The Tree Of Life

Sora opened his eyes to find himself laying in bed, with Irene in his hands. He was stunned for a moment before he smiled. last night he became a man and felt amazing.

Irene feeling Sora's movement also woke up, and saw him looking at him with a smile, she didn't say anything and simply closed her eyes. but they soon needed to get dressed and go on with their day, they planned to stay within the elf kingdom for a few more days before they left.

So, they left the room and went on to head to where they could eat, but before Sora could sit down to eat, an elf called him to speak alone. Sora followed after them while Irene and the others were on guard, they still didn't know why the elf wanted with Sora.

"it seems like you have noticed the weird looks we have been giving you." the sun elf leader, the same one who came to get Sora and the others outside the forest said with a smile,

"I have noticed," Sora said with a smile, the elf's smile grew at Sora's words,

"then, why are you following me? are you not on guard?" He asked to which Sora just shook his head at his words, what could they do to him?

"I'm a man capable of taking on a whole kingdom, I don't think the elf would carelessly challenge me without a second thought. at least you should try and poison me, or take me hostage," Sora said calmly making the Sun Elf Speechless, just how confident was Sora

"Sigh, you have powerful life energy within you. thousands of years ago, Zeus tried to rape the high-ranking elves, this caused the fairies and elves to unite to push back the gods. but in doing so, both parties were greatly weakened. we fairies and elves realized that the gods and humans shouldn't come anywhere near our home. so, using the tree of life, we created a powerful barrier strong enough to force out even the gods." the sun elf said as he pointed toward the tallest tree far away,

Sora looked at that tree for a moment, and with a simple look, he could tell it was dying even though it held a huge amount of Life energy there.

"is it dying?" Sora asked calmly, that tree had caught his eyes from the moment he had arrived, so he was curious. the Sun Elf nodded slightly, with a burning raging appearing in his eyes.

"those gods are... hateful, they poisoned the tree of life, for many years we tried to heal the tree but we could only slow down its death. even with the fountain of youth, we at most only have 1,000 or so years." the elf said angrily, causing a burning aura to fill the surrounding.

"sigh, you don't understand how important the tree of life is to us fairies and elves. this whole forest is one tree, and elves and fairies and other magical animals, and was birthed from the tree of life. the truth of life birthed us, even the fountain of youth is from the tree." He said softly, stunning Sora at the new information.

"We believe you could heal the tree, or at least give us more time. so, that's the true reason we invited you here. we, elders, have all taken the time to watch you, and you and your group are nothing like most humans. you are indeed better than those heroes chosen by the gods." He said while looking deeply at Sora, making Sora smile awkwardly

The elf has been testing Sora, asking Sora to marry their daughter? that was a joke, no human shall ever touch an elf. but Sora lied, which they easily figured out. the look Sora gave them was also not like that of any human, in fact, the whole party was not like that. they saw them as living being, and not a gold mine.

"I can not say for sure, but I'm willing to give it a go," Sora said with a soft, the sun elf nodded happily and brought Sora to the huge tree. there, countless elders stood, awaiting him, all the elves' sub-races elders were here. The dark elf, Forest elf, water elf, and so on, but standing above them all were the highest ranking elf, Sun, Moon, and Star Elf.

the fairies sat on the tree branches, calmly watching Sora. by the looks of things here, Sora could tell that the fairies were not approving of him entering the forest, meanwhile, the elves must have convinced them or something.

Sora nodded toward them all, before he walked up to the tree, placed a palm upon it, and sensed its lifeforce, which seemed boundless, although it was dying. while sensing the tree, Sora suddenly pulled his palm away from the tree, his eye wide in shock.

"What is it?" the elves seeing this reaction jumped slightly, but they calmed down seeing Sora turn to look at them with a soft smile.

"I'm just shocked... there is a poison out there that even I am afraid of." Sora said with a smile, stunning the elves for a moment.

"That's the titan poison. a poison strong enough to even affect the undying titans." the sun elf said with a sigh, Sora's eyebrows tightened slightly, but he nodded as he stepped backward, and began casting many charms. at the same time, his clothing disappeared and was replaced by a new set of green robes which gave off a powerful lifeforce.

"What clothing is this?" the elf was in shock, just being around Sora they felt themselves feeling refreshed, how could a human be more skilled than them at healing?

"This is my Everlasting Fairey armor set, It was gifted to me by fairies from another world," Sora said as the butterfly wings behind him glowed as he floated up, a want appeared in his hands which he went on to wave while summoning the Forest Sprite where were far away to appear around him.

"you summoned us boss... wow, this place has so much life energy," the main Forest Sprite said cutely as she looked around, but Sora snapped them all back to reality with a clap of his hands.

