I was enjoying my empty apartment. The peace and quiet, I mean. Yeah, there were times I missed the easy sex, but I could walk down to the nearest bar and pick up just about anything I felt in the mood for, so there was no sense pining for the kid’s tight ass. Besides, he needed a little romance in his life, with someone closer to his own age. I was too much like a trick. Or a daddy. If only I didn’t keep getting that crazy little twinge every time I thought about the kid. Maybe I ought to make an appointment, have my yearly physical a little early. Maybe I was getting an ulcer or something.
