I made it through childhood, thankfully it didn't take that long, one of the things I learned is that 14 years make you an adult in this world,

My name here is Eli Dragneel I have 2 parents my father Vahn and my mother Evangeline, we live in a cottage not too far from a village in the Far East continent. My parents are great They took very good care of me through my childhood, at first I was reluctant to call them my parents because I wasn't their kid but I got over that pretty quickly.

One day I worked up the nerve around 2 years old to start practicing my skills mostly Mind's eye and clairvoyance because I was confident I wouldn't die instantly.

my mother was talking to me one day and said "We may not look it but your daddy and I are really strong" Wreally I said pretending to articulate to the 5-year-old standard yeah I'm so embarrassed right now.

mother responded, "You wanna see your dad fight a dragon"? Yeah, I shouted in excitement I was finally gonna see real magic, I've seen small magic from my parents like the time dad used time magic to fix a chair, and mom used healing magic when I scraped my knee, but this was going to be different it was going to be battle magic at least that's what my dad called it.

When went outside and then dad suddenly disappeared, "where did Dad go? I asked Mom "Oh he went to get a dragon sometimes they hide really well" he is going to get a dragon, SHE JUST ACTED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO THE STORE!!! just how strong is he I thought in excitement.

All of a sudden Boom, a huge shockwave was headed straight for us I hugged my mom tight and closed my eyes, but there was nothing, "you can open your eyes, Eli, my dad was right in front of us with a huge grin on his face "bet you almost pissed yourself eh boy, No I said defensively, as you probably noticed my dad is a bit of an a-hole.

Then I saw a huge dragon right my father. he saw me looking and said "Yeah it's a bit big but it will work, it can't be too small or it will die from me sneezing or something like that," my dad said by way of explanation." Honey, we promised Ouranos we wouldn't make the dragons extinct", " Nah its ok if he asks just tell him Eli wanted to see one. We can't do that yelled my mom, "he won't buy it", and while they were arguing I saw the dragon open his mouth and violet light started to gather

Mom Dad, I said the dragon doing something, "don't worry Daddy will take care of it said my mom then all of a sudden Dad disappeared and reappeared in front of the dragon he gently Flicked it and Boom the shockwave was huge and then when the dust cleared the dragon was gone, Just gone completely disappeared, MIA, ghosting you name it the goddamn dragon was doing it.

And then my dad spoke "Well I really tried to hold back I was only using only 5% of my power sorry son" he looked visibly disappointed I didn't even get to use my OG skill he pouted, What, The, Fuck, he was sad he killed the dragon without any fuking skills this can't be cannon!
