Let the tournament begin!!!

Back at the stadium,

"Ladies and gentlemen!!!"

"Are you ready!!!"

A middle aged man, with flawlessly white wavy hair, an average build and handsome features said with passion that made the crowd go wild as he appeared on the floating stage.

"Haaaaaaa!!!!"

The crowd screamed with fervour as the stadium was rocked to its core.

"Tonight marks the start of the battle heart tournament, this shall be the time for our competitors to show overwhelming strength or face a pain full defeat and either shine or die a star"

He then went on to address the various powerhouses, their supporters and the organisers to honour them.

"Now to officially mark the start of the tournament, allow me to call on to the stage, my assistant..... hostess Linda!"

A gorgeous lady appeared beside him, like a fairy in pink flora gown.

"Thank you host Phillip, it's a pleasure to be here... shall we do the honours?"

She said as she gracefully landed on the stage.

"Why not, we wouldn't want to keep our audience waiting" host Philip flashed a charming smile.

Soon the energy around them surged as a purple glow surrounded Linda, and a red glow surrounded Philip.

The energy gathered around their index finger before they shot it out.

Silence descended as the whole stadium watched the two stream of light travel above them.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Bang!!!

As the fire works exploded, the whole stadium erupted with cheers once again.

The fireworks created the symbol of the battle heart tournament a purple Heart with a red sword through it.

"he, they actually used this..."

"As expected of the owner of the battle heart tournament, he is full of surprises"

While the audience thinks that those were fire works, any expert could tell that there were treasures filled with energy.

"Interesting" Josh smiled.

"Whoa, the battle heart tournament is starting let's go home and watch it"

"Hey look, the fire works isn't fading"

"Tch as if you don't know the for the duration of the battle heart tournament, those fire works will mysteriously remain there until the tournament ends"

"Really?"

"Yes some also call it light of blessing as it will come and surround the winner, now don't delay me from watching the first matches!!!"

"Ok...ok"

"Now before we begin, we shall state the rules that governs this tournament" on the floating platform, Philip said and Linda continued.

Rule 1: one can use any thing to fight except with those extremely forbidden items.

Rule 2: killing is strictly prohibited in the tournament.

Rule 3: Is that you can only let your opponent admit defeat or leave them in unconscious.

"And the last rule....." she took a pause to Clear her throat and build suspense before saying

"it's to obey the first three and any other upcoming rules" she concluded.

"yep! also as a result of the numerous participants and their various power levels, various realms have been created to distinguish them, the realms are A, B, C, D, E, F and G with A realm being the strongest and G realm the weakest" philip said.

"The realms you belong to will be sent to your Holo watch" said Linda.

Soon a beep sounded on their watch as all participants discovered the realm they were assigned to.

"The G realm has 559 participants, the F realm has 1,000 participants, the E realm has 2,499 participants, the D realm has 3,800 participants, the C realm has 4,047 participants, the B realm has 6690 participants and the A realm has 8900 participants" host Philip said with vigor.

"Don't worry people from different realms can't be matched with each other so you don't have to worry about fighting and unkillable boss and loosing your reward, so do your best!" he concluded with a thumbs up and a bright smile.

"First round is the elimination match, there are really no other restrictions in this one and only the remaining people left in the stadium will qualify!" Linda said with a smile.

When the participants heard this they all revealed various expressions.

'Well doesn't this means if one could eliminate every body they win?' This was the thought on every body mind.

But how can it be so easy? many calculative minds where able to see that this two hosts want them to believe this and make them let their guard down.

'Guys be careful'

Josh told his team in a whisper and they responded with a firm nod.

"Alright without further a do....."

Philip said as he waved his hand and the whole stadium started to transform!

Seven large separate fields appeared below their floating stage, along with Seven screens but they were white not showing anything.

To view what was displayed on the screens one needed to use normal energy, or mental energy to see the battle and one important thing about this was that this would make them feel like they were at the first row.

Well if one didn't know how to use energy they would still be able to use the screen as long as they use the provided tools or do not engage their energy at all.

One could also use the 'VWW', that is the 'virtual world web' or the WWW, world wide web to watch.

Any way if you were using any platform, one would notice the views are getting higher and higher.

"Technology is sweet, right?"

"Yep, I heard it was a pain to view one match in the past."

"Hey, do you know that before the cataclysm, people used to watch things called sports?"

"Yeah, something called...em..football?"

"I think we can find some of those stories in the museums and some history guys like practicing them"

"Tch, so lame... people of the past really had nothing better to do, poor ancestors...."

This last words made this group fall silent as they remembered earth of old.

Just a regular place with regular people, until the cataclysm occurred and it turned everything humans knew upside down, those times can be said to be the dark ages for humanity.

When humans were able to settle, we discovered that we where no longer at the top of the food chain, but still we struggled and were able to dominate again, but still human powers were still limited in areas like Africa, Australia where nature rules with an iron fist.

Around those fields, large barriers were erected surrounding them, this would protect anyone from stray attacks, and also make the participants from other realms be unable to help each other.

Shadow, Red and purple was in the A realm, Yellow and Black were in the C realm, Gold and Sliver were in the E realm and Green was in the F realm.

This was the realm that their identity were placed.

And if it was observed really well, one would discover that that were placed in a more difficult realm to eliminate them on time, or to contain them.

Their normal identities on the other hand were placed a little differently with William and Maeve in the A realm, Josh, Alistair and Aimee in the C realm, Gerry and Sliva in the F realm and Imogen in the G realm.

portals appeared every where as people stepped in side it.

His team portals appeared and they left after giving him a nod.

He smiled as he looked at a place and saw clones of their normal identities enter a portal.

Whoosh!!!

Hum!!!

A white portal appeared in front of him, but before he could step into it, his eyes flashed with complicated runes and returned to normal.

"Mmm, nice"

He smiled as he stepped onto the portal with a wide grin under his mask.
