Chapter six

Author's POV

Leon ran into the woods angrily, he was at rage at the ridiculous game fate was playing with him. 

"How could my mate be an Omega? How? Just how??" He kept questioning himself while running deep into the forest, crashing into the leaves in the woods. 

Finally, he came across a lake and then felt his anger calming down at the sight. He spent the rest of the full moon night watching the lake instead of hunting, sitting there idle was better than facing the reality that awaited him at the palace.

At the break of dawn, Leon shifted back to his human form and decided to go to his hideout. It was a bamboo bungalow on the outskirts of the town, it was his place of solace.

**The Dark Park Palace

Andrea walked quickly to Bianca's room, she was worried about Leon as she hadn't seen him after his rage the other night. She knocked impatiently at the door.

"Bianca, Open up. It's me" she said

"Hey, Andrea, what brings you here this early?"

"I don't seem to like Leon's wife" Andrea angrily complained as she walked into the room.

"Huh?"

"I truly don't like her Bianca, she and Leon just got married but she couldn't even please him, instead she made him angry and now he didn't come home all night"

"Arrgh! I want to punish her so bad" Andrea added, before picking up an apple from the fruit basket and taking a large chunk.

Bianca smiled as she heard Andrea's little rant, who would have thought that she'd be getting an ally so soon?

"Why don't we get back at her together, Andrea?"

"How would we do that?"

"Well, first things first, we have to know the level of her strength. So we'd set her up for Luna's fight" Bianca suggested and Andrea meanly smiled

"When do we do that?" She asked

"Right now!"

Bianca and Andrea gathered the strongest to the weakest female warriors in the palace and led them to the open space where the fight would be taking place.

Bianca then went to Ashley's room to give her the clothes she'd be wearing for the fight.

"Change into this" she ordered Ashley as she threw the clothes onto the bed

"Change? Why?"

"Are you questioning me?" Bianca rudely replied

"Not really, I just want to know why you'd want me to change. After all, what I'm putting on is not bad"

"Well, you have to change for a function. After all, you're now the Luna of our park" Bianca stressed the latter park with a hint of mockery. "We'd be waiting for you at the open field" And with that said, she left the room so Ashley could change.

**The open space

"We'd start with the weakest but most brutal Omega before proceeding to the other warriors. By the time she gets to us, she'd be extremely weak to...." Bianca and Andrea stopped talking as soon as they saw Ashley walk towards them

"I'm here now, what am I to do?" Ashley said immediately after greeting them

"You'd see". 

"Girls, gather round. As we all know we have our Luna and as per tradition, our Luna is to fight with everyone here to know her strength " Bianca loudly said 

"What? Fight with everyone here?" Ashley asked with a shaky voice. "I'm sorry but I can't " she added and tried to walk away 

"Why?" Andrea said holding her back 

"Because I just can't"

"Well, you don't have a choice because it's our tradition and I advise you to do this without causing trouble. You already stressed Leon out yesterday, it would be bad if he returns and hears you disrespected him"

Ashley's heart skipped a beat as she heard Andrea's words. Though it wasn't her fault that she was an Omega, she felt guilty. The Alpha of a park shouldn't be away like that.

She was still lost in her thoughts when she felt a harsh push into the field, soon she was standing in front of a girl, around her age but a little taller than she was.

Ashley looked around for some sort of escape but she couldn't find any and before she knew it, her opponent had rushed at her, giving her a hard kick on the chest which sent her to the ground.

"Arrgh" Ashley screamed in pain, looking at her bruised knee and elbow. She raised her face and looked at her companions but they were all laughing heartily, especially Andrea and Bianca.

"I won't be disgraced like this" Ashley encouraged herself, she was good in fistfights and swordsmanship so she took advantage of her strength to beat her opponent.

Bianca seeing that the Omega was losing to Ashley, signaled to her to shape-shift. Ashley's opponent quickly shape-shifted into her big rogue form.

"Oh no!" Ashley muttered in fear as she staggered back. There was no way she could win now, even if she shape-shifted, her wolf would be so little standing beside a rogue.

The wolf howled and flew at Ashley, tearing her body with her large claws.

"No! Help!! Get off me!!!" Ashley kept screaming as the mockery and laughter got louder.

Andrea smiled at the sight, she picked up her phone and started recording the humiliating moment.

"Oh my goodness! Ashley is such a wimp"

"Gosh! Is this our park's Luna?"

"Hell no! Our Luna is such an embarrassment!!"

Ashley weakly heard all these words from the onlookers. She screamed and tried pushing the wolf off her but she couldn't and just then she laid still, tired and defeated.

"Stop!!" Bianca loudly said and immediately the wolf left the bloody Ashley alone, she was bleeding from all angles.

"It's too bad of us, we didn't give our Luna a chance to shape-shift. Why don't we let her shape-shift so she can fight back?" Bianca added 

 She bent down and looked at Ashley in the face, "Have you had enough or do you want more?"

Ashley weakly opened her mouth, "I can't, I'm tired" but Bianca ignored her plea and dragged her up by the collar, chanting loudly for her to shape-shift but Ashley refused.

"You had better shape-shift, you have a stronger opponent this time "
