Chapter One - A Painful Farewell

Some time ago when I no longer knew what else to do, so that everything would return to what it was, when we were just beginning our ninja path, but no matter how much effort I made, trained to exhaustion, nothing was enough.

And you get to a point where it all becomes too much, where we're too tired to keep fighting, so we give up, even if being a ninja doesn't allow such a thing, emotionally you give up, but that's where the work begins, that I learned it from Naruto, to find hope where there seems to be none.

It was from that attitude that I drew strength to continue fighting for a love that I knew perfectly well would never be returned, for years still trying to make a little progress but in return I only received painful words from that person, it is difficult for me to have it in front of me and not to be able to walk beside him.

I saw how everyone was trapped in a deep sleep because of Madara, just a few minutes ago we were able to seal Kaguya again.

I saw my sensei's sadness at losing a friend again, and Naruto's sadness at seeing his father leave, but I also had to see with pain how even after all this war Sasuke planned to fight to the death with Naruto no matter what has passed tears gathered in my eyes, I took a look at my sensei still tired from the fight at my side, seeing him in that state made me unable to hold back the tears, I felt that at any moment I would lose all of them, my family.

I determinedly looked at Sasuke and Naruto, there was no way I could stop that fight, it hurt me when Sasuke told me not to get involved as if my presence annoyed him more and more.

Sakura - "I know! I know I can't do anything!" - Pronounce sadly. - "I love you, but I didn't think you would end up like this, I couldn't help you when you needed it and I couldn't stop you either."

I saw how he stopped walking and Naruto looked at me carefully along with Kakashi, I felt ridiculous crying again, I was no longer a girl but it was impossible not to feel bad seeing the team so destroyed swallowing my tears I spoke again.

- "That day I could only stand like a coward and cry, it was pathetic" - More sadness flooded me when I remembered that moment. - "If I still have a place in your heart, no matter how small, don't do this crazy thing, please don't go! If you come back, maybe everything would be like before."

Kakashi looked at me sadly and that only confirmed how pathetic I was looking at that moment, I got up as best I could keeping my knees still on the ground, helping Kakashi to do the same when I looked towards Sasuke I saw him looking at me with a mocking smile on his face, that hurt me, nothing I said mattered to him, I knew it, but something in me always made me try harder and harder to get to him.

Sasuke - "You are still stupid Sakura, not even after all these years do you stop being that pathetic crying girl I knew" - He pronounced with disdain.

I heard in the background the complaints of the rest of the group when he finished speaking but I couldn't move, something made me freeze, my eyes fixed on his rinegan that had been activated in my direction, and after that, an impact happened.

I widened my eyes in shock when I understood what had just happened, I looked down at my chest only to see Sasuke's hand going through it, I spit out a lot of blood, I was a mendicant ninja and I knew what that meant, I spit blood again when Sasuke easily pulled his arm out of my body.

The other two ninjas watched in horror as she fell completely limp to the floor, Kakashi quickly reacted and grabbed her arm, while Naruto took advantage of Sasuke's stunned state to knock him out with a blow.

They saw the huge wound on her chest, she opened her eyes with effort, Kakashi could detect the beating of her weak heart.

Kakashi - "Quickly, Sakura use ninjutsu, try to heal it, come on, hold on, we'll take you to the hospital" - The white-haired man spoke desperately when he saw that once again what happened when they were children was repeated, he saw how Sakura shook her head slowly, implying that she couldn't.

Naruto - "Sakura-chan resist you are a medical ninja you can heal yourself come on" - He commented desperate for the life of his friend. - "Kakashi-sensei do something!" - He shouted upset when he saw that his Sensei just stared at the scene.

Sakura - "I... I can't... can't... I won't get to the village" - She commented weakly.

Kakashi - "Don't try too hard Sakura resist you'll be fine" - He was talking trying to find a solution to what was happening in front of him, he couldn't believe what his student had just done with his partner, he would get to kill her this time.

