By far one of my favorite stories yet on Webnovel. Funny and heartwarming, it makes you care for the mc as well as laugh at his foolishness. Overall, a great story, not one to judge just by its synopsis.

This was a fun story to read. I Like the dialogue and the grammar gets better as the writer progresses. For the first few chapters I was a bit worried, but it got much better. The MC is pretty funny and his somewhat awkward nature creates funny situations. Overall my only gripe was that the love interest was a beauty. I initially hoped she would be plain and then he makes her come out of her shell. That's ok though! Still a fun and easy read with enjoyable characters and situations. Good job!
I have to admit I thought this was gonna be a another ****ty original novel. BUT WTF this is way to good I LOVE IT. The story has a nice smooth flow, the characters are fleshed out so far, there’s EVEN GROWTH to the MC (so nice to see). And Carlos my fav character, I love how he’s like a badass monsta you don’t mess with, then he has these pure everyday problems that parents have and it’s so lovable. I just want more. I believe the author is someone I’m gonna keep an eye on.

before i start,this novel is great and one of the best on the site. but many people may drop this after v2 is complete. basically first two volumes just think are fillers with comedy while from 3rd volume you get into alex's past and the story becomes less funny and slightly dark. i would have liked the story to be funny throughout but don't mind me still the story is nice after 2nd volume but i prefer the first 2. my fav part of the story which i rarely ever tell was the harem. one of the rare time i wanted a harem because eva deserved it even after fighting in losing cause for alex's love and there were only 2 members if anyone doesn't like harem.
I thought I would make another review after having finished reading it. Please enjoy this spoiler free review. Overall it’s a great read. While there were little things that bothered me here and there, it’s not bad. The grammar was great, with minimal mistakes (to my recollection). Where and were, were interchanged on a frequent basis, but that’s it, aside from proper terms being not used like great uncle was instead used as “other grandfather”. The writing quality was pretty good and grew it would seem as he wrote. The story progression was also great. With the story only dragging a few times (at least for me). The characters all grow, especially the MC (Alex). Alex grows quite a bit. The author ended the story with a promise of a sequel, but as of writing this review the sequel is listed as being on hiatus with only 17 chapters (18 including a note, saying he didn’t like the way it’s started and is going to restart it). By no means is the story left on a cliffhanger. The book came to a close, but left room for the sequel, especially with how it ended. Although I will say, as of at this moment the sequel isn’t based around Alex, but it does seem interesting. It’s also set years after the events of this book. I think around 10 years after, but I could be wrong. Anyways to wrap things up, the book was rather enjoyable. Some tears were shed as I read, alongside of laughs and overall enjoyment. I would recommend the read, but everyone is different in their tastes, so maybe you won’t like it, who knows. At the very least if the summary interests you, give it a try, it might surprise you.
