It is finally 4 PM and now I'm eagerly awaiting Dave. I know it's really dumb to be chasing a guy like that, but I really like Dave ever since we met I knew that I was gonna go crazy for that dude.

But behind his nice cute jawline, blue eyes, and perfect abs I think I'm more attracted to his love for adventure.

When the clock hit 4 20 I saw Dave pull up with his motorcycle, he wore a sleeveless shirt that I bet would show his abs nicely when they gets wet.

He was about to ring the doorbell when I opened the door the look on his face when he saw what I was wearing was priceless, I don't know if it was from being shocked because I'm not into dresses or does he just like the dress on me.

Connie: hello there

Dave: what the hell are you wearing dude you look crazy but in a good way

Connie: was that a compliment or an insult

Dave: it was definitely the second one

Connie: why don't you go tutor yourself, I'll be rooting for you on your next test

I was about to shut the door when he pushed back

Dave: I'm sorry you look really nice in it, it's just that I've never seen you in it before

Connie: so you like it

Dave: it's a good color on you but I like you better in your hoodie it's boyish and I like that about you.

Connie: thanks so you like my hoodies

Dave: I like everything you do Connie

ok now I'm blushing really hard I hope he doesn't notice it

Dave: can I come in now I really wanna learn math

Connie: sure...*closed the door* I made you cookies

Dave: yummy

Connie: and I blended bananas and strawberries for you

Dave: wow Connie Thomas you're being terrifyingly nice to me today what gives

Connie: nothing I'm just in a good mood

Dave: ok tiny dude

Dave went to the cookies and juice he ate it like a champ he always had a big appetite. When he was eating his lunch I tried a lot of things to make him finally get the hint that I liked him.

I tried touching his muscles but he thought I wanted to hit him, I also tried flipping my hair over a few times but he thought I had something in it, I even threw something on the ground and picked it up in a cute manner but he didn't even look at me I was getting pretty fed up about it.

Dave: what's your deal you're acting weirder than usual

Connie: I'm not I'm just being a girl

Dave: ok but when you're around me please be my boyish best friend please

Connie: whatever let's go study *she leaves*

Dave: what did I do

I went to my room and I was so angry I mean I put in all this effort and it was for nothing, he just sees me to be one of his guy friends cuz I act like that around him.

But today I want him to know that I like him, but instead he wants me to act like a boy around him all the time. I waited for twenty minutes before he came in the room

Dave: I'm ready to not fail math

Connie: whatever just sit down and try to focus

Dave: fine but I gotta tell you that right now I was meant to be filming another bike ride so you better make this worth my time

Connie: keep talking like that and I'll slap your stupid face

Dave: moody much

Connie: we're gonna start with chemistry

I started to teach him but Dave being Dave made it hard for me, I mean he couldn't keep his mind focused he was always looking at something and everytime I asked him a question he would try to redirect it and talk about extreme sports.

And I'm getting real fed up with it I spent an hour and a half teaching him chemistry before I got tired and stop the section.

Dave: come on Connie my mind was focused that time

Connie: let's take a break ok

Dave: sure now you're speaking mi language

Dave took a chocolate bar from his pocket and ate it I was really annoyed that non of my stuff was working, I couldn't stand him anymore I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize it when he took my diary and begun to read it.

He kept reading and reading I noticed that he wasn't making any sounds and that is so unlike Dave so I turned around and I caught him reading my diary

Connie: what are you doing

I reached in and I took the book from him but he has already read the important part, cuz last night I wrote about my crush on him.

I couldn't look him in the eye so I left the room. I went to the kitchen in such a rush I was panting like crazy, I mean I want him to know that I like him but not like that.

I tried to pull myself together cuz I heard my room opening and he came down to the kitchen. Dave sat on the counter away from me cuz I was in the living room I guess it was pretty weird for the both of us.

The silence was pretty awkward until he broke it

Dave: why...... why would you have a crush on me of all people Connie

Connie: I don't know

Dave: wow I mean you pretty and all but wow, and I've never thought about you like that before

Connie: yes it shows

Dave: wait is that why you're acting weird for

Connie: Maybe

Dave: Connie you're nice and all but I just don't see you like that you're my best buddy man, and right now you've made things weird I don't think I can ever come out of the shower in my towels Infront of you anymore

Connie: good to know

Dave: I'm gonna go home now.....uh thanks for helping me with chemistry today tiny dude, I'll see you tomorrow

Connie: ok

Dave left the house and I threw myself onto the couch I can't believe that just happened, and after everything that he read I can't believe that he still sees me as a friend.