Sakura - "T.... the wound... doesn't want to close... I feel internal bleeding... sensei I won't make it" - She pronounced now in a small voice. - "S... sorry Sensei... I... I can't" - She whispered weaker and weaker, tears fell from her face, she looked fragile and weak.

Kakashi - "Don't say that, Sakura, you'll be fine, let's show that you're strong" - He spoke now with a broken voice from seeing his little student in that state.

Naruto - "Come on, Sakura-chan, you'll get out of this, you're strong" - The blond spoke desperately, he didn't want to believe that his friend would die.

Sakura - "Thank you for being in... my life... for being my family" - She pronounced now with effort, she knew she wouldn't last long. - "Naruto promises me that you will be a great Hokage ... take care of them sensei." - She felt tired without strength. - "P.. please make Sa... Sasuke go back to... the village" - She lost her voice, she felt that she was choking with her blood.

Kakashi - "You can see all that sakura, just hold on tight" - By this point, he was also crying, just like Naruto.

Naruto - "Come on, we'll take Sasuke to the village together, you just have to hold on" - Naruto wasn't stupid, he knew he would lose his friend, he turned his gaze to Sasuke only to see him standing looking at the scene with his eyes wide open, he seemed in shock. - "Are you happy now?! Look how you left Sakura!" - He shouted in the direction of the dark-haired man.

This one for his part did not know how to react, his action had been an impulse, and the emotions were completely seized.

Sakura closed her eyes slowly, the voices of her partner and sensei became simple murmurs in the distance, she was sad for her end, if she had known she would have said goodbye to her friends, to Tsunade who was like a second mother to her, to Ino, wanting that pain to stop, she drifted off to sleep that gave her a sense of peace and tranquility.

So with those thoughts, Sakura gave her last breath, while Naruto seeing this understood that he had lost her and he cried, he was a ninja and he was not supposed to show pain, death was part of ninja life but that did not matter to him, her death hurt him deeply, and he felt anger at Sasuke for having done this to her, also anger at himself for not having done something to prevent it, first it was Neji now he also lost Sakura an important part of his family, he was sure he would make Sasuke pay.

On the other hand, Kakashi just looked at the body of his student in his arms, he didn't know what to say or how to react to this, his student had died, that hit him hard, he felt the same pain as when he lost his family and friends over the years, Sakura was like a daughter to him, although she was not constantly in his life as well as that of his two students, she was the one he saw the most in the village and from afar she always followed in his footsteps, being proud of her achievements.

Still angry, with his student in his arms he faced Sasuke who was still in shock.

Kakashi - "Sakura always wanted to save you, always" - He said with anger and desperation to see that his student didn't react to what he just did.

For his part, Sasuke felt a wave of anger upon hearing his sensei's words, always remembering that the pink-haired girl lived harassing him and crying when he rejected her, she didn't understand that he didn't feel anything for her.

Sasuke - "Wouldn't you be having fun playing romance?" - He speak with indifference even though deep down he felt guilty but his pride was stronger. - "I never understood what it was that she saw me, I don't like anything about her" - He spoke coldly again.

Kakashi - "Reasons are only needed when it comes to hating someone, she only wanted to be with you, despite the bad reputation she always defended you, she never wanted to make you hers, she wanted to be accepted at least a little" - He said angrily. - "Look what you did, this girl you just killed, she cried every time she remembered you, she trained day and night just to bring you back, she loved you so much that she suffered, and it seems that you don't even care" - He shouted already totally angry.

He left a clone to hold Sakura, he would also fight, and so the three prepared for the fight, two with desperate emotions for the loss of the female and one hoping to end this once and for all.

You could see 6 people watching the previous scene, the three men in the room did not show any kind of emotion on their faces, but the other three remaining women did.

