An Interesting Lunch

" You four go ahead and go in I think I'll introduce myself to the new Rare Blood. " She said dismissing the twins and Koku and Kaen.

They scrambled in and I expected a mean girl to come out of this girl but when she turned back to me she was still kind looking.

" Can you show me your powers, ..... " She started but remembered she didn't know my name.

" My name is you can call me Angel. " I said smiling.

" Mine is Neichāzu Chikara. You may call me Kara. " She said hugging me out of nowhere.

I wasn't going to lie to myself, it did feel nice to be hugged and feel welcomed.

" I will have to warn you the two you're about to meet are new too they arrived a month ago and their powers prove to be very deadly, but they act like pigs and flirt with every girl that has your color hair. " She chuckled dryly.

" Great " I edged.

" Their names are Tairyō Teiden and Ikatteiru Tenki. They are natural born soldiers and are equally in tuned. They aren't twins but they are nonetheless brothers with a connection " She explained.

" You mean one of them has telekinesis? " I asked.

" Tenki does but his main power is worse. " She grimaced.

" What is it? " I asked.

" Atmokinesis " She said turning the door knob.

" What does that mean? " I asked confused..

" You'll find out soon. " she said opening the door.

She gestured me to walk inside and I walked in and looked around the place.

The room wasn't like the small house I grew up in, this one was bigger and much more attractive. The floors were dark wood and the walls were dark Mosaic Tiles. The layout was clear but it was obvious that this wasn't a long stay for the others. The room was well furnished and was full of decor. The furniture was a dark brown to match the walls. The rest was similar and the walls were covered in framed pictures, hanging lights, books and more random decorations.

Kara led me through a small hallway and as I entered the room two heads snapped towards me and they jumped up out of their chairs and looked ready to kill me. In reflex I turned transparent daring them to make a move.

" Sit Down! " Kaen ordered coming from a door way on the opposite side of the dining room.

The dining room had a big table to fit everyone. The table was carved out of rich mahogany and so were the matching chairs that were placed neatly around the table. The table was already set and I spied a variety of veggies and fruits. The meat sat in the center and was already sliced no doubt for Sozo and Hokai.

The two relax slightly but they never once take their eyes off me for a second.

" She is a Rare Blood. " Kaen said flatly.

" I can see that. Now." The white haired one said.

" Well, welcome, my name's Tenki and this here is Teiden. " Tenki introduced.

" Mine is Angel " I said turning visible again.

" Angel! " Sozo shouted as she walked out of what I guessed was the bathroom.

" Hi! " I chuckled.

" You can sit between Hokai and I. Come sit down! " She said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the chair beside Hokai who smiled and waved.

The others followed suit and soon we were already making our plates.

" So, Kara. Have you found anything? " Kaen asked.

" No, Not yet. " She said shaking her head sadly.

" Maybe that's a good thing. That means that they may be alive after all. " Teiden

" Don't get your hopes up yet Teiden " Tenki said grimly.

" Who may be still alive? " I asked.

Everybody in the room shared a wary glance at each other, well, except Sozo. Sozo looked ready to cry and without thinking I grabbed her little hand. I guess it was a habit from when I used to comfort my sister and Sozo looked like she needed someone to do the same for her.

" They are the other children of our group. The adults were all killed because they stayed behind to protect us and they died doing it and still most of the other kids scattered and are still nowhere to be found. " Tenki explained.

" What is the age range? " I asked dreading the results.

" Anywhere from eight to sixteen. " Kaen answered.

I gulped down a big spoonful of food but wasn't able to hide my horror.

Out of nowhere my voice decided to speak for itself.

" I wanna help find them! " I blurted.

" Why would we let you help hunt when we don't know a damn thing about you. We don't even know all of what you can do! Pass me the damn Carrots " Teiden balked.

" Sure " I said

My voice was sweet but coated with venom. I raised my hand and, as if it knew what to do, it glowed white. I raised one delicate finger towards the bowl of carrots. It slowly floated upwards and on command slowly floated over to Teidens spot at the table.

" That's so cool! " The twins said clapping.

I smiled and Sozo smiled back while Hokai was too busy watching the floating bowl.

" Go ahead, Take it. Shouldn't be difficult for a mighty soldier, right? " I taunted.

He snarled but grabbed it but I made it move to the right. He grabbed at it again and it moved left and on and on it went till the warrior got so angry that he raised his own hand up and his hand glowed also. I stood up as I felt resistance against my hold on the bowls gravity. I began to lose control of the gravity but I closed my eyes in concentration. I opened them again and found that Teiden was struggling as well.

