Joke!

The glowing block sat in the mid of nowhere, so were Jenna and Trevor, Trevor looked suspiciously at the glowing block that was now lying in between the woody vines and roots those were tremendously covering almost all of the ground.

"It is really a sick joke!" He declared in an irritated voice.

Poor Jenna sat there looking at him once in a while she would avert her eyes to the glowing block and then at the setting sun.

"What are we gonna do now? It's going to be dark pretty soon." Jenna asked him. Sighing Trevor looked around the now darkening surroundings and nodded his head at her words.

"Yeah it is, we should go somewhere comfortable I guess, I don't have anything I could use as tent or a bed," he said in a mocking manner.

Jenna shook her head at his rude behaviour and stood up. She moved slowly in those vines, occasionally placing her feet above them, and moving in a zigzag pattern she reached that block again and started to pick that up.

Trevor looked at her dumbfounded. "What are you doing," he asked.

Jenna rolled her eyes at him, "of course taking it to a comfortable place with us, it is the only hint we have so far!" She said putting commas dramatically around her words.

Trevor looked at that block and started moving towards her in an attempt to help her.

Both of them took that block time to time and started moving forward without a single hint where they were going now.

Jenna pushed that rope thing above her right arm and breathed heavily, "where are we even going ?" She asked Trevor in a tired voice.

Trevor stopped for a moment in an open field now that had slightly leveled surface, and it was probably not covered with the tree trunks or uncomfortable vines they could stay here for now.

He was about to go sit somewhere down, when he suddenly heard sound of running water in the North direction from where they were standing, "There is water I guess,"

He just said that and started to run towards it with the block in his hand now.

Hearing water, Jenna pushed the rope up once again and started to run with him.

Both of them finally reached on a bank of river, it had clear water but the night light was not helping at all.

"I guess we could stay here today, " he declared. Content with the thought of water after a whole tiring day Jenna nodded her head excitedly. She hurriedly put the rope at one side near the bank and ran to the water to fill her will.

Trevor looked at her amused when he saw her drinking water thirstily. Seeing her like that made him thirsty as well so he moved towards the water and ran his fingers through the cold water waves.

He filled his palms with water and continued to drink water, it was what they had for dinner, breakfast and lunch. So they drank it as much as they could, helplessly.

After drinking Jenna washed her face with ice cold water and cleansed it from all the dirt she had to face all this time.

She moved back to where they had placed that glowing block and, she picked up the rope she had placed near the bank in hurry, then moved to sit next to that block.

Because it was playing a role of fire for them.

It was not very cold so they did not need to set a fire either. Both of them sat there looking at starts on the sky, those were certainly illusion as well. Jenna thought.

Jenna placed her head on the block and closed her eyes as an attempt to sleep. But even when she was exhausted she could not fall asleep.

Trevor could not think of a way to solve that mystery. He could not understand what that even meant. He was getting frustrated now. He knew nothing. He wanted to go back in his own room and play some game, he did not want to be a part of a game.

"Are you asleep?" He heard Jenna's timid voice asking him. "No," he answered curtly .

And turned around on his right side now facing Jenna from the ground he was lying on.

She took it as a cue that he was not going to mock her now maybe. So she again started, "What do you do?" Trevor looked at her as if she were some idiot.

She noticed his expression and whispered yelled at him, "What ? I can't sleep and I don't know what to do now. "

Trevor did not say anything for few moments she took it as her hint that he did not want to talk to her. She sighed. And again started to look at the star covered pitch black sky.

"Well, You already know my name, so I guess I don't need to repeat it for you." Trevor's calm voice responded. Jenna looked at him surprised. But did not interrupted him, but turned her attention towards him now indicating that she was listening.

"Umm, I like playing video games and alot of them actually. I'm turning eighteen in upcoming September. That's pretty much it." He said to himself more than to her.

Jenna nodded at that and started to speak for herself now, " I'm a taekwondo black belt, I love to practice alot of it as well," Trevor turned to look at her, to see her hazel eyes shining with confidence and pride. She kept on telling him about herself, "I'm seventeen right now, and will be eighteen next year, oh and I love food. " she said pating her empty stomach

Trevor gave a small smile and shook his head at her childish antics.

"Hey, are you asleep?" Jenna asked Trevor who had his eyes closed now with his head resting on his bulging right forearm that he was using as his pillow now.

He opened his one baby blue eye and responded, "Nop, I'm just thinking."

Jenna copied his posture and settled down on the hard ground. "What are you thinking?" She inquired in a droozy voice.

"Are there more people like us here?" He said. Jenna again yawned and nodded her head at that. "If you are here from another time, so am I. There are high chances that there will be more," He again said.

"The more the better!" Jenna added, "The more the better!" Trevor sat up yelling in the victorious voice.

Jenna cleaned her eyes with her palm trying not to sleep. "What happened?" She inquired him at his enthusiasm.

"The hint, I got it!" Jenna instantly brightened up and sat next to him, "What is it then ?"

"There are more people like us here, we probably need to gather them first and we will all be able to find way back, they must know something." He declared proudly.

Jenna nodded her head, "That makes sense,"

She frowned a little bit and asked him again, "But how will we find them? We don't even know the way."

Trevor's smile dropped. His shining blue eyes became calculative. "There must be more on that block." He said nodding towards the block. Jenna once again yawned and nodded at him.

"We will see that tomorrow morning then, I'm sleepy." She declared and again settled down on the hard ground.

"Okay, Night". Trevor said, and himself settled on the ground and started looking at the dark sky that had alot of stars covering it like diamonds.