The first had a grimace of annoyance on her beautiful face, she held in her hands a huge black thread which was broken, a part of it fell on the ground whose end was inside a mirror which showed the scene of those ninjas, the other end of the thread lay strongly held in the hands of the woman.

She was the Goddess of Destiny in charge of the lives of humans, regardless of the world they are in. She was aware of the life of all living beings.

The Goddess did not look happy about the fate of the pink-haired girl, for the simple fact that this was not the end she should have.

At her side was a woman with blonde hair like gold, she was known to be the Goddess Hecate even though her blessed ones called her Mother Magic, she had an expression of total sadness when she saw the poor end of the girl, dying at the hands of the person who should have loved you was horrible according to her opinion the poor girl had loved that black-haired man until the last breath, she felt empathy.

The other woman on the left side of Destiny shared the same feeling, she was the one who gave life to Sakura in her mother's womb, the one who saw her grow up, she hated seeing these kinds of moments for her as a princess of life to see humans dying was not pretty at all, the poor girl died so young as many in that war that they have just witnessed through the mirror. She looked at her husband Morte as he walked slowly towards the mirror, she knew what he would do, he would pick up all those souls from the battlefield including the girls.

M. Magic - "Wait!" - She stop Morte's walk, he instantly obeyed his creator's order, attracting with him the attention of the others present. - "I want the soul of the girl" - She pronounced calmly, making Destiny see her intrigued and with an imperceptible smile on her face knowing in advance what Magic would do but still asking.

Destiny - "What are you planning to do Hecate, the girl must go to the world of the dead like everyone else" - She said pretending not to know anything.

Hefesto - "Honey, you can't do anything for the girl, she doesn't belong to your world, let Morte take her so that her soul rests" - The God of the forge pronounced towards his wife, trying to get her to discard the idea of ​​having such a broken soul.

Cronos - "He's right Hecate, that world doesn't belong to you, her soul isn't yours, the girl has already suffered a lot at the hands of her fated, don't you think it's time for her to rest now?" - He spoke, the God of time and husband of Destiny.

M. Magic - "But it's not fair what happened to her" - She try to argue.

Destiny - "Since when is fair Hecate? Remember that the girl is a ninja, death was present in her life all the time" - She spoke, also remembering the death of the other boy trapped in that war and suffering all his life just for belonging to another branch of the family.

M. Magic - "I know it's not easy but she also deserves a new opportunity, we have given a new one to many people who deserved it in that world as well as in others" - She speaks, looking for a way to help her. - "You saw how she spent her whole life after that child, and why, to die like that, without being happy?" - She speak already with anger that they did not want to help her.

Cronos - "If given a chance, where exactly do you want to send her Hecate?" - Spoke surrendered by the insistence of his sister, deep down he also wanted to give it a chance but would not say it out loud.

M. Magic - "To mine" - She spoke decisively. - "I want her to go to mine I will give her magic" - She spoke already imagining the girl using her blessing.

Destiny - "Hecate, your world already has an end, remember, the girl has just died and you will send her to a world where there will be extinction" - She said mockingly at her friend's crazy idea. - "Remember that your blessed ones condemned themselves by revealing themselves to the outside world, you cannot send the girl in the middle of a witch hunt" - Already with a grimace when seeing many threads being broken one after another in that mirror.

M.Magic - "Their bad decisions had a lot of influence, yes, but because they faithfully followed a manipulator, she can change it, I will send her right where the triggering factor began, I have the intuition that she can change many things" - She said with a look that clearly said she has hope for that achievement.

Vite - "And where would that time be my lady?" - She asks with intrigue and respect towards one of its creators.

M. Magic - "The time when everyone was young, where many decisions had not been taken and harmed so much" - She said with a smile seeing that everyone was considering it.

Chronos - "Do you plan to alter the time of your world? What role would the girl play in that world? You can't send her just like that" - He spoke believing that this idea was crazy, his sister was desperate, it was a fact.

