chapter 61:Gabby’s POV

I stared at the dead flower next to the full bloomed one, completely dazed at what just happened, I reached out my hand tentatively and touched the dead petals only for them to come back to life which baffled me more than the first time happened.

"Discovering new powers I see."A voice sounded breaking me off my reverie, it was Andros. I turned to look at him with a smile, "What even is that called?"

"The resurrection power, I guess." I answered with a chuckle as I got on my feet, "I recently just discovered it." I sighed, "I have water, fire, telekinesis, healing and now this."

"Must be cool having those I guess." He said rubbing his hand over his face and my attention was caught.

"What happened to you?" I asked him as I looked at the purple bruises.

"Well, your mate happened." He said before quickly adding, "I deserved it. That day you were rescued and in heat." I blushed in embarrassmnent at his words, "I advanced towards you when my self control snapped and Lycus got in my wav. So he decided to rough me up for going near his mate." I laughed a bit as he talked, trying to envisage Aiden beating Andros up cause of me and my heart swooned at his protectiveness.

"It's not funny." He groaned which heightened my laughter. After the laughter died down we both stayed quite just staring at the greenery before us

"I am really happy for you Gabby." He said breaking the hush.

I looked at him and he continued, " You came here bruised and broken. Now look at you still standing strong and being admired." His eyes stared at me in admiration, "Being the luna everyone wants to associate with."

"Thank you." I said appreciating him, "You have never really told me how exactly you came about here I finally brought the topic up after being so inquisitive for far too long. I had always wondered if there was more to Andros than what he was showing.

"The truth is I do not remember." He said looking away from me and I could tell that he was either lying or trying to remember was hurting, "Anytime I try to remember, it just comes off blank."

"Hmmm,

"What are you going to do when the council member's find out about your powers?" He asked.

"How did you know the state of my situation?" I asked shocked as he wasn't present in the office when we held the meeting.

"Eavesdropping is a fine art." He winked and I punched him lightly in the arm. That was very rude of you."

"It wasn't intentional." He defended himself, "So what's the answer to my question?"

"I don't know what I will do." I ran my fingers through my hair twisting the strands, "I just hope they do not find out before the trial." I didn't need to explain the trial to him, everyone knew what had happened and how Alpha Titan had treated me, "I hope everything goes well."

"You will be fine Gabby." He said and I forced myself to believe in his words just like I always did when Aiden reassured me of everything being okay. Nothing could go wrong, I forced the feeling of dread that I had in me away, Nothing will go wrong, I repeated to myself again dismissing the dreadful feeling. I stood in front of the mirror admiring the black lacy set of lingerie I had on, "I think I love this one." I said to Willow who was on the couch sipping away at a cup of coke.

"It's fucking perfect." She grinned and I took in my look again. A black lacy but sheer bra with very thin straps clung to my small perky boobs and then a high waist lace panty still black covered my lower area, it was chick, comfortable and still sexy. Willow called the shop attendant in and the lingerie I had picked was now bagged along with several others which I agreed to take after much coercion from Willow, in her words 'A girl can never have just one set of lingerie, it's like having just one neck piece After the mall we got to the pack house and I dropped my purchases where I was sure Aiden would never find them. I played with Kate and then supervised the decoration of the ball room for Aiden's birthday. After all that, I resumed training with Helena, developing my powers and trying to become more of a fighter. She exempted knife art and blindfold fighting because she didn't think that I needed them. I was cool with it, after all I was too scared to undergo all that. After a very long day, I retired to bed trying to fall asleep peacefully with Aiden's arm around my waist, drawn really close to him with his head leaned on my propped shoulder. I tried to sleep which was hard as the dreadful feeling I thought I had pushed aside came back settling in me. Don't overthink! I snapped at myself before pushing the feeling aside again and trying to fall asleep. After sometime, I fell into deep slumber embracing the land of blank dreams.
