon after I commanded, I felt my body changing from within. But at this moment, I got an idea.

"Exchange crest worms and tohsaka crest for unique connection with swirl of the root. Inequality authority +20% activated."

Suddenly, my body felt more relaxed then ever. My magical crests had disappeared but mana was flowing much easier than before.

"This is the connection to root?" I spoke to myself.

"It's great!!"

(A/n : I want MC to be extremely OP.)

There were a bit changes in my status. First of all, equivalent exchange got unlocked. Connection to root was added as a unique skill. I don't know how but I got five true magics but it's great if it's free.

I have no idea what sixth magic is...

Inequality authority changed from  20% to 20.5%.

Kendo (beginner) turned into sword (max). Maybe because of saber class sword skills.

I also got absorption magic (max) from comprehending matou family bloodline.

Looks like that's all I was able to do in last ten years. Quite a waste but it was expected.

My name and age are still not visible showing that the system is still flawed.

'What does death mean to me?'

A thought came to my mind all of the sudden. Almost as if someone spoke to me with telepathy.

"Death?" 

I was confused nevertheless I did answer the question.

"Death, according to me, is a absolute constant. Everything, whether, with or without life, would experience death. Even atoms can die. Whether something exists or not, it can die as long as it can be determined. So death according to me is an absolute constant that is true on every thing that can be determined."

After I said this, my eyes burned for a little. I recieved a notification from system.

-ding!

[Congratulations on obtaining "mystic eyes of death perception".]

"Mystic eyes of death perception? What is..."

Before I finished speaking, I suddenly started seeing many lines and dots in my field of vision.

"Huh? W-what the hell is this?!" 

Just then, system screen popped up in front of me.

- Death lines : tracing along these lines would result in absolute death of the determined thing without any effort.

- Death points : touching on these points will result in absolute destruction of determined thing without much effort.

- Vision of death (unique) : Allows touching those points without direct contact with points. Mana is consumed. 

- Vision of dead (unique) : Allows seeing dead, death energy, and time of death of a determined thing.]

Hmm...

Even the system had these lines and points. 

There was a small metal cup beside me with many lines and points. I tried to test this ability on it.

I smoothly traced on one of the line. The cup got cleanly split in half, but that was not all. I can feel the death energy on the cup. The part that has been cut was not simply cut. The atoms in that place were completely removed from existence. Even putting the parts of cup won't recover it, instead it would result in more pieces like this. The "soul" energy of this body was also completely dissipated instead of going back to akasha.

I see... It quite a strong ability.

'Wait... Although incomplete, I did get five true magic. So "that" might actually be possible?' I thought to myself.

'But if it's incomplete, there might be some many problems with it.'

'Whatever! Let's do it!'

"Second magic, activate. Fifth magic, activate."

Second magic's domain is operation of parallel worlds and timelines, while fifth magic's domain in unknown but it possess power related to time manipulation and 'cause and effect' manipulation.

Since they are incomplete, I am unable to perform true time travel but using two true magic would work close to real time travel right?

-Boom!!

On a random mountain, a huge blast gathered attention. It was still day so such a blast attracted attention from all over the area.

"Did I succeed?" I was barely able to complete the sentence before suddenly I felt my soul and body being ripped apart and before I was able to do anything, I felt my soul collide and everything calmed down. 

I checked my body and noticed that I was back into my body of 5-6 years old.

"Hmm... So it wasn't a proper success. Instead of being able to travel through time and avoid cause and effect, I did time reversal with some cause and effect applied on my body and soul. My future body is merged with my current body and soul."

"Status."

"Hmm... My status didn't change at all. Looks like my memories and status avoided the cause and effect."

While I was busy checking my situation, I didn't notice the old man getting frustrated in front of me.

"What?! Where did crest worms disappear to?! How did this happen?!"

"Can you shut up for a little?" I said while subconsciously using absorption magic to drain all the magic of whomever was disturbing me.

"What?! Matou family magic?"

"Ahh!! I told you to shut up didn't I?!"

With anger, I looked to towards the screaming person.

"Oh? Zouken?"
