Unraveling Truth
Meanwhile Aruma smelled and tried to sense the origin of sound. Aruma kneeled and kept his left ear on the ground. He stood up and looked around.
" That's weird " sais Aruma as he patted his pants.
" Demons and no smell ? " he added
" Varmi...This is something new " said Aruma
" Indeed , Maybe it's closer to Midnight " said Varmi
" Today...There will be New moon " he added.
" I hear something " said Aruma
He heard loud footsteps , coming in his direction. Aruma looked around and stood in a fighting stance.
" Aruma sensei?? " said Ryo
" It's you guys...What happened to looking for Rhy and Tum ? " asked Aruma
" We?? I thought you were going to find them as well ? " asked Jetchi
" Wait , didn't you guys went in North direction? And if I went to the South direction...How did we meet ? " questioned Aruma.
Aruma took a deep breath and sniffed his surrounding. His Olfactory senses were so high that he could actually distinguish between Salt and Sugar even without tasting. He can smell other emotion spectrum , like Fear , Joy and Sorrow. Aruma closed his eyes and jumped in the air as he looked around.
" We are trapped here " said Aruma as he landed.
" Trapped ?? " asked Hiro
" Yes , the centipede was merely a distraction. They turned this place into a fucking maze. No matter where we go , we will reach the pyre itself. Those who will enter this , will be stuck in this loop forever until and unless the demon isn't kill " said Aruma
Jetchi and Ryo looked at each other face as they gulped. Kazuki looked around for clues on how to escape the maze. Hiro , who was looking at direction of the hall , sighed as he remembered Hiroshi.
" Don't worry about Hiroshi , He'll do fine " said Aruma
" Thanks " said Hiro
" You know when you are not drunk , you are actually a nice guy " Hiro added
" Don't push it " said Aruma as he snapped his fingers.
" You guys can stay here or follow me , We need to look for escape routes and most importantly Rhy and Tum " said Aruma
" Today is new moon , and it's in one and a half hour. Trust me , if you wanna save lives we need to do it quick " he added
" Wait , New Moon ? " asked Kazuki
" In astronomy, the new moon is the first lunar phase, when the Moon and Sun have the same ecliptic longitude. At this phase, the lunar disk is not visible to the naked eye, except when it is silhouetted against the Sun during a solar eclipse. " said Aruma
" Umm?? " said Kazuki
" There's no Moon idiot , Demon power are at it's peak " said Aruma as he twitched his face in anger.
" Someone's here I can smell it " he added There was rustling in the nearby bush. Everyone took their fighting stance as they were ready to pounce and attack.
" I am never scouting with you again. Whenever you are saying that you know a shortcut I ain't coming " said Kanako as she jumped out of the bush.
She saw Jetchi , Ryo , Aruma and Kazuki in their fighting stance as she looked with a puzzled face.
" What are you guys doing here I thought you all the defeated that guy or guys " said Kanako
" Where is grandpa ? " asked Kazuki
" I am right here " said Gorosuke as he jumped out of another bush.
" Wait I thought you were just behind me or was it I who was in front of you. What's happening if I jumped out first shouldn't you be the first person to jump out because I was following you , What the hell is going on " asked Kanako
" This place is a mess " said Gorosuke
" They have turned this place into a puzzle or a maze " said Aruma
" Oh no " said Ryo
" What ? " everyone asked together
" Look right in front of you " said Ryo as he pointed his finger
A Man covered in blood and wounds , limped towards Gorosuke. He was murmuring something but it wasn't audible. The group tried to close in the distance but the more they reached towards them , the more far he appeared.
" God damn it " said Ryo
" He....L..p..se..nsei " the man whispered
As soon as the man reached Gorosuke , he collapsed.
" Wake up son , talk to me " said Gorosuke as tried to reach the man
" Don't move " said Aruma
" What ? " asked Gorosuke
" You know why motherfu....hmm you know why , you can see the future can't you " said Aruma
" hmmm " grunted Gorosuke
The Man stood up as he was perfectly fine. He moved his arms and stood in an attention stance. His face started to peel off parallely as his tongue and eyes gauged out.
" Eeewww what the fuck " said Kazuki
His arms twisted 360 degree as his joints broke and as his arms turned similar to a puppet.
" Fuck...fuck fuck " said Aruma
" What? " asked Jetchi
" There's 3 " said Aruma
" WHAT!!! " shouted everyone except Gorosuke
" THERE'S 3 OF THEM RHY TUM AND SOMEONE NEW , I CAN'T CATCH HIS SMELL , HE WASN'T AROUND IN THIS 30 YEARS TIME GAP , IT'S IS SOMEONE NEW " shouted Aruma
" 3 fucking generals? " asked Kazuki
" More for me I guess " said Kazuki as he jumped at the man
Aruma caught his leg and slammed him to ground. He dragged him towards everyone and bear hugged him. He turned around covering everyone as he chanted and summoned his spirit.
" Why you did that , I had plenty of time " said Kazuki
Kazuki peeked and saw that the man bones were out of his body and it turned him into a bony hedgehog. Before anyone could do anything , he exploded , launching broken pointy bones at the group direction. Aruma blocked it with his animal spirit.
" What the fuck was that " said Kazuki
" There's 3 , this new one is here to fuck with our minds , he is an illusionist , a trickster. He is changing reality to break us mentally. They are buying time for Rhy and Tum to reach full power " said Aruma
" HEEEERRRRPPPPP MEEEE !!!! " a voice echoed from far distance
" That sounds familiar " said Jetchi
" It's Jarred , I think " said Kanako
" Who is Jarred ? " asked Hiro
" Ahh I see you were unconscious at the time " said Jetchi
