Chapter Five

Ashley's POV

"What the hell?" I heard Leon shout angrily at me.

He looked at me and I could feel his intense gaze as if I was making his blood boil.

"What happened?" I managed to ask, stammering as I looked into his angry bloodshot eyes.

"Are you an Omega?" Leon angrily asked. 

I didn't know why but I wanted to laugh at his question and tell him how angry I was for him yelling at me because he wanted to know if I was an Omega.

"Answer me!!" He shouted as I flinched backward. 

Now the question sounded stupid to me, didn't he know I was an Omega before publicly asking for my hand in marriage in exchange for the lives of the Blue Park warriors he had captured? My head was thinking of what he could probably have in his head.

"Yes, I am. I am an Omega" 

"No!!!!" Leon roared angrily as he grabbed my neck tightly. "You can't be an Omega, my mate can never be an Omega" he angrily said as he threw me to the bed.

I coughed as he released his hands from my neck and I had to hold my knees, visibly shaking.

"I don't need a weak mate, Ashley. It's time to reject you" I heard him say

It was like I was hit with a bomb and I felt her wolf protest bitterly at the word, rejection.

"I, Alpha Leon Stone reject you Omega Ashley Cambrian as my mate and Luna" 

Leon said before shape-shifting and running to join the remaining wolves under the full moon.

I tried to stop him from running off when I suddenly felt a sharp striking pain in my chest and I cried in pain holding my chest. 

"So this is the rejection pain I've always heard about," I thought to myself as I tried getting off the bed only for me to fall back due to the excruciating pain.

"Help!" I weakly called out. I tried shape shifting, maybe it would help ease the pain but my wolf was too weak to do that.

"I need to get help or an antidote, something to help me out here" I kept chanting in my head as I crawled out of the bed, only to fall down weak on the cold floor.

**The woods around the Dark park

All the wolves shifted to their form as they ran in a park to the open woods. They halted as they heard the loud growl of their Alpha, as they watched him run speedily with his black-red eyes. Surprisingly he was alone, Zolan looked at Xander - the gamma of their park, but his wolf also gave a confused look as to why Leon came hunting alone.

Leon ran past them and all the wolves followed him, though they were all lagging behind as they couldn't meet up to his speed. Zolan ran the fastest, he was the only one who could keep up with Leon.

"Where is the Luna?" Zolan asked Leon, telepathically but Leon kept quiet as he kept running.

"Leon I'm asking you, where is she?" Zolan asked again, this time angrily only to be kicked far away by Leon. The remaining wolves abruptly stopped as they saw what Leon did to Zolan.

Xander quickly ran to find Zolan while Luna Becca and Bianca ran after him to find out the problem.

Zolan was able to withstand Leon's fierce push and immediately he ran back to the palace, something was definitely wrong. 

"Zolan!!" Xander called him as they met

"I'm fine Xander, go and meet Leon . Don't ask him anything, just make sure he doesn't do anything stupid " Zolan ordered before going to the palace

He shape sifted back to his human form and dusted the dirt form his body, he had a bleeding cut from his elbow.

"Screw you Leon " he cursed as he used his fingers to wipe the blood from the elbow.

"Luna Ashley! Luna!!"

Clang! Clang!!

He rushed to the kitchen where he heard the sound from.

"Luna!!" He shouted and ran to Ashley were she was.

"Help!!" She weakly muttered. Zolan looked at her closely and he saw she had just been rejected, he looked into her eyes and he understood why. Leon hated Omega's and now his fated mate was one.

Zolan grabbed a liquid portion and injected it into a syringe before injecting her arm. He smiled when he saw her breath easily.

"You're bleeding" she said to him and he looked at his elbow. "You should treat yourself as well, I'm fine now"

Ashley hated this man infront of her some hours back when he held Williams back but now she was grateful he was still around,else she might have died from the pain

"I'm fine Luna"

"No….." Ashley tried protesting when she suddenly felt doozy and then everything blacked out.

"I'm sorry Luna" Zolan said as he carried her in a bridal style to her bedroom. The setting of the room gave him an unexplainable feeling, he felt a little jealous when he saw her wedding gown and Leon's clothes on the floor.

"Did he reject her after having…." He stopped, scolding himself. Whatever they've done had nothing to do with him. He laid Ashley on the bed and went to get a bowl of water with rag, she was burning up.

After cleaning her face and arm with the cold cloth, Zolan covered her up before going back for his hunt.

Ashley weakly opened her eyes when she heard Zolan shut the door.

"I want to go home" she silently cried as she closed her eyes when she remembered how she got herself entangled with the cruel Alpha Leon.

**Flashback

Ashley had gone for a run in the woods on the night of her eighteenth year birthday only to be chased by some rogues who were hunting in the same woods. She fortunately survived through the help of her boyfriend, Bradley but Leon wasn't going to let her go since he knew she was his mate.

The following day, Leon launched an attack on the Blue park, taking all their warriors as slaves and then he demanded Ashley as his exchange gift.

Ashley accepted as she was his mate and she also had to do it to help Williams and Bradley else Alpha Elvis would sell her off to a slave trade. 

Marrying Leon was her best bet but now it seems it was her worse decision ever.
