In this story, Ainz and the MC have their own version of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, that enters the new world with them. How Azur Lane ties into the MC’s story is he added NPCs based off of Azur Lane's Iron Blood. Also spoilers for those who haven't read the Holy kingdom arc.

The Beginning of the tale

Years before the Canon story of Overlord, somewhere in the multiverse.

In the middle of an endless inky black ocean, a crumbling, fractured sky mirrored the dark sea.

As if he was a lone leaf on the surface of a stream, a average looking young man was sleeping soundly on top of the shadowy currents. Dissonant, unnatural whispers barely inaudible, constantly resounded, emanating from the gradual rising, and falling of the dark waves. A distant ringing of a bell broke through the somber setting, gradually increasing in volume. Hearing the bell, the young man slowly awoke sitting upright on the supernatural sea.

He said to himself; "What, it ACTUALLY worked…?"

The ringing of the bell rang clearly after these words; and a several stories high, dark hooded figure held the bell aloft as the enigmatic personage gazed down at him; a deep echoing voice came from the figure; "Welcome Mortal soul."

The young man froze up, at the appearance of the imposing figure.

The strange figure stood in place. The only movements of it were the gradual waving of the bell in hand.

After composing himself the young man asked; "What now?"

"You are no longer in your world, mortal explorer." "You have traveled to the realm of ^_)()~?+=][};{ a place where the likes of you were never supposed to tread."

"A no small feat for your kind. As such, I will grant you the opportunity to partake in a new life since coming here has cost you everything but your mind and soul."

 "Any preferences explorer?"

Taking in the words the figure spoke, the young man asked; "Thank you! Could I be reborn in the story of Overlord and be equal to Ainz in status in the new world?"

"Huh?" "Uh, explorer, what are you talking about?"

"Oh, you've never heard of it? Then let me tell you."

The young man delved into a passionate lengthy monologue about anime, and the story of the Overlord isekai.

As the young man explained, the hooded figure thoughtfully listened attentively to the young man's discourse.

After the young man finished speaking, the figure nodded; "It should be within my power. The multiverse is large and I have access to countless resources in it as the keeper of this realm of ^_)()~?+=][};{. The hooded figure Stretched forth his spare hand, pointing at the young man.

Softly his voice echoed; "-^_-/+="

Earth 2138 in the formerly named Tomb of Nazarick

Pov Player: Kommandant

Taking in the view of my Freude's flags in the throne room. I thought about my journey, that brought me to this moment.

My last moments of my life before this, traveling the world in search of a way to fulfill my dream. Those snow capped mountains and dark caverns, all of it for a chance to become a lucky Isekaied protagonist. To be honest it was foolish to do what I did but I just had to try. Even if it was a long shot. Well look at me now, ha. I can't wait to leave this dying world. Even though I've been born into a life of luxury in this world's standards, it still sucks. I miss nature and exploring.

But I wished Momonga was here with me. I hope he's doing ok. I heard from Touch Me that a gas explosion devastated the entire sector around when he went missing. Even if he survived and recovered his data, I doubt he'll be able to see what I've done with the place.

After I joined I spent pretty much most of my time on the new floor I added with my personal funds. They said the new floor was too large and frankly overkill. But It really proved it's worth when the invasion of the players happened. They never stood a chance against my Endless Legion of Krieg Death Korp NPCs and Iron Blood Floor Guardian Shipfu's. Long live the Homunculi race. Ah, good times.

I added the new floor in between Demiurge's 7th floor and the wilderness with Aureole Omega.

I remember when Ulbert declared the floor should be called the world of Homunculi, since every NPC on the floor is a homunculus in origin.

After a lot of grinding and luck, I came across three hidden world items that the Devs had tucked away. They were inspired apparently by the three goals of Alchemy. The Philosophers Stone which is on my person, the Aurum Potabile which is based off of the tales of the Elixir of Life, and Magnum Opus which is all about transmutation.

Utilizing these three world items in various combinations, can result in unique outcomes. Such as using Aurum Potabile and Magnum Opus in a guild base together, results in a customizable pop up homunculi mob that's available with purchase. That's how I created my army of level 45 Kreig troops. Sadly the level 45 was the max level for pop ups created with it. So I couldn't go any higher.

But their first showing was so epic. Swarming out of the fortifications, and into the dead man's land full of barbed wire at the entrance. While above them a constant barrage of Chain Dragon Lighting from their fellow pop ups, the tanks being manned, that were created with Magnum Opus systematically firing the tiered 8th level spell Explosion. It was so satisfying.

I will always cherish how those invading players lost their cool at the moment where I stood up atop the highest bunker flanked by my two lovely Bismarck Floor Guardians and exclaimed in chat; "Behold the power of money peasants!" And the chaos that ensued after my Bismarcks fired the super tier gunner casting of Nuclear Blast.

When I created my Bismarck's and the rest of the Iron blood shipfu NPCs I was quite grateful for my previous life's neuropsychological condition. In it I had Hyperthymesia, I still clearly remember the memories in this new life. I think it has something to do with the Keeper of the fray. He really is a thoughtful entity.

My in-game avatar is modeled after my personal favorite homunculi King Bradley. When I was choosing a heteromorph, I chose homunculus since the only racial penalty is increased eating. And a homunculus's life span in Yggdrasil lore just like other specific heteromorphs is apparently limitless. Similar to undead, demons, angels etc. I get to eat a lot of food and live forever in a humanlike body. I see it as a total win.

Looking around, I make eye contact with Albedo. She's currently wearing a slightly revealing red, white, black Germanic inspired officer outfit. Similar to what you would see from the Azur Fane Devs create for the Iron Blood Shipfus.

I created similar officer outfits for all the important NPCs. Thinking about it, I probably shouldn't Cocytus's one an outfit and more of just an officer's cap. But nevertheless it suits him.

I added a little to all the guardians bio just in case, ya know. Just mainly harmless stuff like, Cocytus loving German music and such. The only time I drastically added a change was for Albedo, Pandora's Actor, and Shalltear.

For Shalltear and Albedo I stated that they are both extremely attracted to my avatar's appearance, madly in love with me and full of utter sexual fidelity. It's a little bit paranoid. But my sixth sense is tingling about all this, that's why I also stated in Pandora's actor's bio that his deepest motivation is his loyalty to me.

How many minutes are left till the end? Five, alright let's do this.
