Christine: Ladies, our short 3 days' vacay on this Friday is it a go or no?

Nat: Yes, it's a go. All of us will go but I'll finish my work around 8 am on Friday.

Karol: Bitch! We have to go no matter what. I've applied 2 days off just for our vacay. Which is a must needed break for us

Nic: Hahaha, I beat you, Karol. I've applied 3 days off on that day.

Christine: Me to Nicollete! 3 days off. Oh yea, on that morning let's have breakfast before we head back home, k?

Karol: I'm in!

Nice: Sure. It's been a while since we eat breakfast together.

Nat: Okay! I need a good breakfast after long nightshift hours.

Nat: Ladies can we go in the afternoon on that day? Cause I'll clock out at 8 am.

Nic: Yes, of course, we can do that.

Christine: Sure.

Karol: Why not it's our off days and we got time.

Karol: My bitches!

Karol: Who's gonna bring us to the airport on that day?

Nic: ME! I'll drive, don't worry about it. I got us cover.

Nat: I'm okay with anything as long as you pick my ass up back home from my nightshift on Friday.

Christine: I'll pick you up on Friday morning Nat for breakfast.

Karol: Wait! Christine, take me too because I got nightshift on that day so pick me up too.

Christine: Okay, both of you wait at the main entrance. I'll pick you up there.

Nat: Okay.

Karol: Okay.

Nic: I'll be waiting at home Christine so come and pick your princess up yea before picking them both up.

Christine: Princess my ass! Be ready on time or imma just drive off leaving your ass behind.

Nic: *laughing emoji* *Kiss face*

As soon as they put down their phone from their 10-minute break they straight back to their usual busy hectic schedule.

Their days went by like normal routine in general, medical wards have a morning ward round starting at 8.30/9 am. Surgical wards have a morning ward round as well as an afternoon ward round which usually starting at 4 pm.

It went day by day the same routine and route that all 3 of them taking except for Nat as she works at the mortuary.

After the text Christine and Nic began to feel like something big going to happen as the feeling become heavy and restless they quickly remind themselves that they have other work to do.

So in true nature of them, they bury themselves by doing extra check and rounds on the patient just to get rid of the feeling which still lingers on them.

-3 days before the commotion-

Nat: Ladies, I suddenly feel uneasy.

Nat: I don't know how to describe it but it feels like something big is going to happen.

Christine: Omg goosebumps. I felt the same yesterday.

Nic: Double goosebumps! Same goes to me too yesterday. Now that you say that I feel the uneasy creeping up on my body.

Karol: Ladies remain calm, it's probably nothing, just your feeling play tricks on you.

Nat: But I can't tho, Idk why I really can't.

Karol: Nat do you want to come to my wing now and have a tea with me?

Nat: I want too but I have a new body coming in like less than 10 minutes and I have to examine it right on the spot.

Karol: Okay then I'll send someone to give you an energy bar. Most probably your sugar level drop that's why you feel uneasy.

Nat: No. No need, I have some in my bag. I'll eat it later but thank you for your offer *kiss face*

Nic: Eat it before you start to examine the body okay.

Nat: Okay *kiss face*

Christine: Yea Karol's right probably your sugar level drop and it's nothing, Natalie. Try to relax. Take big and small breaths. Breath in and out.

Nic: Yes Nat, Breath in and breath out. Nothing's bad going to happen k.

Karol: Don't think too much. Remember we are going for our short vacay like less than 3 days. So happy thought k. *kiss face*

Nat: Okay if you ladies say so. Love you! *kiss face*

Christine: *Kiss face*

Karol: Love you too! *heart*

Nic: Love you too Nat! *love eyes*

Nat still has the uneasy feelings going thru her body but she ignores it and listens to her sisters all she needs is to remain calm and take some energy bar. Meanwhile, Nic's uneasiness still lingers on her but ignoring it is the best thing she can do, for now, one thing for sure she'll ask her parents about it.

Things were going smooth and as usual but the uneasy feeling is getting stronger as time pass by for them except Karol the only one who's always careless with this stuff.

-2 days before the commotion-

-Aegies's group chat-

Karol: Morning my aegies (babies)

Christine: Gosh Karol, it's freaking 11.58 almost afternoon.

Karol: Still AM not PM yet.

Nic: I bet she just woke up

Nat: Yup, she just woke up. 100%

Karol: hehe, well ladies my shift ended this morning at 6 am so I got nothing to do now until 5 pm.

Christine: Yes, I'm free for lunch.

Nat: Yes, me too.

Nic: Yes Karol, we free at lunchtime.

Karol: hehe, you gaish (guys) are the best!

Christine: So typical Karol.

Karol: I'm almost there tho meet me upfront at the entrance 10 minute on the dot.

Nat: Okay

Nic: Okay

Christine: Okay

At exact 12.10 pm, all 3 of them waiting for Karol as she pulls over with a grinning face.

"Hello my besties, come in, come in," said Karol in a playful manner.

"Why are you so cheerful?" asked Christine

"Cause I got to eat lunch with my besties of course" reply Karol.

"Dude, we eat lunch last 2 weeks together," said Nic.

"And last week we ate dinner together" added Nat.

"You gaish (guys) really no fun," said Karol while pouting as she drove off to their destination.

"What do you want to eat? Western food? Asian food? Middle eastern food?" ask Karol.

"I'm okay with anything. Gosh, I'm so hungry" said Nic.

"Same, I'm okay with anything" added Nat.

"Since you're the one who drives today so you decide where to eat" reply Christine as she fiddle with the stereo.

"Okay, Italian food it is," said Karol without missing a beat. All 3 of them laughing at Karol's attitude.

"Nic did you eat breakfast this morning?" ask Karol as she looks at her car's rear mirror.

"Nope, I skip it because I was super busy running and helping the other staff with the patient. Now I'm hungry as a horse" reply Nic while rubbing her stomach.

"Munch on this first before you munch Nat" reply Karol laughing at her lame joke while passing the Snickers chocolate bar which earning a small glare from Nic as she snatches the bar from her hand.

20 minute later they arrived at an Italian Restaurant where they dine for years. They talked and enjoying the food while catching up with each other works.

Although they work at the same hospital they still can't meet each other often due to the differences in work scope and wings at the hospital.

Christine working as a general surgeon at the emergency ward while Karol as a cardiothoracic surgeon who resides at the East side of the hospital meanwhile Nat as a forensic pathologist who works at the mortuary which located North side of the hospital and Nic who works as a general surgeon at the West side of the hospital.

Their work path and timing often didn't match each other unless they have the same patience that needed their opinion on the patient which rarely happen.

On the way back to the hospital they having a brief conversation about their trips unknowingly to them all that their fate will change at that exact moment.
