The moment Heat left the cave, Supido held Aquila by the shoulder and pulled her back inside.

"Why did you alert them and bring many amen with you?! They're all in danger. The blending amen is very dangerous. He is something else…I can feel it, cannot pinpoint. He might not even be an amen. He's been tracking Heat for some time now, and the moment spa leaks from him, it unleashes a heavy pressure. He struggles to contain his spa, the likes of which I have never come across. The reason I went with Heat was so I could trap him and find out why he was following Heat." "I-I uh…didn't know it could be this serious, sorry. You could've at least let someone in on your plan."

Supido sighed. "Get everyone in a Follow-up formation, I have a plan. We are going to make him release spa, after that, leave the rest to me."

Supido walked out of the cave with Aquila.

"Follow-up formation, in the direction of Heat Fury, now!" Supido ordered.

All twenty amen, including Ursus and Aquila formed separate two lines, with a person on each line facing another in the other line. One amen jumped between the two lines and stomped his right foot on the ground. The number of amen standing in the lines seemed to have tripled. There was a sudden burst of spa from each of the people in the two lines. Supido stood between the two lines, shut his eyes for about two seconds and absorbed spa from the people in the lines. A wavy blue aura grew slowly around Supido, being fed by spa of different colors from the other twenty amen. He opened his eyes and a burst of spa came from them. Then he clapped and headed the air, as if trying to force himself through a force field. He saw a black child, who didn't even look like a teenager. The boy looked scared as the number of people in the lines seemed to triple every second. The multitude began to fill the forest. Supido transported to the boy and hit specific points on his chest. He became visible to everyone and stood there motionless, staring at Supido.

"How is he still standing?" one amen whispered to another.

"Kid-" Supido was about to speak but realized that no one could notice his presence or hear him.

Aquila opened her palm and a feather grew out. She threw it at the boy but it disappeared before it could hit him. Everyone in that area began to collapse and the amen lu'a begun to disappear. Supido was confused; how was the boy doing all of this? He did not even lift a finger and yet he took down twenty trained amen.

"You're scared, right? Wondering if I am going to kill you?" he asked Supido.

Supido switched his eyes to that of a wolf's. This way he saw things differently and clearer along with sharper images and being able to trace even the slightest spa. He could even decide to see things around him in black and white.

"I am not scared in anyway whatsoever. This technique of yours is amazing. I now understand how you went invisible without leaving a trace; you have the ability to exist more than one dimension at the same time. I was able to detect you since I concentrated so much spa in my eyes and released it instantaneously, allowing my vision to penetrate through one of your dimensions the moment you leaked a little spa. You used that to trap me, or I should say absorb me. Currently, I am in one of your dimensions, this totally black abyss. You have spa and abilities beyond your control capabilities. What exactly are you?"

"That was a fairly long speech, a strangely accurate one, as expected of the infamous lightning pathfinder, Supido Lupus. My name is Thanatos. No one knows this much about me, even after I keep them here. Tell me something, how do you intend to escape in the first place, when no one can hear or see you but me?"

"How old are you? I suspect your body isn't reflective of your age."

"Hmm…you talk weird."

Thanatos disappeared.

Supido sat down and looked around. It seemed like he was in space without planets or stars. His powerful eyes were useless. He shut his eyes and began to think.

Thanatos walked through the forest searching for Heat but could not find him. After some time, he saw a tiny snake in the distance. He snuck up towards its direction, believing it could be Heat. As he walked towards it, another snake leaped out of the bushes and bit him on his arm. The snake was sent into the dark dimension where Supido is. Supido leaped and held the snake before it landed. More snakes approached Thanatos.

"What's going on?!"

"Ooooh, that's the kid?" he heard Heat's voice approaching.

The boy turned and saw Heat behind him.

"Oi Stupido, where are you?"

A wolf ran behind Thanatos. Scared, he looked to his side and saw that the snake that bit him had its head still visible.

"Impossible!"

He opened his arms wide and tried to absorb all the snakes and the wolf into another dimension. A strong wind ravaged the forest as the creatures were drawn into Thanatos' dimensions. Trees fell but Heat was unaffected. When Thanatos noticed, he increased the intensity to absorb Heat too, but suddenly found himself unable. Someone had their hand wrapped around his neck from behind.

"Why did you insult me you retarded life form?"

"Hehe. Welcome back, Supido."

Supido took in a deep breath. "Aaaaah, it feels good to be back."

"Impossible! How did you escape?! Why is nothing working anymore?!"

"In the end, it was really just a gamble; I postulated that you could only operate in one dimension."

"Wha-"

Supido turned him and looked into his eyes, putting him to sleep.

Heat chuckled. "Really? Postulated?"

Supido shrugged.

"He's like ten."

"Something tells me he is much older than that."

"Nice touch, getting the wolf to come fetch me."

"I didn't have much of choice."

Supido was able to escape by exploiting a flaw in Thanatos' ability; when he absorbing something into his pocket dimension, it existed in both his dimension and the real world during the process, albeit for a very short moment. When the snake bit his hand and he started to absorb it, it temporarily existed in two dimensions during the process. Supido used that split second to transfer his spa back into the real dimension via the snake. Thanatos' absorption only trapped a person's spa, while their body just disappeared in the real world. Once in the real world, Supido's body manifested.

Supido turned the boy to face him, looked into his eyes and he slept.

"Since that is done, I'm gonna take just Mira to the hospital while you deal with the rest."

Heat walked away.

"Fine."

Heat was walking through the forest when Supido swooshed in front of him.

"Hey, slow poke, I'm done with the others. Why are you still here?"

"How do you move so fast you cheat?!"

"Jealously never did take anyone far. Need some help?"

"No thanks, just an escort."

They walked through the forest, heading for the Hospital in the town.

"Oi, Supido, what is gonna happen to the kid?"

"I'm not sure myself, but a decision will be made in a few minutes."

"And the means they had to defeat Sennin?"

"Information is being extracted from their leader as we speak."

All this while, two men sat in the trees undetected. They watched everything that went on without interfering.

"So?"

"So?"

"What's your verdict?"

"They were wrong."

"The vermin?"

"Yes, them. He's someone else."

"How sure are you?"

"More than fifty percent."

"Then the trial was a success."

"Yes. Now we need to make sure the people survive. Let's go."

The two men disappeared from the forest.