Hefesto - "As you intend to alter the course of your blessed with a girl who has nothing in that world, you must reconsider the option" - Her husband spoke after keeping silent thinking about the pros and cons of that idea.

M. Magic - "It is a new opportunity for her and the magical world as well, I will not send her like that, just like that" - She speaks aware of what her idea implied.

Destiny - "Okay" - She finally spoke. - "I'll give the girl a chance, and your world too, I hope you know what you're doing Hecate, the girl will preserve her memories and I want to see what she'll be capable of in your world knowing this" - She said with some amusement at the last part.

Destiny only made things more interesting than they already were without knowing what would happen in the future when two timelines joined, she knew in advance all the variants of what would happen in that world with her arrival but none was definitive, she had to wait to see what happened next to the others.

Cronos - "I suppose that you will give such information to the girl right?" - Asked smiling at his sister to see that she got away with it, they were not satisfied with the fate sealed in the world of magic.

Magic nodded with a smile of gratitude and ordered Morte to bring her soul.

After having seen that a decision was made, he made his way to the mirror quickly passing through taking the form of the shinigami of the ninjas and collecting all the fallen souls in that place including Sakura's, this was sent to another site where the new destination would be sealed.

Narrate Sakura

I didn't know how to describe this feeling, it's been a long time since I felt calm, the last thing I remember was Sasuke putting his arm through my chest, then saying goodbye to Naruto and Kakashi, and then only darkness.

Instinctively I looked at my chest to give me when it was no longer there, neither were my clothes, I only wore a simple but beautiful white dress, remembering those moments hurt me, I had died at the hands of the person I loved the most, tears ran down my cheeks again as they fell in the reality.

What am I supposed to do now?

Looking around me, I realized that I was on what seemed like a path with lights, that environment made me feel strangely calm, walking along the illuminated path I reached the top of a large staircase, I looked with fascination at the lights that floated above it.

At the top of this, I saw a somewhat old house but I was curious to see what was there.

I went up touching from time to time some light that approached me, once I reached that house I realized that it seemed more like a temple the place seemed abandoned but well cared for at the same time.

Sakura - "What place is this?" - I asked myself aloud while detailing the place more until I felt a soft voice like whispers behind me, I jumped out of fright when I heard it because I had not perceived anyone in this place.

??? - "This place is for the chosen souls, little one, just like you, many have passed through this place" - Commented the woman who had just appeared in front of me, she was beautiful, with blonde hair like Ino's, beautiful body and had a beautiful dress.

Sakura - "Who are you? And what is that about selected souls" - I asked cautiously preparing to fight if the case merited, I saw how she smiled at me when she noticed my mistrust as if she expected such an action on my part.

She walked to the porch of the sanctuary and sat on it, patting her side and inviting her to sit with her but she didn't.

Sakura - "I'm not going to ask again, who are you supposed to be?" - I ask again.

??? - "Well, it's hard to explain" - She still spoke softly, she looked at her with a smile full of feelings that the ninja didn't want to decipher because she felt that if she did, she would start to cry. - "My name is Hecate, better known for being the Goddess of Magic" - She commented calmly, Sakura's mind went blank upon hearing her words.

Magic? Was that even real?

Sakura - "How can that be possible, I never saw people who possessed magic, you're lying" - She said frowning knowing that she was possibly lying.

M. Magic - "That's because in your world there are no beings blessed by me, you have chakra, you don't need magic."

Worlds? What did she mean by that, she saw her and smile once more at her confusion. Didn't she ever get tired of smiling? She thought she stopped her ramblings when she heard her laugh.

- "You don't think that only your world exists right" - She commented with what seemed to be amusement.

Sakura - "What do you mean by that, explain to me" - She spoke firmly.

She patted her side again, indicating for her to sit next to her, hesitating a little Sakura sat down but a little far away, she still did not fully trust her, instead Magic gave her another more of her bright smiles as if she knew all her thoughts and that it didn't bother her.

