Synopsis

What comes to mind when I ask about your favorite game? You got it? Now think of what makes that game special to you. It's characters, it's setting, or it's unique traits. Just take a moment to remember it all. Would you make that game your reality? For me, I would never say no. Everything in reality is just a worse version of a game after all. So why should I keep playing this shitty game? Sanctum. A game that was supposed to be the solution to all of my problems. A full dive VRMMORPG with my favorite fantasy world. Now do you remember how I said, "was"? I got lucky. Or at least some people would consider me to be. I unlocked one of the first and strongest legendary classes in the game. A sorcerer with the ability to create anything. What's wrong with that you may be asking? Well... why don't you just find out? Author's Notes: -The mc isn't big on talking so a lot of the story is narrated by his inner dialogue. A huge inspiration on my writing format is, 'Kumo desu ga nani ka?' I'm not as great a writer as Okina Baba, but I'll give it my all! -As this is my first work, I'm always open to error comments and my writing will hopefully improve as the story goes on. -Also! I plan to have the main character grow as the story goes on. He may seem like a selfish asshole, but hopefully everyone can adjust to him as the story progresses and he grows as a person. -I don't own any of this amazing art used for the cover, if you're interested in seeing more then here's a link to the artist's twitter: https://twitter.com/retas_123

The Gargoyle's Sin

'As the creature was bowed forward, only being held up by the strength of the ropes, the ministers quickly opened up the book. The light of the torches caught the name on the cover, 'Accalia'. No one knew what the name meant, but all that matter to them was what the inside of the book could do to the creature of the night. The ministers were filled with excitement and adrenaline, ready to make an example of him and once and for all put themselves on a level that they never should have strived for. In a booming voice, the minister holding the book began to speak. "As punishment for your crimes against God and His people, you will be sentenced to an eternity of anguish. Each morning, as the sun begins to rise, you will turn to stone, a slow painful process that will remind you of what you are and what you have done. Each night, as the sun sets, you will return to your natural form, to be hunted by man and God. You will be bound to the square slab in the center of the cemetery, to watch over the dead, but remember. If you do not return each morning before sunrise, you will turn to dust." ************************************************************************ Alexis Viotto is an only child who is sweet, innocent and flying to Albany, New York to help her aunt after a car accident. She had never been this far from home before, much less without her parents. Her mom intrigued her with a story about a gargoyle that guards the old cemetery. Her arrival seems to have caused a stir and a string of strange events begin to take place. She finds herself tangled in a mystery and now relies on the help of the gargoyle guarding the cemetery to protect her. With her life in danger and her fate being intertwined with Grimald, will she be able to handle the truth? Will she be able to handle who she really is? Is she the key to freeing the gargoyle from his curse, or is another source of his suffering?

Transmigration: What Can't I Buy With Infinite Credits?

Wesley was a young man with ambition. Growing up with no parents and nothing to his name, he vowed to succeed in life; gaining everything he’d ever wished for. Sadly, the world never worked the way you wanted it to. Just as Wesley’s business was taking off, he was gunned down in a restaurant he visited from time to time. That day, two thugs had gotten into an argument, and he just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Shortly after the ambulance arrived, Wesley had already breathed his last breath. Unexpectedly, this was just one of the many lives he's lived. *Welcome traveler 87671. Your trial period has ended. Please choose one of the following options provided. -Transmigration -Reincarnation -System Operative ''F*ck, that hurt!'' Wesley clutched his chest and exhaled heavily. ''Two lives in and you're still pulling the same shit? You couldn’t pull me out in a more peaceful way?’’ The system operative scoffed at Wesley's attitude. ''Listen, can you pick a position already? The other SO’s are watching some new rookie, and she’s going buck wild in one of our apocalypse settings. If I miss any of the good stuff, I’m upping the prices in your system shop. '' ‘’Bullshit.'' Wesley laughed at the System Operators threat. ''Make me a transmigrator. Being reincarnated is the worst option out of all the options you have given me.’’ ''Are you sure? You’ve got quite the mouth on you so I thought you would go for System Operator, and here I thought I’d gotten myself a new drinking buddy.'' The SO seemed genuinely bummed by Wesley's answer.
