Chapter 8 : Ultimate Lie

Alexander nodded and continued, " What about the meat ? Did we buy any magical beasts to raise ?".

Watson did not know why Alexander was asking this, he thought, there were no meat to eat, so he immediately said," Young Master, don't worry we bought some fire tail chickens and cloud pigs. Young Master, don't have to worry about no having meat to eat ".

Alexander did not know whether to laugh or cry. It's seems like the previous Alexander personality was not that good. He only wanted to ask about animals that bred quickly but Watson thought he was worried about not having meat to eat.

The reason why Alexander asked about this was because he preparing to first raise this type of magical beasts when the system levels up to level two.

At this moment, Julia and Rose walked in with few plates of food. The food on the plates were much simpler than Alexander's.

Alexander looked at his food, there was a plate of rice, three eggs, a piece of meat and prickled vegetables. With their current situation, his food was quite luxurious.

He looked at the other's food ; there was only black bread and some vegetables. There were no meat or eggs, this made his heart ache, but he did not say anything. He just lowered his and ate his food in silence and remembered this moment in heart. Alexander swore that he definitely improve their situation.

When Alexander finished eating, Watson and the others had already finished eating . There were all standing there and looking at him.

After eating, Julia and Rose quickly cleared the plates and brought up a pot of tea.

Watson poured a cup for Alexander. Alexander tool a sip, it tasted like coffee. He couldn't help but nod his in appreciation. He picked up the teapot poured a cup for both Watson and the other two men, Gilbert and Kane . Then he pointed at the chair beside him and said, " Grandpa Watson, sit down I have something to discuss with you."

Watson quickly said, " No, Young Master, this servant will stand."

Alexander stood up and pressed Watson on the chair, " Grandpa Watson, you're from my grandfather's generation. You are like an elder to me you watched me grow up. This time the Frost family is in trouble. If not for you, my life might have been in danger. Please sit, I really have something to discuss with you."

At this moment, Julia and Rose had already come back from the kitchen.

Alexander then motioned Julia and the others sit down.

Watson was stunned by Alexander's question but he knew these things, so he immediately said, " Yes Young Master, these vegetables you just mentioned are one of the main crops cultivated by most farmers. But these types of crops are the lowest type of vegetables in the entire Azure Wind World, but Young Master why are you asking about this ? ".

Alexander took a deep breath to hide his excitement. He slowly clenched his hand and his eyes flashed with determination. Alexander raised his head and looked at Watson and the others who were looking at him in confusion.

Alexanderopened his mouth and said, " Grandpa Watson can I trust you guys ?."

Alexander looked directly into Watson and the eyes, he wanted to see their reaction.

Watson immediately stood up and bowed his head and said in a solemn voice, " Don't worry Young Master you can trust us, we have been with the Frost family for many decades, so you can trust. I swear that what ever that will be discussed here would not be disclosed to another soul."

Julia and the others quickly stood up.Julia immediately said, " Yes, Young Master you can trust us completely. We will never have the thought of betraying you, I swear by the Frost ancestors name."

Rose and the others didn't say anything but the solemn and determination they had on their faces showed that they share the same thought.

Alexander stared at them in silence. The reason why he asked such a question was not because he did not trust them but what he was about to tell them concerned his life and death. Therefore, he didn't want he was about to tell them to spread outside.

" Grandpa Watson, it's not that I'm questioning your loyalty. However, what I'm about to tell you guys concerned my life and death, even determining the survival of the Frost family."

Alexander said in a solemn voice.

Watson and the others were stunned. What was it that their Young Master want tell and it even concerned the survival of the Frost family. Nevertheless they solemnly nodded their heads and said," Don't worry Young Master, we will not disclosed anything and if we break this oath, may the heavens strike us lightening."

Alexander seriously looked at Watson and the others, " Grandpa Watson, what if I told you that I have a way to turned the Great Desolate Region into a fertile land which can be used to cultivate crops ". Alexander threw a bombshell at Watson.

Silence, the entire dinning room turned to pin drop silence, only the hurried breathing and gulping of saliva could be heard.

Watson, Julia and the others stood there like wooden dummies, their expression at the moment was quite funny. Their mouth was wide open that a goose egg could fit inside. They had an exaggerated look on their faces.

Because what Alexander had just revealed to them was unconventional and unheard of.

The Great Desolate Region was a land of death and nothing could grow on it. Even plants that could survive on deserts could not survive in this land. For countless years, the nine empires had been sending experts to find a way to revive the land but was not successful.

So Alexander telling them that, he had a way to turned this land of death into a fertile land again, came as a surprise for them.

Alexander knew the information he had just revealed to them was overwhelming and they couldn't completely comprehend the news.

Watson's body was trembling, he then pointed his trembling figure at Alexander and said, " Young Master is what you just said true ? ".

" Yes Young Master, please don't joke with us, my old heart can't take it". Julia echoed from the side. Rose and others nodded their heads to show that they have the same thought.

Alexander knew that they couldn't believe him.

After all who could believe that a land of death that even Forbidden Mages couldn't revive. Therefore could be cured by him who was once a prodigal and incompetent son of a Noble.

" I'm telling the truth, if you don't believe then forget it." Alexander signed in his heart and said.

Watson was staring at Alexander, " Young Master, it's not that we don't believe you but this have never been head of. You know for centuries the nine empires had been sending experts to the Great Desolate Region to research on the land to find a way to revive it but all was for naught and how are you going to revive the land ?".

" Actually, Grandpa Watson, while I was unconscious, a mysterious old man appeared in my dreams and gave me a treasure that cam turned any land of death into fertile land".

Alexander lied with a straight face. Alexander couldn't possibly tell them that he had a system inside his mind and even if he told them, they could probably mistook as mad person. Watson was stunned, then his eyes glistened in excitement, " Is it true Young Master, you had received such a powerful treasure from the old man but why I have never heard of such a treasure?".

" That is why Grandpa Watson, I was telling you guys if I can trust, if this information is spread to our enemies then we won't know how we died ". Alexander said.

Watson straighten his back and said," Young Master, don't worry not another soul will hear about what we had just discussed". Then turned his head and said to Julia and the others " You should know how important this is to the survival and revival of the Frost family".

Julia glared at Watson, " I know how important this is, I'm not that stupid as to betray the Young Master and the Frost Family".

Rose also echoed from the side," Don't worry Young Master, I won't tell a soul about this information. What we discussed here would remain here".

Gilbert and Kane immediately followed, " We will protect this secret to our graves".
