Bridge of Solitude

Margaret Laurence is a smart and witty girl with a sharp tongue, cheerful personality and stubborn attitude. She is kind, friendly and is not afraid of getting into troubles or creating them. She doesn’t back down from a challenge and never lost a fight, regardless if it’s verbal, mental or physical. But that was all in the past. Somewhere along the line, she lost that spark in her and became a regular average girl. She convinced herself to stay quiet, move on with her life and not bother about unnecessary things. That’s the Margaret Laurence of Golden Dawn University today. An unexpected friendship with the silent, sleepy and the infamous, Arthur Bridge added bit of color to her otherwise mundane life. But just when things seem to fall in place, Arthur is falsely accused, and Margaret is forced to confront many things she chose to ignore. But she didn’t wish to sit aside anymore. She is intent on proving Arthur’s innocence, even if it meant going against the whole university. As the spark inside her is once again reignited, Margaret is not afraid of stirring up a whole lot of troubles and pissing off many more people who are not to be messed with. Read on as Margaret teaches harsh lessons to students and teachers alike; while using her brilliance to outsmart her opponents, play mind games with the biggest masterminds and scheme against the sly old foxed. Old conspiracies are solved and hidden plots are exposed. And all the while she helps create seven mysteries of the university along with a few bored old men. Follow Margaret’s adventures as she shakes the century old university to its foundations with all sorts of disturbances.

MAGE CHRONICLES: THE BEGINNING.

New world. Multiple mates, New family, New friends… and enemies, Kidnap, murder… And a crown she wasn’t ready to wear or wield. Getting kicked out of the dance team, moments before the start of a tour she planned and choreographed was beginning to look like the least of Mahina’s worries. ********************************************************************************************************************** "Any day now, princess," Axel, yells from the bench and I flip him off on autopilot. "That's forty," Andrei adds, mouth splitting into a shit-eating grin. I was teaching Blue to be accountable and responsible, flaking out on my punishment wasn't an option, and sometimes I hated being a parent. "I liked this better when the punishment was having to share my ice cream," I grumble moving to the floor. "Ice cream got you into this mess, to begin with," the asshole standing next to me says. One minute I'm moving to my first crunch and the next I'm holding Andrei up by his neck at the edge of the gym. "Oh shit!" "Dude." "Wow." The array of responses precedes the sound of footsteps running to where we were. "Drac, let him go, we all know he's an idiot," my brother tries to placate me, looking up at me from the floor. Why were they so far down? Oh shit! We were hovering in the air! It costs me to get distracted because the next minute I'm slammed against the wall and Andrei's hands go around my neck. A weird shiver goes through me as I stare at his triumphant face so close to mine. My anger dissipates and is replaced by a more unwelcome emotion. I vaguely hear my brother, handing, Blue off to the pixies, and asking them to go wait outside. My mind is solely occupied by the man holding me up by my neck a few feet in the air. "Princess," he drawls, and I stiffen. Moving closer he whispers in my ear, "All you had to do was ask." You'd think the smug statement would jot me from the sexual haze but no, my body had other ideas. Mine, mine, mine.
