Ch 308.5: Atlas’s preparation.

"Once you see the men in the armor, you are to run for them asking for help then pull on this handle here." An atlas hunter says holding what seems to be a vest full of fire dust.

Meanwhile at the combat schools all students are being drilled in spears or staves anything they could grab hold of and fight with.

The water on atlas's shore is having land mines on spikes buried into the ground at low tide as trenches are hastily being dug by fanus prisoners.

Up on the island of atlas the dropships that could be gathered are being retrofit with rockets and dust bombs. experimental air burst dust rounds are being put to the test under war conditions.

Thousands of atlas Paladins are being moved to the ground to confront the invasion force.

Atlas however is in a bad state even if it were to fight off the invasion they wouldn't have enough resources to pose as a threat again.

Even so the civilians are being instructed to pick up arms and fight back if they see the invading army.

Nothing short of the eradication of atlas and its people would stop them from fighting to the bitter end.

For now anyways.
