Chapter 399- Declan chastising Yasmin

"Amy…"

Declan had just taken off his clothes to shower when he heard her voice. He perked up his ears. His brows creased as he believed her voice came from outside the room.

"What the hell is she doing?" he muttered and wrapped a towel around his waist.

He exited the bathroom and didn't see her in the bed, where he had left her not more than a couple of minutes ago.

It was enough to annoy him. The doctor advised her to rest and stay in bed. Couldn't she simply follow the instructions? Did she need to roam around? Nothing would have gone wrong if she had stayed in bed for a few days.

"Yasmin…" He gritted his teeth and strode out of the room.

When he saw her wobbling beside the stairs, his heart stopped beating. Adrenaline surged through his veins, propelling him toward her. His body was moving faster than his mind.