I mean who writes in a diary anymore I realize now that I really messed up, I don't think that things will every be normal between us.

I heard my door opened I thought it was Dave coming back to say that he likes me, and we can kiss like two people in a rom com but Instead it was my parents.

Mom: hi hunny how are you doing

Connie: I'm fine *wakes up to greet them*

Dad: did you miss us

Connie: you guys were gone for half a day

Mom: so tell me what'd we miss

Connie: nothing I was just here all alone definitely nothing exciting happened

Dad: ok well then why did my colleague tell me that he watched a stunt video and saw my daughter jumping from a plane

oh boy

Mom: what were you thinking Connie you could've gotten seriously hurt you have to think about these things

Dad: I'm gonna call Dave's parents they need to get their son I check

Connie: dad don't I was the one that insisted on going with him, he didn't force me to jump out of the plane I did that on my own

Mom: why would you do something like that you need to be focused on your studies you have no time for things like that

Dad: your mom is right...... I'm not gonna call Dave's parents but I don't wanna see you doing something like that again ok

Connie: sure

I went to my room and I literally fell into a wormhole of depression I had no clue that my day was gonna end like this. My long time wish came through cuz Dave knows that I like him but he didn't take it in the fun way that I've always pictured it.

And now all I want is to go back few hours ago before all of this happened.

Later that night I tried my best to sleep, but I couldn't do it all I could think about was Dave. And if I hadn't such a loser who writes everything down I wouldn't be in this mess.

I was so spooked when it registered on my phone that Dave had sent me a message, I was so eager to see what it was so I hurriedly opened the text. But it was just a smiling emoji, and then he sent me a gif of a biker going down a hill.

I guess that was his way of tell me that I threw our friendship down the hill. He was typing something but I didn't wanna see it, so I switched off my phone and forced myself to sleep.

It took a lot of hard work for me finally get a shut eye but it was worth it cuz I woke up the next morning ok like nothing ever happened.

I managed to get my affairs in order and I went to school Dave was the first personal that my eyes caught, and he saw me too he waved for me to come over but ignored him and I went to Suzie and Rose.

Connie: hey guys

Rose: wow you look like shit what happened

Connie: Dave found out that I liked him and now things are weird between us

Suzie: you finally told him

Connie: he read about it... he saw it in my diary

Rose: I told you to stop writing about your feelings towards you best friend in that thing

Connie: yeah but I didn't listen and now my hands are soaked with the blood of my failed relationship

Suzie: oh come on Connie don't be dramatic I'm sure everything will be fine, and who knows maybe Dave will finally start seeing you like a girl and begins to like you back

Connie: I hope that happens

Rose: no I'm not gonna let you wallow in sadness ok there's a lot of boys to date here other than Mr adrenaline junkie

Suzie: yeah come on Connie just get your mind off him

Connie: I'll try

And that what I did, I tried my best to not think about Dave but that didn't last long cuz everytime I saw him I just thought about him again and again, and he was quite noticable cuz he kept trying to get me to go to him but I didn't do it.

After our lunch period I was on my way to biology class when I felt a hand pull me into the storage room, I wanted to scream but the person covered my mouth and turned the lights on.

Connie: Dave what are you doing

Dave: why are you avoiding me

Connie: you know the reason no need for me to spell it out

Dave: what is it cuz I found out that you have a massive crush on me

Connie: I wanna get out of here

Dave: " I really like him he's cute and he has blue eyes which always captivates

me like wow" *laughs*

Did he just quote what he read from my diary

Connie: do you think that's funny

Dave: so tell me what about me do you like Connie is it just my eyes

Connie: I'll scream if you don't open this door right now

Dave: come on just tell me

Dave moved super close to me and I was blushing like crazy and he definitely realized it cuz he smirked, I can't believe that he's finding pleasure in making me uncomfortable

Dave: does me being this close to you makes you wanna kiss me cause in the book you said that that's a fantasy that you want to make come through

Connie: let me out right now Dave I'm not kidding around

He came really close to face as if he was gonna kiss me but he pulled away

Dave: come on tiny dude just stop avoiding me you're making this even weirder

Is he serious right now he's gonna leave me hanging, I got super pissed so I managed to get him out of the way and I opened the door. I made it to biology pretty late I tried my best to focus but Dave rented a space in my mind from that entire closet incident.
