Gamora ducks to avoid Midnight's spear and punches her in the stomach.

Midnight loses her concentration for a moment and Gamora takes advantage of that to give her a flying kick, which sends Midnight crashing to the ground.

"We have to go!" Gamora yelled at Peter Quill and the others.

They nod and start running while they keep shooting at the Chitauri.

Gamora also doesn't wait for Midnight to recover and follows them.

"Damn you, do you think I'm going to let you get away?" Midnight yelled, but at that moment she became aware of a small circular object next to her.

Feeling a bad premonition, she gets up and walks away.

But after only a few steps, the object explodes in a massive sea of flames that sends Midnight flying and kills some Chitauri.

Once the explosion ends, Midnight can be seen emerging from some rubble.

"Cough, cough, damn... that woman got away" Midnight said as she coughed up blood.

After recovering, she continued her mission.

Minutes Before

A few Blocks from Gamora's group Location

Ronan grunted as he climbed out of the rubble of a destroyed building.

He never imagined that a machine could become so powerful.

And that made him wonder where Gamora had gotten it.

Ronan's face twitches as he sees the robot land in front of him.

"Shit, you are a very annoying piece of junk, once I crushed you, I will destroy your master" Ronan said coldly.

The Sentinel doesn't answer and starts running towards him.

Using his Universal Weapon, Ronan attacks the Sentinel.

But under his shocked gaze, he feels a force that deflects his weapon, causing it to miss and the Sentinel to throw a punch at him that sends him crashing into a building and dropping his Universal Weapon.

Ronan stands up quickly and gives it a death glare.

But a powerful blast of cosmic energy hits him and hits the building again.

In the rubble, Ronan's face turns ugly at that humiliation not once, but several times he's been beaten like it's nothing.

"This is because of the above" the culprit behind that energy blast said.

Looking up, Ronan sees Captain Marvel floating in the air.

"Vers... long time no see, you seem to be enjoying your life" Ronan said sarcastically.

Captain Marvel frowns and lands softly next to the Sentinel.

"This guy talks a lot, let's crush him Big Guy" Captain Marvel said to the Sentinel as she looked at Ronan, who for the first time felt a shiver run down his spine.

Increasing its speed, the Sentinel appeared at Ronan's side and threw a punch at him, sending him flying several feet off the ground.

Captain Marvel was already expecting that and sent a powerful energy blast at Ronan, who like a meteor impacted several buildings.

At that moment, Gamora's spaceship appeared above them.

The back opened and a smiling Peter Quill appeared, waving at them.

The Sentinel quickly boarded the spaceship, followed by Captain Marvel.

Once everyone was inside, the spaceship closed its door and at high speed left the place disappearing into the distance.

The Kree forces were regrouping for further pursuit, but now they could only wait as their leader Ronan was communicating with the Supreme Intelligence.

Ronan is currently in the main spaceship looking at the holographic image of a woman looking at him.

"You have failed again Ronan, you know better than anyone the importance of this Stone for the genetic evolution of our species, I hope you don't disappoint me a third time" the woman in the hologram said.

This is the sovereign and maximum leader of the Kree race.

The Supreme Intelligence.

"I know, you don't have to worry, I'm definitely not going to let you down" Ronan replied tilting his head a little, in his eyes there was a sinister gleam that the Supreme Intelligence did not catch.

"Okay, I'll leave it to you" the Supreme intelligence said satisfied with Ronan's attitude.

Ending the call, Ronan was silent for a few seconds before starting his search again.

He wasn't worried about where they went to hide since the Kree have a lot of spies all over the universe, so he can find them without any problems.

Proxima Midnight's situation was much the same, as she had to contact Ebony Maw in order to ask for instruction.

Who told her to do her best to get the Power Stone.

Proxima Midnight ended the call and also led the Chitauri force in pursuit.

She used a different way to track them.

It was a tracking device specially created to track the energy signatures of Infinity Stones even if they are stored in places that isolate energy.

Meanwhile, in outer space.

Having escaped from Knowhere, everyone who boarded Gamora's spaceship relaxed.

The Legion Sentinel was currently down due to using the Berserker Protocol.

Gamora gently patted the Sentinel as she was really grateful that Alex sent it, as without it she wouldn't have gotten out of a lot of trouble unscathed.

"You said that you have someone you trust who can solve our situation, right?" Peter Quill asked Gamora with a bit of curiosity.

"Yeah, and you also said that he will pay us very well, right?" Rocket added as if he was afraid that they would forget about that matter.

"I hope he's not like the Collector" Captain Marvel said with a frown.

"Don't worry, he is someone I would trust with my life. And yes, he will pay us very well" Gamora said with a small smile.

"So, where to?" Captain Marvel asked.

With a calm look, Gamora answers:

"Towards the planet Earth"
