Chapter 37 :- Was it worth it?

" What did you just said Grandma " said Hiroshi as everyone was scared and looked puzzled.

" Don't mind her , she reads old published comics often and dictate the same story to everyone she used to dictate to the our children" said the old man.

"Or it could be an introduction of a character yet to be introduced to you all , so the writer did all the job for you so that you can proceed to the next arc and this was meant to be your task but the other character development was important so he cutt you out because you are about to be a part of a big and major fight in novel" said the woman

" I didn't get it , really " said Hiro

" Me neither " said Kanako

However Kazuki and Hiroshi were genuinely scared of the old woman.

" So what do we do now " asked Ryo

" Idk we will be going back I guess , I mean the next train from now is after 3 days. We must catch it in 45 mins or it will be late" said Hiroshi.

" Ok so let's go back what a waste " said Kanako

" Why dont you join us , grandpa , grandma " asked Hiro

" Huh , what we would do " said the old man

" What are you doing here , anyway no humans no animals , atleast you all will be saved from the disaster that may strike this place anytime " said Hiro

" Well , you know the kid got a point " said the old man

" Yes , pls join us back to the school and you can meet grandpa again " said Hiroshi

" But kids , how , why we would do so "

" Please " everyone pleaded

The old couple looked at each other and smiled.

" Ok if you are insisting so much " said the old couple.

Hiroshi , Hiro , Mimiko , Kanako , Kazuki , Ryo, Jetchi and the old couple went to the railway station and were waiting for the train. This time however , Kazuki was tied to Hiroshi and Mimiko.

" Why this shit again " said Kazuki

" Because , we don't want the free food this time" said Mimiko

" Woah here comes the train " said Hiro

" Let's go " said Kanako.

Everyone boarded the train and crossed check everyone and every item. This time the train coach was very different and build was also different. This time the compartment were smaller and the benches were creeky , the sheets and foam seats stained and the iron handle rusted , however the train was able to run perfectly.

" Are you sure this is the way home and not the train to spooky town " said Kanako.

" Yes , I am , maybe this the effect of the mountain like the old couple suggested"

said Hiro

" Maybe , hey what's the time " asked Kanako

" It's 3pm " sais Hiroshi

" Hmmm maybe we should eat and sleep , I mean we might reach home by 10 in the morning " said Kanako

" Maybe Kanako is right , we can do that " said Mimiko.

" May I have your ticket please " said the TC as he started to approach Hiroshi

" Yes sure , sir , I have one question " asked Hiroshi

" Yes , ask " said the TC as he punched the ticket.

" Is the earlier TC your brother , you look kinda same " abruptly asked Hiro

" Which TC " asked The TC as he started to sweat.

" The other train , the one before this , which enough us here had a whole prank thing going on " said Hiroshi

" There's no other train expect this , oh no oh no no no no no no oh no" said the TC as his face turned blue 😱

" What , what... happened" asked Hiro

" That train went missing 1 month ago , that train went through the tunnel to reach the station but never returned" said The TC

" Hahhahhahahhha , nice joke man , we were already pranked like this , this will never work" said Kazuki

" No , well I tried , I am an old man afterall " said The TC

The old couple were quite and silent for the first time since they met Hiro and his friends

but were constantly staring the TC.

" Well , I shall be going now " said the TC as he went to the other train boxcar.

" What's wrong " asked Kanako and Ryo looking at the old couple.

" Nothing , you guys can go and eat in your room" said The old woman

" Ok I guess , I do feel hungry " said Jetchi

" Everyone let's come to my room and let's eat " said Hiro

" You kids can go we will be joining you shortly" said the old man

" Ok " sais Hiroshi as he closed the door.

" I think they are gone " said the old man

" Yes , yes they are " said the old woman

" Alright , show yourself " said the old man

" Ah man , how you know I was there " said The figure as he jumped down the roof from the train.

" You really shouldn't have done that " said The old man

" I am sorry , but I thought this will be for the best , I wanted to help " said the figure

" How , by bringing the thing they all travelled to from far away " said the old woman

" Can I crash your party " said the TC

" Honey , I think it's time " said The old man

" Let me just do this " said the old woman as she snapped.

As soon as she snapped , everyone on the train except the old couple, the TC and The figure.

" Let's go " said the TC as he started to focus energy and started to shout.
