know you see them. And you have an amazing ability to show others how much they mean to you… I just want you to realise how important it is for you to let others see these amazing facets of you too… Even if it takes time… Because you shouldn't live your whole life surrounded by darkness; You need light too, Crowley… and that's what's holding you back… From showing everyone exactly how wonderful you are – and how much they matter to you." Crowley blinked at me silently, not quite believing what I had said to him, not fully believing any of it. But I was right. He needed to learn to accept the support of others instead of hiding away from it. He needed to embrace his happiness. Slowly he raised his hand to cover mine gently, his thumb stroking my knuckles reassuringly as a smile spread across his lips. "Thank you, Aziraphale. For listening, and for everything you said," He whispered sincerely, leaning towards me to press a gentle kiss against my lips, before shifting himself slightly so that he could wrap both arms comfortably around me as we both cuddled back into the sofa. As he kissed me, I noticed another pair of eyes glaring daggers into the back of my head from across the room. "Hey Beelzebub. Can I ask you something?" I asked sheepishly, looking up from my phone screen as Beelzebub glared down at me from across the room. Their eyes met briefly before the other demon turned their attention back to a book in front of them as if they hadn't even heard me speak. They continued to ignore me completely until a thought occurred to me. "Beelzebub. Can you… uhm… Do you actually… Like books? Do you read… stuff? Or um… do you like reading? I dunno… I don't know what I mean, I'm sorry, I probably should have asked you a bunch of other questions first… I just… I haven't really had someone to talk to lately since I came here and I guess I was curious about… you? So… yeah. Sorry if that makes sense." I rambled nervously, looking away from their intense stare in embarrassment as I tried desperately to think of anything else I could have possibly said. They scoffed lowly, rolling their eyes at me as they placed their book on the nearby table. With a loud grunt they pushed themselves to their feet, walking towards me with their arms crossed behind their back, looking completely unimpressed. "Well well. What do we have here?" Beelzebub mused mockingly, stopping about four feet short of where I sat on the floor. I looked up at them nervously, unsure of what they were planning on doing next. "You've come into contact with a demon," They stated flatly as they stared down at me with narrow eyes. "Um, yes. Yes…" I stammered uncertainly, glancing sideways up at them, biting my bottom lip anxiously as I waited for them to continue speaking. "How long has this been going on?" My heart sank. This was exactly where I hadn't prepared myself for any of this to end up. Not today. "Just two days or so," I admitted quietly, looking down at my lap rather uncomfortably. Beelzebub remained silent for several seconds. I could feel their gaze burning holes straight through my soul. The silence went on and on until finally… "And did you tell him how you feel?" They asked softly, their eyes boring directly into mine. "Yeah, I did. I told him that I love him…" I whispered quietly, unable to bring myself to meet their gaze.
