Chapter 33

Zzzax was lying on the floor unconscious. Tony scanned him to see if he had other abnormalities. After his scan came clean, they gathered to discuss what they would do next.

"What should we do with him? I don't think a regular prison could hold him," said Steve

"Does SHIELD have a prison for him?" asked Ace

"I could make a containment field to hold, but it is going to take time," said Tony

"What Hulk do now?"

"Make sure he doesn't suddenly escape Hulk. Think you could do that?" asked Ace

Hulk agreed and watched over Zzzax in case he regained consciousness.

"Come to think of it. Where did this guy come from? Is he an experiment gone wrong?" asked Ace

"Let me check the nearby cameras to see if we can find anything." 

Tony let Jarvis hack the cameras and trace Zzzax's movements. Jarvis then forwarded the footage and summary of Zzzax's creation. He told the same story to Steve and Ace, and the two of them were very surprised.

"To think a nuclear reactor exploding would create such a being. Is it just a coincidence, or was it deliberate for his creation?" asked Steve, pondering out loud.

"Probably a coincidence. You would be surprised how many metahumans are created accidentally. I mean, the Hulk's case should be the same. Didn't he get exposed to gamma radiation that should have killed him? All you need is some radioactive waste and some luck, and boom! You're a brand new metahuman."

"That doesn't make any sense," said Tony

"That just shows how weird and confusing our world is getting into. By the way, didn't you say a terrorist group attacked the plant and set off bombs? We should probably go after them; who knows if they accidentally create another of this guy." said Ace.

"You're right, Tony. Can you pursue them?" asked Steve

"Jarvis already tracked them down."

"Then you better capture them."

"Wait, I'll come with you," said Ace

"I can handle this myself, and can you fly?" said Tony

"Just give me a second."

Ace switched the Fullbottles to the Taka and Gatling Fullbottle.

Build now has orange and silver segmented armor. He has orange wings on his back.

|With the Taka Fullbottle, Build gains flight capabilities through the wings on his back. His eyes can instantly lock on to moving targets from several kilometers away, and he is excellent at aerial searches. It has excellent visibility during the night as well.

The Gatling Fullbottle allows him to create bullets that bypass enemy defenses or cause explosions. These bullets also possess homing capabilities.|

"It is very convenient that you can change your equipment on the fly," said Tony, a bit envious. He still hadn't found a way to make his armor portable like Kamen Rider without sacrificing performance.

Build only shrugs. "I'm sure you will find a way soon enough, Tony.'

"Is the announcement really necessary?" asked Steve

"Of course! Not only does it inspire people, but it is also cool!" said Ace, full of confidence.

"Right…" Steve couldn't really agree, probably because he lived in a different era.

"Anyway, let's go, Tony. I hope those terrorists had not gone too far,"

Build unfurls his wings and soars to the sky. Tony follows him to chase down the fleeing terrorists. Steve stayed with Hulk to watch over Zzzax.

The terrorists are currently fleeing in a getaway vehicle from the plant they just blew up. Upon witnessing Zzzax emerge from the wreckage, a monster made of energy-consuming people, they were overcome with fear. They sprinted even faster to distance themselves as much as possible from the monstrous being.

"Do you think they were conducting human experiments in that plant?" said one of the terrorists.

"I don't care! We just have to get away as fast as possible right now. The only good thing is that the monster is distracting the pigs instead of chasing us."

They believed they had successfully distanced themselves from the monster and felt safe, but suddenly, the car's wheels in front of them were destroyed. The vehicle skidded to a halt, causing a chain reaction that also brought all other cars to a stop.

"What the hell! What just happened."

"Shit! We're fucked! It's Iron Man!"

The terrorists gazed at the sky and saw Iron Man and Build looking down at them. Realizing escape was impossible, they felt their hearts sink into their stomachs.

