3rd Person POV:

(Y/n) woke up to the smell of pancakes, bacon, eggs and the longing feeling of Ushijima's warmth. He wasn't on the bed with her. The young girl got up and made her way over to the bathroom; he wasn't there either. A feeling of distraught crept up into her body, and she couldn't help but worry for him.

'Maybe he's already at work?' (Y/n) thought to herself, but then she remembered that Ushijima would put on a suit for his job. His suit was hanging up in the closet.

Her eyes got watery, her heart pounded against her chest, and her breaths became fast and short. She was panicking. At least, she was until hearing a clanging sound coming from the front of the kitchen. Her head darted into the direction to where the noise had come from and knitted her eyebrows in confusion.

'I thought all the staff went home for the day? And Waka-kun doesn't allow anyone else upstairs....' (Y/n) pondered in her mind, carefully walking over to the kitchen. She made her way across the room, down the hall, and nearing the smell of now burnt food. But when she opened the sliding doors to the kitchen, she saw Ushijima, wearing her cooking apron, and the entire room in a mess. (Y/n)'s mouth sat wide open, gaping at the sight in front of her.

"W-Waka-kun! What happened here?!" With distressed eyes, she ran over to her boyfriend, helping to clean him up.

"Sorry, honey. I tried to make breakfast for you, but I ended up burning everything... and ended up making a big mess." Ushijima turned his head, trying to hide the small blush on his cheeks; it embarrassed him.

"Oh, Waka. You know I can cook for us, right? It's not a problem for me." The girl sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"I know. I just thought it would be a pleasant experience to cook. And then maybe I could do something nice for you...." The man trailed off, and because his eyes showed a glint of sadness inside of them, (Y/n)'s heart sank in a sea of negative emotions.

"Aww, baby! Thank you for trying your hardest at an attempt to do something good for me, but trust me when I say this; even when you don't try at all, you never cannot make me happy. I love you no matter what." The girl closed the gap between the two of them and pulled her lover into a kiss. (Y/n) had to tippy-toe in order to reach his lips, but she could connect her mouth with his.

Ushijima's hands snaked around her waist, pulling the girl into a tight hug, and deepening the kiss along the way. He disconnected his pair of lips from hers and saw the small blush on her face mirroring the one he just had a few seconds. Smiling at the sight of his adorable little angel, he slipped in a quick peck on her cheeks, then detached once again. And as a reaction to Ushijima's actions, all the girl could do was stand there and become a terribly noticeable blushing mess. The tall man let out one of his beautiful chuckles and pet his lover's head.

He loved her so much.

"A-Ah. I'll go and s-start on breakfast then. " He lifted his hand to let her through to the fridge.

(Y/n) got out milk, sugar, flour, butter, eggs, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. She also got out some bacon, link sausages, and chocolate chips.

"What are you making?" Ushijima asked, hugging his girl from behind and resting his chin on her right shoulder. He wasn't this clingy all the time; only when the two of them were alone together. He's way different in public.

"All the stuff you burnt." She giggled, cracking the eggs into the bowl. "Can you clean up the rest of the kitchen, please?" She asked ever so sweetly.

"Heh, of course." The man answered, kissing (Y/n)'s neck before going over to the sink to do the dishes piled up in there.

After everything was clean and cooked, the two of them sat at the breakfast table, ready to dig into the delicious-looking food. They spent the entire rest of the day simply relaxing in each other's touch. The two lovers watched movies together, made sandwiches, ate ice cream, started new shows. They did all they could to spend time with one another. For their movie marathon, the couple watched the Harry Potter series (if you don't like Harry Potter, then pretend you guys watched something else).

As the music of the first movie played, echoing throughout the giant living room, (Y/n) wrapped a big fluffy blanket around herself and Ushijima. It was warm inside. The young girl sat comfortably in her boyfriend's lap, snuggling closer into his touch, as it was one of the few things which made her feel safe. Ushijima took notice in this, and so he pulled his arms tightly around her tiny figure, embracing the feeling of warmth and salvation.

The first movie played for a little over 2 hours, but never was there a time when either of them became bored through any part of the movie. (Y/n) was already a huge Harry Potter fan (and if you aren't, then you're a fan of the movie/show you chose), so she loved watching the movies repeatedly, and the feeling of excitement never seemed to fade. As for Ushijima, he'd never watched the series before, and thought the movie was quite interesting.

"Well? Did you like it?" She asked sweetly, tilting her head upwards in order to look at her lover.

"I think I did. The way the music played in the background was very nice, and the amount of creativity, imagination, and originality that went into just this one movie was most impressive." He explained, making (Y/n) grin ear to ear.

"Yay! I'm so glad you liked it! Though, we don't stan Rowling right now. She's canceled." The girl said, nodding with closed eyes and adorable puffed-out cheeks.

But her choice of words confused Ushijima very much. "I do not understand. What does 'stan' mean? And 'canceled?' Is she dead?" The man had questions only a millennial would have.

His loving girlfriend giggled slightly, before explaining to him what the author did.

"Ah, I see. Well, that is a good reason to 'cancel' her, I suppose."

"Yep. Anyway, isn't time to make dinner now?" She asked, imagining the wonderful food she could eat. (Y/n) was always one of those people who had an enormous appetite, ate all she wanted all the time, but still gained no weight.

"But we sent all the staff home, and I cannot cook. I'm sure you have realized that from our experience this morning. Ahem, would you want to make dinner, angel?" He asked sweetly, kissing the top of (Y/n)'s head.

But, if she was being honest, the girl really wasn't in the mood to cook dinner for the two of them. She felt exhausted because of their day in, and all she could do was picture the yummy food—not cook it. "Not really... sorry, honey. Do you want to order out? We can get something you like!"

Ushijima was practically glowing—in his own reserved, stoic way. "Then, can we get Hayashi Rice from Toshoku?"

"Oh, of course! I'll go order it now!" She stepped out of the blanket, walking over to get her phone.

The food arrived a little over 20 minutes, and the two of them dug into the lovely mix of meat, rice, and vegetables. With their stomachs full, and having showered before eating, the couple decided to just go to sleep. Ending their amazing day in with a high note, the two slipped on their pajamas and peacefully cuddled to bed.

"Waka? Are you awake?" (Y/n) asked, having the soft blanket up to her button nose.

"I am, sweetie. Did you need something?" He put his right hand on the back of her head, caressing her hair lovingly.

"I love you. I hope you remember that, because I can't bring myself to hate you, or stay angry with you. And if I did, I'd just remember the fact which I just love you so much." The girl whispered softly, a small smile stitched onto her face.

Ushijima's heart gave a flutter, which was rare for anyone else. But when he was with (Y/n), the girl he cares for the most, it was a common occurrence. "I love you as well. I want to make you feel happy, just like you do for me. I know sometimes I'm not all that talkative, or caring, but that's only because we'll be around people I'm not comfortable with. When I'm with you, however, I feel these 'butterflies' in my stomach, and I can't help but express my love for you. So yes, I love you too."

But by the time he said 'butterflies,' (Y/n) was already sound asleep. The man took notice in this, and just gave her forehead one last kiss, before drifting off to dream-land all the same.

The next morning's sun gave off warmth and heat; but not the kind Ushijima was looking for. As he sat up from the bed he and (Y/n) fell asleep on, he couldn't help but notice that her figure, her loving smell, her very essence was missing. His mind fell into a panic, and as he checked the entire mansion, the feeling of dread, anger, and worry grew closer and closer into his heart.

His angel was gone.