Everyone began to edge away from the carrot bowl and Sozo looked even more surprised but instead of looking at the bowl she was looking at me. She was beaming and clapping, her and her brother were the only ones who didn't move away.

I realized how petty this was and how much of a waste it was to use my powers for petty revenge but I wasn't going to let him go away from the table without a small amount of food on his shirt. I willed my power to weaken and Teiden sat down still holding the bowl.

" Let go of the Bowl, Teiden. " I said.

" Not until you promise not to send it flying in my face. " he smirked.

" I promise. " I said. My fingers were crossed but he couldn't see it anyways.

He released his hold on it and I felt full control as I sent it to him. I released hold on the bowl which was still in the air a few inches from his head, and it fell into his hand but not before sloshing carrot juice onto his shirt and a few carrots even landed in his hair.

" Damn, Bitch. " He mumbled angrily.

I wasn't the only one laughing at Teiden. Everyone else was too even Tenki was trying to fight the laughter threatening to come from his lips.

Soon lunch was over and we were cleaning the kitchen. Sozo and Hokai flew into the kitchen and started tugging on my jacket again.

" What is it? " I chuckled.

" Come play with us, come play with us! " They chanted.

Kara who was helping me with the dishes pointed them out the door.

" She'll be right out but she needs to get changed okay? " She said pushing them out of the front door and shutting it behind them.

" Go ahead, I'll finish them. There is a room ready for you and clothes are in the large closet. Best not leave them waiting for too long. " She said chuckling.

" Alright, if you need anything else cleaned don't be afraid to call me. " I said.

I walked into the longest hall with doors labeled, which I realized that they had little hanging signs that said whose room was whose.

Karas' room was on my left and the twins' room was on my right. My sign was just like the others and as I walked into the room I realized that the place was bare besides the bed, dresser, bedside table, lamp, bathroom and a TV on a large type of vanity cabinet. I found the closet easily and when I opened the door my mouth dropped open. These outfits were all uniforms. Everything in here had the same symbol.

The symbol was made the same way as a yin and Yang but one side was black and one side was a dark scarlet red. The letter on the dark red side was black and had a Dragon shaped into a R . The other side had a blood Red Dragon shaped into the letter B. On the Bottom of the symbol had letters shaped by dragons and spelled Guard. Dragons circled the outside of the symbol and as they reached the top of their heads. They curled on the sides of the Symbol and stopped at the top where the heads faced each other. It was a badass symbol that I slowly realized stood for us. The Rare Bloods have our own symbol. The Rare Blood Guard had their own flag. I had my own flag.

I walked in the closet full of emblazoned uniforms of all designs and styles

I searched through the shirts first and practically groaned at the lack of my taste. I found one that does go with my preference but it's more goth than I liked. I looked through the rest and sighed there isn't anything else that catches my eye so I grabbed the black Pentagon velour crop tank top and put it on the bed. I searched through the pants and shorts next. I was excited to find black Pentagram Leg Harness Pants that had metal buckles. I looked to find if they had matching shorts. After a few seconds I found the black Pentagram side lace mini shorts that went with the top. After that I looked at shoes and found a pair of black Platform Block High heeled, metal buckle and leather strapped, rivet lace up ankle boots.

I noticed that there was a note on the dresser saying that I was required to wear the Guard symbol. Under the note lay a black rope bracelet with the guard symbol tied to the black ropes. I put it on and grabbed the necklace with the guard symbol as well. Once I had everything on I was ready to go. I walked out of the room and into the hallway and as I was walking I bumped into something hard and hot.

I blink twice and peer up from the large muscled chest. My gaze drifts up and travels to Tenki who was smiling a crooked grin. I automatically jerk back taking a step backwards.

" Um, Sorry. " I muttered my cheeks heating.

" Maybe, watch where you're going. Though I can't deny I haven't had a girl so desperate to feel my warmth. " He smiled more at himself than at me.

My entire face heated up and Tenki roared in laughter.

I grumbled and fixed my hair and walked off shaking my ass as I walked away from him. I reached the door and my brain decided to go into the gutter. I turned around and thankfully he was still watching me. I gave him a dirty smile.

" Just so you know, I can get any guy I want to light me up. " I said winking at him before slamming the door behind me.

I smiled at myself and thought how nice it would be if I could get any guy I wanted to please me.
