Chapter 6

The next day I woke up early to make Ashton a good breakfast.

I cooked eggs, bacon and corn beef because Aunt Carmen said it was Ashton's favorite, right after I cooked it, he came downstairs.

"Good morning, have breakfast" I greeted with a smile but he just made me suffer

"Don't smile at me it looks so plastic" I just stopped and went to the living room to wait.

"You! Come here" I looked at him with a frown.

"I said come here, are you deaf? I have something to say" I was afraid of his voice so I came closer to him.

"I just want to clear things to you. Don't expect things to me especially romantic. Because in the first place I don't like you and your existence only makes me hate my life so please don't ever expect. Are we clear?" I just nodded as my response to him. It stabs me a thousand times inside me and just crying inside my head.

He immediately left and I ate and twisted just like yesterday, nothing to do so I went out to water the garden and saw the cat I gave last night.

"He's cute" I was surprised because a male voice suddenly spoke.

He is handsome and attractive but Ashton is even more handsome.

"By the way I'm Nyko how about you what's your name?" he promised smiling and held out his hand.

"Trinity, how long have you been here? Is the cat yours?" we shook hands and immediately parted ways.

"Yes, I don't lock him up so that he can make friends, besides, I'm often not at home, so I just let him go"

"What's his name?" I said and looked back at the cat.

"Queen" he promised sparingly and smiled at me again.

"What a nice name" I smiled and started talking to him.

Until our conversation was extended at four o'clock in the afternoon, we said goodbye to each other.

He is such a gentlemen, his girlfriend is lucky because she has a man who loves her very much.

Nyko is almost perfect meanwhile mine is?

I was still cooking when Ashton came home, he sat in the living room when someone suddenly rang the doorbell, I immediately went out to see who it was, I saw Nyko in his pilot's uniform.

"Trin, I'm sorry if I leave Queen with you for 3 days because I'll be gone" he told me then gave it to Queen.

"I'm fine, I'll take care of the Queen, take care, goodnight" I promised with a smile, she also greeted me and then left.

I was surprised when I bumped into something.

His cold stares and raging eyes give me feelings of hope that he is jealous.

He grabbed my wrist and started talking.

"By the way, Trin, who is your man?" he uttered with such furious eyes

"Nyko is just my friend, I met him because of this cat because he's cute" I promised trying to smile even though I was already hurting from his touch.

"So your friend? What's with the endearment?" he asked intrigued while still holding me tightly.

"He wants to be just a friend" I excused so Ashton tightened his grip as if I was going to break a bone.

"Friend, what are you going to flirt with? Are you still not satisfied with your husband" he said that broke me into a million pieces.

I was moved to tears by what he told me, I tried to remove my arm from him but he was stronger.

"When you flirt I will sue you" he threatened then let go of me and immediately left me sitting on the floor while hugging the cat.

My heart hurts, a few minutes have passed but I still haven't gotten up from where I was sitting.

I lost my appetite so I decided to rest.

I immediately went to the room but immediately I heard something as if he was talking to someone.

Out of curiosity I leaned to his bedroom's door and listened to whom he was talking to.

"Yes babe I already ate dinner... oh yes ... I love you

... just my maid... no she's not my type... ok ok goodnight babe" he said with his sweet tone and smile.

I covered my mouth and cried because of what I found out.

I didn't realize that I had reached my room with Queen.

I immediately hugged the cat to ease the pain and tears that kept on falling.

"You know, Queen, it's painful because he keeps telling me how to flirt, but he's the one doing it" I burst out of rage and pain.

I just kept crying until I fell asleep.

The next day my eyes widened when I woke up and started cooking breakfast as if I was floating but I just continued what I was doing and drank coffee while cooking.

"Where is my coffee?" he uttered that made me realize for a moment of spacing out.

I didn't realize that he was already downstairs so I immediately moved to make him coffee.

"What happened to your eyes did you cry?" I just passed him and prepared food, he frowned at me as I approached it.

"What happened why did you cry!?" he shouted with frustration and anger.

I sighed and smiled for a moment to ease my tears that wanted to burst now in front of him.

"Because I was watching a tragic movie last night that made me cry" I answered sparingly and went to the living room to clean up first, while cleaning I noticed that he hadn't been removed yet.

"Please wash my laundries upstairs, they are already outside the room" he said and left for the office.

I eat first before starting to get busy with housework, I just noticed that I'm always haggard and don't have time to tidy up.

After doing the laundry, cleaning, fixing, etc., I fell asleep on the sofa after doing all my chores.

I was distracted when I heard a giggle on the stairs and I saw Ashton kissing a girl and I immediately got up to see if I could get my tears out.

I didn't realize that I was outside crying and fighting the heartache.

I didn't notice that Queen was already following me, I just hugged Nyko's cute cat, I hope Nyko comes home, I want someone to talk to.

I was going to call Cleia because she was busy with the company she was working for, so I took a deep breath.

"Queen, this isn't the life I want as a husband, I accept that he doesn't love me, but I hope he gave me a chance, right, to make him feel that this is just the beginning, but the pain will soon be painful" I stopped at once when I cried I was stunned by the beautiful stars.

I hope my heart will be at peace like that and my life will not be chaotic.

After crying and easing the pain, I stood up and fed Queen then turned the mess so I could rest.

"Where did you go, why are your eyes puffy" Ashton said when we met on the stairs.

"I cried again because I was watching a tragic movie, it's just so sad that made me cry a lot"

"Where did you watch? Your phone is in the living room" he frowned and said I wasn't looking at him because I didn't feel like talking to him right now.

"I'm watching TV" I took my phone first before going up I just passed him while his frown remained.

Again, while walking upstairs, my tears start to fall again so as my throbbing broken heart....
