Chapter 1: ADDICTED TÖ YÖU

My name is Meltem Willow, and I have just turned 17. I have an older brother named Caden. He is 18 years old. My brother and I live alone because our parents died when I was young. We lived with our uncle and aunt for a while until my brother turned 18. He saved up his money so that the both of us could move out and have our own life. Another reason is that our aunt and uncle no longer wanted to look after us, they have said. " I can't look after you two when we have a kid to look after". Anyways, I'm glad we moved, and I'm happy this way. My brother has a best friend, and he is also 18.

" Meltem!" My brother Caden yelled from downstairs. I ran down in my school uniform, and yes, school uniform. I just had come home from school an hour ago and didn't bother changing clothes.

" I'm coming!" I called, rushing over towards him which he was standing near the front entrance.

Caden takes his jacket and puts it on. He was getting ready to go out. " When Arderàs comes, and we leave, I want you to lock up behind us. I don't want no one coming over, and if somebody knocks on the door-"

" Yes, Caden, I know. If a stranger knocks on my door, do not answer it."

" Good." He said. I smiled happily, pushing my glasses further up. I wonder if I could tag along with them? I have never been to a party before.

" Caden, I was thinking, if I could come too?"

" No." He immediately replied. Caden doesn't allow me to go to any party-related events until I turn 18. I glanced down, holding onto my hands and fidgeting with my fingers nervously whilst biting my lips. The front door opened, and I looked up, seeing him,

my crush. The man of my dreams,

Arderàs.

" Hey, man," Arderàs said, making my heart race like crazy. Noticing him in his usual black leather jacket, he slowly walked in and shut the front door behind. He smiled widely at my brother, showing me his perfectly white teeth. They hugged each other and pat their backs. So fascinating. Arderàs eyes gaze over at mine and walk further towards me. His smile slightly fades whilst nodding his head at me. " Hey, Meltem"

" H-Hey." I nervously replied, pushing my glasses up and placing my hair behind my ear. I glanced down, feeling my cheeks heating up.

Oh, my god. He is so damn cute.

I looked back up at Arderàs, and he was still staring at me, smirking whilst he scratched his jaw. My brother taps him on the shoulder, and they both turn their body to the front door. " Isn't Meltem coming with?" Arderàs asked.

Caden looks at him then over at me. " She's 17. What is she going to do at a party filled with 18 and plus-year-olds?"

I raised my brows, holding onto my fingers, hoping he would let me come. " I won't bother anyone, and I won't drink. Can I please come?" I pleaded.

" See, she won't be a problem," Arderàs stated. I went and stood next to him, pouting my lips at my brother whilst holding my hands up together.

Caden stares at me and sighs heavily before shaking his head no. " No. I don't want to babysit my sister all night, and what the hell is wrong with you?" He said, annoyed by Arderàs. " Come on, let's go." He said, walking out the door. I felt my heart submerge, dropping my hands down and my smile.

I slowly peep over at Arderàs, and he walks over to ruffle my hair. " Be safe little one." He said whilst smiling down at me before heading out the door. I walked further out and held the door whilst staring at both of them. I watched them getting into the car and driving away.

A few hours later.

I was in my bedroom, staring at myself through my mirror vanity, wearing a bunny onesie. It was already 1 am, and I was up watching makeup tutorials, taking a brush and applying it to my eyelids. I smiled, seeing the vibrant blue eye-shadow color on my eyelid, and danced happily to myself. I then go ahead and apply red lipstick on when suddenly my phone starts to ring. I grabbed my phone and answered it. It was my brother Caden. " Hello Caden?".

" Oh, Meltem. It's Arderàs." He says in a raspy voice, making my eyes widen whilst staring right through my mirror and feeling my heart pounding loudly. I stood up immediately, dropping my makeup brush and my chair to the floor. " Are you okay? I heard noises?".

" No, I'm fine. I have just dropped my, chair" I mumbled softly, slowly glancing at myself through the mirror before hitting myself on the head.

" Okay. I'm letting you know that I'm nearly at your house. Caden is drunk, so please can you open your door so I can help him."

" Okay!" I said, ending the call and running out of my bedroom towards the front door. I pant heavily whilst opening the door widely, looking out and noticing his car pulling up. I smiled extensively, waiting to jump around in happiness. He gets out of his car and helps Caden out, seeing a random girl getting out too. I frowned my brows, observing this girl. She was wearing a super short sparkly dress, and her hair was strawberry blonde. She walks drunkenly towards me and eyes me out before laughing at me. My cheeks flushed. Why was she laughing at me?.

" Awe, you chubby thing." She says whilst squeezing my cheeks. I felt my heart drop after she remarked on my body weight.

I glanced over and saw Arderàs busy helping my brother out. " I'm sorry, you have to stay downstairs," I informed the girl. She gave me a disappointed look before rolling her eyes at me. " Whatever," She said, walking over to the living room to wait. I rushed up the stairs and opened Caden's bedroom for Arderàs as he walked in and placed my brother down.

Arderàs sighs tiredly and walks out the room. I shut the door and turned around. Noticing he was now standing close to me as I widened my eyes. I felt my throat tightening, gulping softly whilst staring right into his hazel brown eyes. He leans his head down and places his hand on the door, trapping me. His eyes wander to my rabbit ears, to which they are connected to my onesie and smirk whilst playing with it.

" Cute," He whispered, bringing his hazel brown eyes over to mine and leaning his head down closer to me.

" Arderàs? Stop messing around with the kid, and let's go over to my house. I'll be waiting in your car." The girl said with strawberry blonde hair. Arderàs looks behind me and sighs dreadfully, rolling his eyes over to her and nodding his head.

" Alright, I'll be there," He replied, annoyed, looking back over at me and smiling weakly. " Goodnight, little one," He said before placing a kiss on my cheek. I raised my brows high and felt my eyes sparkling. He leans back and smirks at me before walking away whilst scratching his head. I quickly place my hand on my cheek, feeling my heart racing like no other.

He kissed me.
