CHAPTER FIFTEEN

"Goodmorning sir Ace," The guard greeted him as well as the gate become wider.

"Why didn't you let my girlfriend go inside?" The man named Ace muttered.

Didn't know his name was Ace, this is the first time I heard someone call his name. In front of me.....

"Ah, sorry sir Ace. I didn't know she was your girlfriend," Muttered in nervousness.

In my embarrassment, I pinch his side to stop him from what he's doing. Even if he's way taller than me and facing an intersection on my way.

Still can see how his eyes scared the guard in front of us. The wide double doors become wider as he pulled me with my right hand.

"Next time, be early so you won't need my help." He mumbles reminders before he let go of my hand.

"You!" I called but refused to say the next words in my mouth.

Thinking that it might hurt him or trigger his anger after voice outing those words.

Tsk! The nerve of that guy is very high! He can still look up to himself just because he helped cross the gate easily.

Urgh!

He passed me and walked first to which building he was heading.

I don't know much about the buildings here yet because they are so numerous.

While waiting for the result to appear on the big screen. I thought of sitting on a wide chair near the large field.

Students were becoming aggressive and excitement is very visible on their faces. While I, sitting in here full of nervousness and shyness.

The students standing in front of me were noisy.

They become even louder when one of their friends brings up a new issue. I smiled sparingly at the man who passed by.

He smiled at me first and it doesn't seem right for me to ignore his good smile.

Well... I'm good at smiling hehehehe.

As I was reading some of my books, suddenly someone touched my side causing me to stand in panic.

"Hi! My name is Clarisse," She greeted me and introduced me all at once with her right hand.

I thought she was the only one to introduce herself but I was surprised at the two students who appeared behind her.

They smiled broadly at me as they adjusted their stance.

"Hi! I'm Ivan." He introduce himself to the theme as he handed his right hand.

"Hello," I uttered back and reached out his hand before another woman added something about herself.

"Monic, that's my name." She said and hugged me all of a sudden.

I didn't move anything in my body. I was shocked at what they did especially with the woman who hugged me suddenly.

All of my veins and muscles in my body become stunned by what just happened.

"Ah, ah Hi..." I greeted with hesitation.

"Can we share the seat?" Asked the woman in the back. She is a beautiful and very simple girl.

There is probably nothing more beautiful than her. They are simply choosing clothes, no makeup is put on their mouths and even on their cheeks.

No clay blush, no lipstick, and even powder on their faces aren't visible.

Their beauty is very natural. No fraud was committed.

They smiled broadly at the same time as I pushed myself a bit to give them space so that they could sit properly.

"Are you new here?" The man whose name is Ivan asked me.

"Ah, Yes I'm just new here," I answered and still looked at the book I was reading.

"You're not from Manila either? Your name is Heart, isn't it?" Clarisse asked together with her another question.

"You like reading books, and it's a chef's book for recipes." The girl who hugged me earlier was the one who asked for it.

"Ah yes, I was here to study nutritionist before I proceed to become a pastry chef. In the future," Answered formally as I saw her glance of smile plastered on her face.

Why is this girl super jolly and very comfortable with someone.

Unlike me, I couldn't be like her because I'm too shy to ask for someone's friendship.

We stop talking to each other when the head of the university started to talk as she greeted every one of us.

"Good morning students! and for the future students, of the University Of Santo Thomas College." The Head of the university greeted and welcomed us.

Students greeted her back with a shout and smiles plastered on their faces.

"The top natcher of the newest entrance exams of this school year is...."

As she muttered those thrilling words, the large landscape screen showed the results of the newest entrance exams.

My eyes widen as I saw the last name of the first top nature of the entrance exams. All of those hard thoughts and mindful over thinks were gone.

Never knew this would happen in my life and it shouldn't be this way, but it is.

I'm the top natcher! I am!

And I cannot even say any words so I could thank those wok hard I've done. This could mean everything to me and my family.

"Woah!" Someone shouted in shock.

"Oh my god Ace is the second! how did that happen!?" A sassy girl screamed out of frustration.

"Yeah right! I mean he's always on top!"

Tsk, the audacity.

"Wait! that last name isn't familiar to me. Is she new? or more like we've known her but didn't see her in person." Her friends muttered flirtily.

"Heart! ohh, Ace's Heart." The anonymous boy walk closer to me as he mumbled my name.

Everyone was looking at me now because of what this boy did. The students who introduced their selves to me went closer to my side.

Wow, I didn't think of that. Neither thinks of it that they would stay still by my side. All I know is to expect those words of them were plastics and lies.

But no... isn't any.
