Chapter 50 :- Battle for Glory

Hiro unwrapped the box and kept them on the table the first box had a letter which was covered in blood. However to everyone's surprise the text was still visible and were readable Hiro was confused so he give the box and the text letter to Gorosuke. Gorosuke started to read the text aloud out to everyone:-

" This sword is a soul collector which is thirsty for blood , it's made with the iron extracted from the blood of 359 human and smeared together with the devils iron blade. The sword whose edges are made by one of the mightiest swordsmith of the heaven.The sword which was brought to life by the lightning of Toraje itself. This is a demonic sword named Demonica and no one can escape its judgement. This sword chooses her owner for itself because it not only have its own life but if used by a righteous owner it could even unlock its potential far above of what a mortal mind can comprehend" said Gorosuke as he took a gulp

" Is this the sword of Benkei...." asked Gorosuke

" Yes , yes it is " said Yuzi

There was dead silence in the room as everyone were scared of the swords description. Kazuki as cocky as he was stood up and started to laugh.

" No demon can control me, I slay demons and I kill monsters.This is a demon sword you say grandpa? I'll show him what a real demon is " said Kazuki as he grabbed the sword and started to remove the blood covered cloth around the sword. The blood cloth was all around this wall covering the sword from the tip to the handle. As soon as Kazuki removed the cloth around the handle a sharp slashing noise occured out of nowhere. Kazuki dropped the sword on the ground as his fingers started to bleed. To everyone's amaze the sword went back to the box and the box closed again. Kazuki started to grunt as he sat down where he was.

" So the Legend is true " said Hiroshi

" What's the other box have Hiro " asked Kanako

" The sake " said Hiro

" Why didn't you drank it " asked Hiroshi

" Well after what happened i forgot about it but it was here all the time " said Hiro

" So what are we gonna do now " said Hiroshi

" The letter , hmmm can I have it grandpa " asked Mimiko

" Yeah sure , but why " asked Gorosuke

" While training for few months I was able to unlock the technique of foresight. This not only allows me to read minds of the people whenever I want but it also helps me to look what a human eye cannot. This technique however is still unpolished for now , I can just read the history of a person and its mind. If I would be able to polish it I would be able to see the past and the present with future at the same time" said Mimiko

" Woah " said Hiroshi

Mimiko started to blush while looking at Hiroshi

" Read it then " said Ryo

" Ok " said Mimiko as she took a deep breath

Mimiko started to stare at the text and as she started to focus her eyes started to glow and turned into of what similar to of a cat. Mimiko spoke aloud out to everyone:-

" Benkei joined the forces and started to serve under the great lord Minamoto no Yoshitsune also known as Ushiwakamaru. Benkei was said to have wandered around Kyoto every night on a personal quest to take 1000 swords from samurai warriors, who he believed were arrogant and unworthy. After collecting 999 swords through duels and looking for his final prize, he met a young man playing a flute at Gojotenjin Shrine in Kyoto. The much shorter man supposedly carried a gilded sword around his waist. Instead of dueling at the shrine itself, the two walked to Gojo Bridge in the city where the bigger Benkei ultimately lost to the smaller warrior, who happened to be Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a son of Minamoto no Yoshitomo.

Benkei and Yoshitsune were encircled in the castle of Koromogawa no tate. As Yoshitsune retired to the inner keep of the castle to commit ritual suicide (seppuku) on his own, Benkei stood guard on the bridge in front of the main gate to protect Yoshitsune. It is said that the soldiers were afraid to cross the bridge to confront him, and that all who did met swift death at the hands of the gigantic man, who killed in excess of 300 trained soldiers. Realising that close combat would mean suicide, the warriors following Minamoto no Yoritomo decided to shoot and kill Benkei with arrows instead. Long after the battle should have been over, the soldiers noticed that the arrow-riddled, wound-covered Benkei was still standing. When the soldiers dared to cross the bridge and take a closer look, the giant man fell to the ground, having died standing upright. After his death , a shrine was built near the foot of the Chusonji hill. However , the family who was saved by Benkei himself sworn on their life to protect the last belonging , the seven arms of the demon , the seven weapons of Benkei.

This right is here is one of the 7 weapons. In order to protect the weapon from reaching in wrong hand , the family descendants hid it in a castle far away from the his death place. When the right time would approach the worthy , the place shall reveal himself" said Mimiko.

Everyone sat in awe as they were both astonished and mesmerized by the history of the greatest warrior to ever live.

" We must find the weapon and...." said Kanako as she was short cut by a loud noise outside the school.
