It's Time You know The Truth

Lydia, Damien, Astarte and Hades were seated in Zeus' office trying to think of ways to stop Lilith and the archangels. Damien had noticed that neither Hades nor Astarte had left Lydia's side all that time, he raised an eyebrow confused as to why it was that way but decided against speaking about it. "We have to do something. All of us!" Lydia exclaimed looking at the three Greek gods with panic written all over her face. "I agree but first I need to know who saw Lilith last before she turned into an archangel." Zeus clarified and Hades cleared his throat and spoke: " Lilith came to me and asked me to help her torture, Lydia..." Astarte gasped and suddenly hugged Lydia which shocked both Lydia and Damien but they both stayed silent. Hades took a deep breath and continued " I refused right away and warned her that there would be consequences if she tries anything but that's about it." Zeus nodded and then gestured towards Damien, silently asking him about Lilith. "Lilith was acting very territorial, she made me lose my temper and shift into my demonic form, if it wasn't for Lydia she wouldn't have been alive she always talked about ruling the realm but I never thought she would go this far." Damien shrugged and looked away, one could tell that he felt guilty but it wasn't his fault. "You mean you gained control when Lydia called out to you?" Zeus asked raising an eyebrow and for the first time in that room Lydia spoke " I have been actually meaning to ask you this, why was I able to command Damien. My friend Alex told me that no one except for Hades or anyone from his bloodline could command a demon, so how was I able to do that," she asked curiosity lacing her voice and features. Zeus took a deep breath and gave Hades and Astarte a pointed look and both of them looked at each other with guilt, "Well!" Lydia exclaimed waiting for a response. Astarte sighed and said, " It's time we tell you the truth." Lydia had never been so heartbroken in her life, her tears were flowing freely at this point. "How could you do that to me?" she chocked as processed the fact that she was the child of two Greek gods, Astarte and Hades. What hurt her, even more, was that she was never had the chance to know her father. Damien stood in one corner waiting for the family drama to be over but deep down he felt bad for Lydia because she never knew her family and found out about them on the brink of an archangel invasion. Astarte was dejected when she saw her daughter break down but was quite surprised when she got up hugged Hades. For a moment Hades stood their frozen in shock but soon enough hugged her back. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." she kept on repeating as she broke down in her father's arms. When everyone finally composed themselves, Lydia cleared her throat and once again spoke. "I apologise for my emotional behaviour, the news was a little overwhelming for me but I think I know how we have a chance against the archangels." Damien raised an eyebrow and asked, "What is that exactly?" "We work together, the angels and demons need to unite and fight against our common enemy the archangels," Lydia responded with a steady voice and a powerful dark aura about her, the demon inside of her egging to be out. Damien smirked before bowing in front of her effectively shocking her. "As you wish my queen." he said and Lydia looked back at her parents who nodded at her with approval. "Before anything, I need to know how to tap my demon side out?" she asked mostly from her father. "You don't have to, you are the hybrid and will be more powerful with both ides of you acting out equally," he responded and she smiled at him. "Well, I suppose it's time to kick some archangel ass," Damien exclaimed which made Lydia roll her eyes but she smiled and nodded nonetheless.

"This is a terrible idea!" Lydia hissed as she and Damien parked their jeep near Hell, everyone had been made aware of the situation and they all immediately agreed because the queen of both realms had ordered them. Now they were executing Damien's plan which was to disguise as archangels and get information. "Well have you got any better idea," he remarked and she rolled her eyes, as soon as Damien opened the door to get out Lydia grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "You, you're not going in there, I am." she declared and this made Damien look at her with surprise. "So what's your plan huh?" he asked amused. Lydia thought for a half a second before smirking and replying "to distract him." "How, by punching him in the face." he laughed while gesturing at the guard. The look on Lydia's face was pure annoyance, she mocked laugh and said "Ha Ha! very funny, by talking to him." Damien rolled his eyes and opened his mouth to argue again which made Lydia scoff. "Well, show me, what you're opening with." he insisted and Lydia looked like she was going to murder him, honestly he didn't know why did she propose to work together in the first place. "Dead silence..." Damien analysed and then added, "Got something better than that." Lydia took a deep breath before leaning in and whispering "I'm thinking about punching you in the face." this made Damien shut up and lean back into his seat, Lydia did a 'Finally' gesture before getting out of the car and heading towards the guards. Damien sharpened his hearing abilities so he was aware of the situation at all times. He shuddered when he heard Lydia greet the guard in a sickly sweet voice, he didn't know why but he felt almost angry at thought of Lydia flirting with another person. He knew that what he and Lydia had was special, he felt the connection since freshman year but he could never pinpoint to what it was. He was shocked to see that the guard melted almost immediately and began looking at Lydia dreamily as she giggled and went on with how she became an archangel and wanted to help Lilith and Micheal." All was going seemingly good until the guard started to touch Lydia inappropriately, that was the last straw for Damien and he quickly got out of the car and teleported behind the guard who had been punched in the face by Lydia but before he could attack her Damien snapped his neck and he fell to the floor dead. "Are you ok?" he asked, "Yeah, I'm fine thanks for your help but I could have handled myself." was the reply and it made Damien scoff " Even if I thought you could I would still never leave out like that." Lydia felt butterflies hearing that and it made her smile slightly, she shook her head and gestured at the front doors indicating to go in. Damien got rid of the body and joined Lydia at the entrance of hell, he was quite surprised o see that she had grabbed his hand but kept quiet a ghost of a smile gracing his lip. Both of them entered Hell praying that they don't get recognized, as on as they arrived in the main area all stares were on them. Damien gave Lydia's hand an encouraging squeeze, it was showtime!
