Chapter 131: Upgrade

One sound of a boiling hot tea pot later...
As I prepared the tea for the morning, Serena got up and helped get a couple tea cups for us. As we were still in our nightwear, I saw Serena wiggle her butt a bit as she did. She was only covered by her panties, so it was hard not to at least take a glance.
Thankfully I didn't have morning wood to deal with this morning, so this morning was pretty relaxed for the three of us.
The tea pot was very hot since it still had boiling water inside of it. I proceeded with caution as Serena placed the cups on the table, followed by placing a tea bag into each one. As I poured the water, the tea bags slowly turned green.
"Thank you.", Lillie said with a smile, placing her hands on it to feel the warmth of the cup. We all took a moment or two to cool down the tea to an appropriate temperature before taking our sips. As we drank it, our bodies and mood became relaxed. The news on the large tv continued to play in the background. On it we were looking over in the Kanto section, and it appeared there was an Officer Jenny currently reporting on screen.
"...We advise caution for trainers going out and about in the Kanto region. Please do not encounter members of Team Rocket should you come across them. We have received a report stating that Team Rocket has started to use Pokemon that will attack anyone on sight recently. We are currently unsure of the cause, but we received confirmation from the Elite Four that they are currently handling this matter. Once again, we advise Trainers and civilians alike to take caution when travelling...", An Officer Jenny said as she currently appeared in the Kanto screen, giving everyone a warning. We blinked at Officer Jenny after she gave us this notification.
"Shadow Pokemon, eh? That sounds like a hassle to deal with. Isn't that what you talked about with that boss guy?", Serena wondered.
"Pretty much, although it was just briefly. We did make a deal that as long as they don't trouble us, we won't trouble them. It's not like we're heroes or anything. Just three people enjoying a journey together. I for one would not like to meddle much with a criminal organization. That's why we have those detectives and officers like Officer Jenny here.", I answered, nodding my head a bit.
"Right? It just sounds like too much of a hassle. I did see one or two strutting about back when we were in Celadon but thankfully it seemed Team Rocket isn't present much in Fuchsia. And we're now in Viridian again for a day, so I doubt they'll try anything funny.", Lillie said, enjoying another sip of her tea.
We all nodded our heads to that. We were pretty much in agreement on this matter. Since that was the case, I decided to have a look at the other panels to see if anything interesting was going on.
For what's happening in Johto, they were talking about what's been popular to broadcast on radio stations and livestreams. With technology growing, it's been becoming more and more modern. Individuals have been becoming popular turning their radio shows into live-streaming. And for this particular matter, I did have a surprise for Serena and Lillie that I'll give them in a few after we start going over the new data we got for our new Pokemon.
The two went out like a light last night, but I stayed up for a bit after getting a bit of rest in, and I was able to reach out to Professor Oak again. He express-delivered the starter Pokemon from Paldea to me, as well as delivering new Pokdexs for us to use. The handheld ones were nice, but with more and more people using the smartphone-style Pokedex, he was able to overnight ship three of them to us. On top of that, he transferred over three additional Pokeballs. Each one contained a Rotom.
Rotom's existence as a Pokemon is very much a mystery to a lot, but how Rotom affects compliances can be even weirder. Still, people seemed to have quickly adapted to the Rotom-dexs and now it was our turn. And with Rotom being used, it should greatly improve a Pokedex's external functionalities as well. It should even allow us to start taking pictures and such. I can't wait to see the two expressions. Receiving a smartphone-like device for the first time is quite a big deal for anyone. To say the least, it definitely adds a lot of options.
As for Hoenn, it seemed they were going to be launching a new satellite into space near the space station. There were news panels covering what it looked like and such. Not much was happening in Sinnoh, other than how the newscaster was looking forward to another reigning year of its Champion, Cynthia. In Unova, a news reporter was flaunting about how Lysander was bringing changes to the people of Unova. Out of all the villains, he was one of the craziest ones, I'd say. Thankfully it looks like things haven't escalated in Unova yet. It was our first time seeing his flamboyant fiery hair on video though.
And I could say the same for Kalos. Team Plasma has been pretty quiet. I don't think they have even made a public appearance yet. Ghetsis is likely with N still in the shadows. I do wonder if we'll come across N at some point though. He was quite the character in the sixth generation. Pretty dark too.
Not much was happening in Alola, aside from Lusamine appearing on screen talking about the Aether Foundation for a bit. It seems Lillie was already used to her mother being publicized, she didn't even bat an eye after seeing Lusamine on tv. And as for the Galar region, they were talking about Leon's winning streak and had interest to see if he would retain his title as undefeated yet again for another year.
I do know that the Pokemon Championships happen every few years or so to determine the best champion out of the champions in each region, so that'll be a fun sight to come across. I think the next one is in two or three years? It would definitely be exciting to see if Cynthia could go up against Leon, for being two undefeated Champions in two different regions.
And Ash would partake in the next one, acting as Alola's first champion too...
But I guess we'll come across that boat when we get there. If I happen to come out as Kanto's champion, there may be a spot for me to partake in that tournament too.
I guess for now at least, nothing too impactful was currently on the news that we couldn't handle.
"It looks like there isn't too much happening right now in the world, so that's good to see.", Serena said. "And that means we can enjoy today to our fullest.", Serena happily said, causing Lillie and I to nod our heads at her. Yet before we could do anything, Serena stood up from her chair, only to proceed to walk over to mine, which caused me to blink at me cause I could see her ass in full view like this.
"And that means I can do this.", Serena continued to say with a grin, only to plop her butt down right inside the gap between my legs. She proceeded to sit down on my chair. She was about a foot smaller than me, so having Serena suddenly sit in my chair, I had an easy view of her body like this, as well as her breasts that were protruding out of her night shirt. Seeing Serena do this, I couldn't help but chuckle as I felt the warmth of her butt going through my boxers.
"Heh, if you suddenly do that Serena, how can I reach out to give you two a couple gifts I have?", I suddenly asked, which caused the two to blink for a moment.
"A gift? What could it be this time?", Serena asked with interest as she blinked her eyes, looking right up to me.
"I don't know either. This is a bit unexpected.", Lillie also said, unsure.
"Well, thanks to a certain someone, I now can't move. Be a dear and reach into my bag, will you Serena? You two should see three devices in there, as well as three Pokeballs. Courtesy of Professor Oak.", I started to explain. Seeing me say that, Serena reached out, only to grab the bag that I travelled with. I am not sure if she was doing this on purpose, but she held her butt out for a good moment, and wiggled it around as she reached her hands out to go inside my bag. As she wiggled, my member below started to react to it. Her teasing ended after though, as Serena blinked again the moment she took out three smartphone-like devices. Both her eyes and Lillie's eyes turned wide seeing these Pokedexs.
