Chapter 70: Marriage

In the Devine Western Continent Imperial capital crowds of people gathered from all over. The lively atmosphere showed how prosperous the continent had become under Veronica's rule.

Imperial Soldiers ran back and forth as they prepared for the wedding of their Queen.

In the thrown room Diana could be seen reporting to Veronica.

"Your Highness the preparations for the wedding are complete. The citizens have already gathered. If your majesty could please follow me to the fitting room to put on your wedding dress" Diana said with a smile on her face.

She knew how much Veronica missed Kareem during the time they were separated. From time to time Veronica could be seen smiling a site that was never possible until Kareem returned.

Getting up from her throne. Veronica descended and started walking beside Diana.

"Where is my husband right now" she asked curiously.

"The Pathraich is currently putting on his wedding suit in a separate part of the palace. In a few moments he should be heading out to the alter to wait for your arrival" Diana said in one go.

" That's good," Veroncia said smiling.

At the altar Kareem could be seen standing he was dressed in a navy blue suit. In front of him was a countless row of people. As the whole kingdom had gathered for this day. Throughout the kingdom, the wedding was being broadcasted as there were millions of citizens and simply not enough space to accommodate them all.

Looking in front of him Kareem waited patiently with a smile on his face. As he admired the scenery. There were trees everywhere and white flowers hanging down everywhere. Remiscent of the twilight wedding. As he knew Veronica loved that wedding scene he tried his best to recreate it.

Before long he could see Veronica walking out in a long white wedding dress that was dragging across the floor. She looked as beautiful as could be. For today she had taken up the appearance of her past life. With long curly brown hair and even deeper brown eyes. Her face was delicate and flawless. Her lips were light pink. With a perfectly slim body which suited her perfectly. Beside her was Diana with a full black tuxedo. Escorting her forward.

See this Kareem was surprised as he never thought to do this. He transformed his appearance as well into that of his old life. The approaching Veronica smiled at him and his smile grew even breather in response.

The crowd turned focusing their attention on Veronica. All smiling in her direction. If this was her old life before she transmigrated she would have been nervous with so many eyes on her.

Arriving at the altar Diana moved aside as Veronica stepped in front of Kareem. He took her hand and helped her up beside him. They both stared into each other's eyes.

Kareem couldn't hold himself back and said "You look absolutely beautiful. I didn't know someone could be this flawless".

"Flawless is a word meant to describe you. You are not just handsome. Down to your very soul. You are beautiful in every way my love" Veronica said in response.

Both Orochi and Kareem were left speechless by her words.

The Orochi who was standing there to conduct the wedding couldn't help but think 'they truly are in love'.

Nodding at The Orochi. Kareem signaled him to begin. With a raise of his hand music started playing in the background.

"Ahem. Ladies and gentlemen of the continent. We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Her Majesty Veronica Valentine and our Patriarch Kareem Valentine. Now please repeat after me" The Orochi kept speaking with them repeating after him.

" I Kareem Valentine take you Veronica Valentine to have and to hold"

"For better are for worse," Veronica said.

"For richer are for poor" Kareem continued.

"In sickness and in health," Veronica said staring into his eyes.

"To Cherish"

"With all the love in my heart," Kareem and Veronica both said, "I do".

"You may kiss the bride," The Orochi said.

They both kissed each other for what seemed like a long time. With the crowd clapping and cheering in the background.

Doryu and Ankoji along with the entire kingdom and members of The Multiverse Exploding Fraction all shouted "Congratulations Your Highness and patriarch"

Kareem and Veronica both smiled.

Stepping Forward Kareem addressed the crowd " Thank you everyone for coming out today in celebration of our wedding. Since this a joyous occasion let's party" saying that he snapped his fingers and fire workers started exploding in the sky.

In those fireworks were images of Kareem and Veronica from all their time spent together. Up until this point. Finishing off with the words "I Love You, Veronica"
