Miri who was there since the start had notice the knight's rudeness and the emissary's failure to reprimand his subordinate. And when the knight had finally chosen to attack she decided to deal with him herself.

She charged at the knight without any weapon, the knight at first was surprised at the young child charging towards him but it was too late to stand down, all he could do was take care of the little witch quickly before facing Lucianne. Yes the knight was way over his head.

Immediately Miri got in his range he swung his sword forward trying to cut off one of Miri's hands but the young girl was quick to dodge and counter with an attack of her own, which the knight was barely able to dodge.

He was shocked and it seems he had underestimated his opponent a bit. He went in again and this time with multiple wings but no matter how fast he swung, the girl was faster than he was. He became frustrated.

"How can a knight be bested by armless witch? She's not even using her magic, is she toying with me?" Alas the young child he was fighting couldn't use any magic. After hitting nothing but air for some minutes he changed his approach and studied Miri's movements.

As she ducked one of his attacks again, he grabbed her hand so she could not escape.

"I've got you now bitch!" he screamed like a mad man ready to cut the young child down.

But before his sword got to her Fiona stepped in and he stopped midair.

" I can't move he protested, you bitch!" he roared at Miri thinking she was responsible but the young child only fell on the floor thinking, as her life almost ended a second ago.

"Are you alright Miri" Fiona asked yes aunt Fi thanks

"What were you thinking?" a voice roared from behind make everyone present shake with fear as Lucianne made her way to her daughter checking if she was hurt and healing every wound she could find on Miri's body.

"I'm fine mom" Miri said. Are you sure Lucianne asked in which Miri nodded in response.

After she confirmed her child was ok the queen of witches turned towards the one whom almost took her daughter away from her.

"You foolish knight, your life is already forfeit" she said as she faced Fiona and said "release him". Fiona without asking any questions released the knight and Lucianne stood on front of him.

Despite being released the knight somehow was unable to move.

He looked at Lucianne and she could see he was already a living corpse as the feeling she was giving, was one that made breathing difficult for him. In all his life as a knight, he had never known that level of fear before.

"My lady, I apologize for Sir Damien's behavior…" Larry tried to apologize for his friend but he failed

"Save it" Lucianne said not letting Larry finish

"If you were really sorry then you would have cautioned him from the start not when things have gotten to this level".

"Now you have an hour to leave my castle or else I'll send your heads back to Chaster myself, as for you, she said looking at the knight that almost killed her child and placed her index finger on his head before chanting 'incinerate'." Immediately his body turned to ash leaving only charred bones.

Larry Kain and the other Knight saw this and immediately made their way out of the castle before the same fate befalls them.

After few more minutes of checking if her daughter was alright Lucianne called on Fiona and Kim. The castle's witches were divided into ten covens consisting of twenty to Thirty witches per coven.

Each coven has its own leader and Kim is the battle commander and Lucianne is the paper work and administrative commander.

The witches had been receiving a lot of reports on beasts and demon rampaging in various locations around the world. Although, they had help from various branches of the council. The castle itself was created for this reason, so the others could focus on grooming the next generation of witches and other things that needed to be done. Right now seven squads had been sent out to deal with the various rampaging Beasts and other missons, leaving them short of people. Although new the recruits were coming, they won't be sending them on missions for the first six months of their arrival. They still had to undergo some training and learn some drills before they start taking on missions.

Now that another report on rampaging demons was made, Lucianne decided to visit the demons and ask why beasts are that should be kept under their watch are busy causing havoc everywhere. She didn't want to leave but she had to fulfill her duties.

"Kim, when Samir comes back let him and his men rest for a while so you can take your coven to Chaster and assist them. But, if they give you any form of trouble regarding today's event, feel free to leave them for dead" the queen of witches said to her deputy.

"And Fiona, make sure you keep an eye on Miri so she doesn't do anything stupid again". The queen of witches looked at her daughter with eyes of an eagle.

"Also once I leave and Kim also leaves after Samir's, arrival tell him I said you are in charge, I don't want any bickering from you two that will lead to unnecessary destruction of castle properties. This time, if you break anything you'll buy it. "Is that understood"?

"Yes my Lady" Fiona replied with a satisfied look.

After giving her daughter a good bye hug Lucianne walked in the mirror of Ibi and walked straight into council headquarters, where she would be transported to the demon world.
