Worldwide Profound Gathering Array

Ban continued creating the array until midnight. He finished ten pillars that was full of array runes in it.

Seeing Ban stretched his body, Clara curiously asked, "Is this the array?" She glanced at the flickering runes and was dazzled.

Ban nodded, "Once these pillars were placed from each part of the planet, it will automatically activate."

"That's it?" Clara was puzzled. From what she know, an array needs to be fueled by energy first before activating.

"That's it." Ban chuckled. He knew what's on her mind. However, he wouldn't go spending his own energy to create a massive array on his planet.

He stored nine runed pillars into the spatial treasure and passed it to Clara. He picked the last pillar which has been different than the other pillars and stored it in his own spatial storage.

"Take five of these pillars and bury it fifty meters underground all over the planet. As for the remaining four, bury it in my country."

Clara nodded and asked, "Why the additional in your country?"

Ban shrugged his shoulders and smiled, "That's a secret for now. You'll know about it soon."

Clara pouted in dismay. She asked, "Once I placed all the Pillars, will it activate automatically?"

Ban shook his head, "I have the last piece that I will personally bury in my backyard after you are done placing all the pillars."

Ariana stood up, "I'll be waiting in the rooftop of this mansion." She then disappeared without waiting for Ban's response.

Tony immediately approached Clara and Ban and asked about the array.

Clara explained and told Ban's instruction. Old Tony wanted to ask more when Clara started heading out to place the pillars on the planet.

Ban then headed to the rooftop to meet with Ariana.

"You seemed confident about your array." Ariana squinted her eyes at Ban who brought a tea for her.

"Who knows? It might not work after all." Ban shrugged his shoulder.

"..."

Ban could see her veil twitched a little.

'She must have paid a lot for those materials I requested.'

"Don't worry. I'm sure it will work without any fail." Ban paused and asked, "So about what you said a while ago. Is it true that Nana has a powerful father?"

Ariana turned to him and nodded after a moment. She said, "All I know is that, her father was looking for his daughter. However, her mother was hunted down by Dark Profound Practitioners, that is why she died early due to a very strong poison. Both Dark Profound Practitioners and Profound Practitioners doesn't have harmony on each other a very long time ago until today. Even if Nana is a Dark Profound Practitioner, she might still be hunted by her kind for having a different mother." She paused and continued, "Her mother and I were best friend. She entrusted me her child and wanted her daughter to have a worry free life in this planet. However, as time went by, Nana became curious about her father. I told her that he was dead, but she didn't believe me in the slightest. She told me that she has a feeling that her father was alive and watching her in the distance."

"After that, I avoided her and let the time pass so that she can forget this obsession of finding her father, but I never thought that she was still at it." Ariana sighed.

Ban asked curiously, "Then why don't you tell her the truth? Or give her to her father? I can feel that you are very strong. You might be able to fend off some nuisance in the way. After, all, Nana has the right to know about her father."

Ariana shook her head, "It's not that simple. I am a citizen of Eastern Realm, an enemy of Western Realm. Plus, I am worried about Nana's safety if I entrust her with someone else." She paused and squinted her eyes at Ban, "Now that you know the secret, it's your choice if you want to help her or not."

Ban twitched his lips, 'How come I've become this woman's cannon fodder? Ugh.'

"We'll talk about that in the future." He shook his head. He wasn't planning on leaving this planet yet for adventure anytime soon. Now that his planet was getting evolved, why not take advantage of it and make it his own domain?

"Say, have you heard about the 5th Realm in this universe?" Ban asked her some random question.

Ariana stood abruptly. She stared at Ban in disbelief, "How do you know that?"

Ban was puzzled why she became agitated. He shrugged, "I guessed?"

Ariana narrowed her eyes and grabbed Ban's collar and lifted him up, "Say it. Don't make me repeat myself." Her cold voice resounded in night.

Ban felt a chill down to his spine. He wasn't expecting this outcome. He stared at her for a while and made some bullsh*t, "My master told me that if I wanted to find her, then I should visit the 5th Realm in this universe." He tried his best to remain calm in order for Ariana to not notice anything abnormal to him.

"Are you sure?" Ariana asked again. Her gripped didn't let go as Ban remained in the air.

"Yes." Ban nodded in affirmation.

*Bam!*

Ban was suddenly thrown to the floor. He was clutching his bottom as he didn't expect her to be so rough. He asked, "What's your deal? Did I say something wrong?"

Ariana snorted and replied in a cold voice, "The 5th Realm is the nemesis of all four Realms in this universe."

"Eh?" Ban was surprised. He didn't think that his reason was a failure. However, she didn't do anything against him for having an master with a background. If she did, he would've died a thousand times.

*Che!*

Ariana snorted and sat back down. She glared at Ban with menace instead.

Ban scratched his head. He wanted to take back what he said earlier, but it seems like Ariana wasn't planning on listening to his reasons so he sat timidly into a corner. He wasn't planning on provoking this monster in front of him in the slightest.

Not long after, Clara and Old Tony arrived at the rooftop of the mansion.

"All done." Clara said to Ban.

Old Tony's eyes flickered with expectation. He examined Ban's runes, but he didn't get anything at all since the runes were foreign to him.

"Let's start." Ban nodded and took the remaining pillar as he buried it in his backyard with a single push.

*OOOOMMM!!!!**

The earth trembled for a while and returned to it's normal silence.

Ban clapped his hands feeling satisfied.

"Did it work?" Old Tony approached Ban with excitement.

Ban smiled mysteriously and nodded.

Ariana, Clara and Tony observed the surroundings and didn't find the changes they were looking for.

"Oh. I forgot to tell you that the array will start it's effect after a day." Ban scratched his head. His array was gathering it's own energy and slowly taking the effect.

The three stared at Ban with hate.

Ariana snorted coldly and left the place in a huff. Old Tony was also in dismay as he followed Ariana in a hurry.

Meanwhile, Clara pouted at Ban, "At least give me a head's up for this. I expected something magical, you know."

Ban made a wry chuckle. He replied, "I'm also helpless about it. Unless you guys can fuel this array's core and it will instantly activate, but I know that you can't do that. I won't waste my energy on a huge array like this too so I let it absorb energy on it's own."

Clara's eyes brightened, "So you mean to say this array can work indefinitely without exhausting it's energy reserve?"

"Naturally." Ban nodded in confirmation. He continued, "You won't fill it's energy as it continuously absorb the energy in the surroundings. It will forever work as long as the pillars won't get destroyed accidentally."

Clara nodded in understanding. What she didn't know was that Ban told her a part of it's function.

The real purpose of his array stands the same. To cover the planet with illusion and hide it to outsiders. However, he added something totally different.

He's making the planet to be a separate realm. Erased it's existence in the universe while not hindering it's evolving progress.

The main core is the pillar on his backyard which has a huge benefit for him too. The endpoint of his array which will going to be a gathering point of energies that will spread only to his mansion. If one meditate in his mansion in the future, they will gain huge boost on their prowess.

"I will give you an item tomorrow. You will need it when entering and exiting the planet. Otherwise, you will end up being trapped in a unending illusion forever." Ban mysteriously smiled.

Clara was confused. However, she didn't ask anything and bade farewells to him.

Ban couldn't contain his excitement at the moment.

'The aura of the surroundings have become ten times from a month ago. If this continues, this planet will indeed become a paradise for Practitioners out there. With my array here, reaching who knows what realm in cultivation will be a matter of time.'

"God Realm, Huh..."

Ban's eyes shined before returning to his mansion with a jubilant mood.