Hecate was amused by the thoughts of the girl next to her, and she was also amused by her actions, it seems that not even after death did she leave her instincts, she decided to continue with her talk once she saw that she sat down.

M.Magic - "There are several small worlds, each of them with different cultures and different ways of life, my brother Cronos commands yours, that of the ninjas while I am in charge of the world of wizards even in this one too there are people without magic who don't know about the existence of this" - She began to talk calmly once she saw that she had her attention.

Sakura - "If yours is that of the wizards, what are you doing here? I thought the shinobi God was Rikudo Ototsuki" - The pink-haired woman commented without knowing that through a mirror a blonde-haired man insulted the hell and out.

'Damn three-eyed mortals who believe they are Gods just for floating and having children with tails' - And at his side four people watching that act with amusement.

Magic - "That man is only a mortal who received such a title through mortals, little one, but he is not the God of that world" - She spoke looking at the girl, who in turn nodded, understanding what was said. - "The fact that I am here is because I saw how you died" - She spoke softly this time knowing that that fact could still hurt her and it did, she saw how the tears fell down her cheeks again, trying to make her feel better she ran her hand through the girl's hair in comfort. - "Your life was not to have ended that way so I asked to give you a second chance" - She spoke again.

Sakura looked up quickly when hearing those words - 'Another chance, I would live again' - Was the only thing that sounded in her mind.

Sakura - "I'll be able to live again" - She asks hopefully.

M. Magic - "Yes, but not in the world from which you come, things don't work like that" - She commented when she saw that she thinks of returning to that world from which she came.

On the other hand, all joy left Sakura's body knowing that she will not return to see her friends and loved ones.

Sakura - "Why can't I go back to him" - She asks sadly.

M. Magic - "Your life in that world ended the moment you died" - She said with some sadness when she saw the state of the girl next to her. - "You have to understand that some endings are happy, others are just necessary, you are being given an opportunity so that you can live, do not be tormented by a 'would have' in that world, it is time to move forward" - She said with a tone of affection towards the girl.

Sakura - "And where will I go? What am I supposed to do" - She ask trying to accept that she wouldn't go back to Konoha no matter how painful it was to accept it.

M. Magic - "You will go to my world, I want you to go to it" - She said happy to see progress in the conversation, Sakura was surprised by this news, going to a world where there is magic.

Sakura - "I don't have magic, you said it yourself, I don't know how magic is used either" - She said starting to shake her head at such an idea.

M.Magic - "Don't worry, you will learn to master it well, you proved to be an excellent ninja in chakra control, magic is almost the same, only something freer, and sometimes it acts on its own" - She said with amusement when she saw the confused face of the girl before the last part.

Sakura - "Does it have a life of its own? I don't understand much but I guess I'll accept the new opportunity, I'm afraid to start from scratch" - Said the girl raising her fist strongly giving encouragement and determination to herself.

M.Magic - "These are wise little words, one more thing, it was decided to leave you with memories of your world, clearly your chakra as well as your current power, Destiny thinks it's a good idea to send you with such knowledge" - She said happily seeing the surprise and joy on Sakura's face.

Sakura - "It means that I will be able to conserve my chakra, that makes me very happy, but...." - She spoke, leaving her happiness aside and becoming somewhat thoughtful. - "How am I supposed to survive in that place by myself? Will I have a family?" - She asked when noticing that detail.

M.Magic - "Don't worry, darling, I'll take care of that inconvenience once you get there, now tell me, are you ready to start your new life?" - She asked, standing up from where they were sitting and stretching out her hand towards the girl.

Although she doubt it for a moment, those ideas vanished quickly she took Hecate's hand with strength.

Sakura - "I know it won't be easy, but I know it will be worth it" - She said with a new determination, Hecate smiled happy to see her will.

She couldn't wait to see the achievements of the girl in her world, that the magical world prepare that is about to become a chaos of so many surprises.