"Okay, everyone. Hands up where I can see them. Surrender now, and maybe we don't have to rough you up before sending you all behind bars." said Tony

The terrorists did not want to comply. They knew how powerful Iron Man was, but they were stubborn. They did not want to go to jail, so they decided to push their luck and fight. They aimed their weapons at Iron Man and Build, ready to shoot.

"They never listen," said Tony

"Want to bet who can defeat the most of them," said Ace

"You're on"

The terrorists shoot, but Tony and Build can resist the bullets. Iron Man shoots his repulsors at the terrorists, knocking them away. He shoots small projectiles from his shoulders, and it electrocutes some of the terrorists, knocking them out.

Build holds the Hawk Gatlinger, a six-muzzle revolver gun to shoot at the terrorists. The bullets are made of rubber and could incapacitate people. Build shoots in an arc, and the bullets fired curve to hit their targets.

One of the terrorists aims at Ace with an RPG and shoots.

"Where do these terrorists find something like that?" complained Ace

Ace took to the skies and dodged the RPG. He then shoots it and explodes mid-air. Ace dives toward the shooter and kicks him, sending him flying and tumbling to the ground.

Build then started punching and kicking the terrorists, and they all fell after a few hits. After a few moments, the terrorists all lay on the floor in pain. Some were unlucky and had a few broken bones, but all were alive.

"Ha, I win. My count was 12," said Tony, confident in his victory.

"Sorry to say this, but I beat 14 of them."

"Nope, You counted wrong. Heck, you only took them down before the shock did."

The two bickered before SHIELD agents arrived to arrest the terrorists. One of the female officers approached them.

"Iron Man, Kamen Rider, we will take it from here."

"It is great that you are taking them off our hands, but what about the big yellow guy?" Tony asked.

"Other SHIELD agents are handling him. We are investigating the origins of the monster. We will be interrogating these guys if they have any clues."

"Well, it is in your hands now."

The SHIELD agents rounded up the terrorists while Build and Tony returned to Avengers Tower. When they arrived, Captain America and Hulk were already there.

"Did you two arrest them?" asked Steve.

"Yes, we stopped them. SHIELD agents handled the rest. They will be the ones interrogating them." said Ace

"That's good; they also took away this Zzzax guy. I will need to ask Fury where they are taking him."

"Yeah, do they even have a cage for him? They'll probably come to ask me to build one for them soon," Tony said arrogantly.

"Well, at least we all stopped him. It is too bad a lot of people were killed."

"Don't be sad, Rider. We save people. That is what's important." said Hulk

"Haha, thanks for cheering me up, friend."

…

The four continued to hang out in Avengers Tower until Natasha came in.

"Oh, hey Nat, welcome back. This is Rider; come and meet him," said Tony, a bit drunk.

"Nice to see you again, Black Widow," said Ace

"Have you two met?" asked Tony

"She might have ambushed me, and I beat the crap out of her."

"Seriously? Did Fury send you after him?"

"I won't confirm or deny that. Nice meeting you again, Rider," said Natasha.

"Well, aren't you two close," said Tony sarcastically

"What are you doing here?" asked Natasha

"Tony invited me; since I had nothing to do, I might as well visit the famous Avengers Tower and meet my friend, Hulk."

"I guess you boys had your fun," said Natasha

"Hell yeah, we did. We just took down a monster made of electricity and stopped terrorists in one afternoon," said Tony

"I've heard. SHIELD notified me of your escapade."

"What are you doing here, Nat? You usually are on missions; are you just here to relax," asked Steve.

"No, Fury sent me to contact Kamen Rider here. Since you are here, I thought I would make my job easier."

"I still won't join SHIELD or the Avengers," said Ace

"I know, this isn't about that. It is the other thing you mentioned. Fury wants to meet you."

Ace raised an eyebrow. 'I guess he found out about Hydra, but what does he want with me? Well, it wouldn't hurt to meet him. I wanted to meet him face to face.'

"Okay, where do we meet?"

"Follow me."

Natasha leads Ace away to meet Fury, leaving the rest of the Avengers confused and thinking about what Fury wants with Ace.
