Chapter 22. I am your husband!

Kian ended up waiting together with Emiliano in an elegant reception room.

Two female assistants had intercepted them before they could get any further into the VIP rooms. Then they served them some refreshing and fragrant tea to wait.

"Where is the woman who entered before me?" Kian asked one of the assistants without drinking the tea. "Bring her here immediately."

The two women saw each other and nodded. "We'll let her know you're here, Mr. Hart."

They were left alone but Kian was anxious. He didn't know why but he was eager to see her. However, the reason was not entirely the Carlton's party or Marina.

On the other hand, Emiliano seemed to have fallen into a deep slumber as soon as he tasted the tea.

Kian frowned and walked over to take Emiliano's pulse; he was just asleep. He had his bodyguards come immediately.

Then he didn't care anymore, he couldn't wait any longer. He had to see her.
