[World of Io.]

Narrator: Once there was a land full of wonderful creatures that were born from the influence of the world stone. The elf that could talk to plants, the dwarf that could invent and build magnificent machines, the beastfolk, the various magical creatures, and countless beings that lived together in harmony.

The inhabitants of the world were protected by Io, the dragon god that was born at the beginning of time. The benevolent Dragon God didn't demand anything for his protection, and his love was fair for every living creature.

However, when Bahamut, the child of Io was born, he demanded the inhabitants of the world their servitude for the dragon's protection.

Being a proud dragon that was born with the ability to wield magic of the world, Bahamut viewed all of the other races as inferior.

He summoned a moon from another starry sky, and destroyed the kingdom of magus that wanted to study the way of magic. All of the culmination of magic studied by the races of the world was destroyed by the red dragon.

Bahamut's deeds grew harsher as he split the large continents into various small islands, splitting those who are loyal to him, and those who don't. He became more uncontrollable, and his father didn't do anything until…Bahamut drove a race toward its extinction.

And for the first time ever in Io's life, he decided that Bahamut's life was a mistake. The Son– Dragon of Destruction fought with his father – the Dragon God of Creation for 7 days and 7 nights. Their fight changed the landscape of the world, and created havoc all around.

Their strength was on par with each other, and the winner of the battle couldn't be decided. Both of the dragons were on a path to destroy their lives together.

Until, Io was betrayed by his kins, the elemental dragons, who believed Bahamut had done nothing wrong. Bahamut and the traitors locked Io inside the Worldstone – a magical stone that appeared at the beginning of existence, together with Io.

Together with the 7 elemental dragon gods, Bahamut rallied against the whole world. And with no one to stop them, Bahamut's terror engulfed the world. A year after Io was imprisoned, the world was conquered by Bahamut.

The other gods, the Titans, the Blood, the Vamps, The Forge, had to go into hiding after Bahamut decided to go after them. The gods pose as humans and other species, creating descendants that could last against the period of chaos.

Hundreds of years later, The dragon's might and religion cemented themselves in the heart of every living being in the world. However, not all creatures wanted to worship Bahamut – especially since his deeds were famous worldwide.

Angered by the blasphemy of these heretic creatures, Bahamut descended into madness. And to make sure that no other creature could wield magic as the dragons do, he swallowed the world stone to lock the magic of the world – together with his father.

But, he underestimated the living beings' pursuit from freedom against tyranny. The civilization in the world developed sword skills, potionry, genetic restructuring, and even dark magic, which used their own and other creatures' life forces, to fight Bahamut.

The dragon god appointed a kingdom of the humans that was the most loyal to him, – a species with zero magic affinity to become his speakers. The humans waged by the banner of crusade and started to oppress the other species that dared to blaspheme against Bahamut.

After a long struggle, the elves' plants withered. The Dwarves' machines rusted. And the other heretic species were driven away to the edge of the continent.

Humanity thrived, but they couldn't escape becoming puppets at the hand of the Mad Dragon.

They built churches to worship the Dragon God of Destruction, and oppressed the innocent magical creatures.

The deep rooted hatred that Bahamut had toward the other magical creatures had become the human's way of life.

Bahamut became sicker and sicker after he swallowed the Worldstone. Io had been cursing him inside his cage, and his hate manifested into the world. Soon, Bahamut fell asleep.

Until the time comes, when Ragnarok appears and kills Bahamut to save the Dragon God of Creation, harmony between magical and non-magical creatures won't ever be achieved.