"I need your help to heal the tree behind you, take a look at it while I summon others to help," Sora said calmly, the Forest Sprite turned to look behind them in confusion before they flew over to have a good look, but they were horrified upon sensing the poison within.

meanwhile, cast [Sanctuary] which created a zone where everyone had a +35% when recovery, this spell stunned all the elves and fairies watching, Sora went on to cast [Mend] and once he did, a powerful aura exploded off Sora, stunning the fairies and elves even more,

the more mana is used to summon her, the stronger her healing capability shall be, Sora used 15 MP, which was enough for him to hold her for some time before he couldn't hold her to this world anymore.

meanwhile, the Forest Sprite all went on to summon [Satyr] a 4 MP healing spell, and with their numbers that was a huge amount. of course, before they all summoned them they cast [Guiding Light] which increase all healing spells by 35%, and [Brilliant Light] which was a mass-effect vision of [Guiding Light], but it increased the healing effect by 30%

Sora cast [Dryad], a spell without any fixed cost on how much Mana is needed to summon her, the more mana is used to summon her, the stronger her healing capability shall be, Sora used 15 MP, which was enough for him to hold her for some time before he couldn't hold her to this world anymore.

Sora went on to cast [Rebirth] and summoned a huge tree which forced everyone backward, Sora had sweat covering his forehead, and the [Dryad] was a stressful spell to hold up. any spell which had 7 MP or higher MP to summon was stressful for Sora to keep within this world, the more of them, the more stressful it was. that's not added that Sora crit for all of these spells

[Rebirth] was a 7 MP spell, and [Dryad] was at the moment a 15 MP spell, they were a lot to keep up, but Sora could hold on for a few minutes. Sora went on to cast [Mend] and once he did, a powerful aura exploded off Sora, stunning the fairies and elves even more,

So, Sora and all of them went on to cast their most pulling healing spell, and the amount they power behind these was so strong that a normal human would explode from such energy, meanwhile, the tree was covered with a glow as it recovered over 900,000 HP as the group didn't stop healing until summons disappeared, leaving only Sora and the Forest Sprite.

"... incredible." the elves and fairies were in shock while looking at the tree of life seems had returned to its peak of health. Sora just gave them 10s of thousands of years' worth of time to think of how to save their home.

Sora let out a deep breath while looking at the tree, but his eyes raise as he felt something, looking at the tree he saw that the tree was moving slightly. slowly from the tree and force formed, it was hard to tell if it was a woman or a female, but the gentle smile on its face couldn't be mistaken.

a tree branch slowly bent, and came over Sora's head, after it patted Sora gently on the bed, a small drop of clear blue water fell from the tree, landing on Sora's head, that instant, Sora felt his lifeforce being empowered, and he felt that he could easily live to a hundred years without trouble,

"... No need to apologies, I'm currently too weak to move that poison, but in a few years or so I will be strong enough," Sora said with a smile, he could feel the tree's thoughts. it was currently sorry that it couldn't Sora immortality, this was due to the poison, it couldn't carelessly make those drops of liquid, or else the poison could attach itself to them, so Sora was given a weakened version of the foundation of youth,

but even So, Sora got the weakest version of immortality, he shall not age, although outside causes will kill him. he also needed to eat, sleep, and so on, but he could go on living for countless years without worry.

"you can hear the tree of life?" the sun elf stepped forward in shock, today, Sora has given them a bit too many shocks, and now he could talk to... well, their mother? although not all of them were born from this tree, they still saw it as their parent more so than their own parent

"more like sense its feelings," Sora said with a shake of his head, everyone was at a lost forward for some time before the Moon Elf spoke

"what was that tree you summoned? was it also a tree of life from another world?" She asked to which Sora shook his head, but before he could explain, the world suddenly shook as cracks appeared in the sky. dark mana filled the air as all the elves' eyes shrank as they realized who was attacking... the Demons were attacking them?

but why, unlike the many other races, they and the demons kept their distance, they didn't go out of their way to... their eyes all turned to Sora, was Sora the hero? no, he didn't have any divine blessing, but could the demons not care and want to kill him to make sure?

they would do the same thing, blessing or not, humans and demons couldn't get along, and that was even more so with how freakish Sora was... but did the demons... the barrier was not made for the demons, but the gods, so it was not as effective towards them.

"... get to safety, you are our saver," a fairy who was as tall as an 8-year-old said to Sora, this was the leader of the fairies, his stepping forward to protect Sora showed that the fairies were on Sora's side, stunning Sora as he knew how these races feared and hated the humans.
