Chapter 400- A favor in return for a favor.
In the darkness of the night, a figure wrapped in a black cloak crept into a fancy building sneakily. He couldn't escape the sharp eyes of the security guards stationed around the complex. He was quickly apprehended.
Several tall, strong guards encircled him and pointed guns at his head. If he moved a muscle, he would be shot dead instantly.
There was no fear or tension in his eyes. He murmured a code word, and all the guards lowered their weapons. One of them led him into the house.
Before going into a room, the guard checked him thoroughly and asked him to hand over the cloak.
The man removed his cloak, revealing his face. It was Jeremy.
"You can go in now," the guard said.
Jeremy thanked him and walked into the room. He was stunned for a moment, unable to see anything in the darkness. The light coming from the outside illuminated a certain part of the room faintly, leaving the remaining parts dark.
