Chapter 29 - Demon Search Arc!

Three people can be seen in the room seating in seiza.

"Sorry for intruding, I am Ace, by the way, If you still cannot tell in my uniform, I am a Demon Slayer," Ace said.

"I'm Yushiro, It's fine but how did you find us? Will you slay us too?" Yushiro responded with quite a hostile tone.

"Yushiro you should be respectful to the man who slays Kibutsuji, I'm Tamayo you can call me Tama," Tamayo said, even though she is hiding it, Ace can still see some sparks in her eyes.

"Tamayo-sama!???" Yushiro shouted with surprise on his face.

"No You gave me too much credit, I almost lost if he didn't hold back and gave me enough time to finish my prayer," Ace said honestly as he ignored Yushiro's reaction.

"Yet you still defeated him, Ace-sama," Tamayo said with an unusual smile.

"Ace-sama!??? Tamayo-sama what is happening to you!" Yushiro while shouting.

"Yushiro, behave yourself," Tamayo calmly said.

'But but!!!' Yushiro thought but still sat down and behave himself but he still glaring daggers at Ace.

"Now then, Ace-sama I believe you have your reason for coming here?" Tamayo asked.

"I know that both of you are demons but I don't feel any bloodlust coming from you," Ace said.

He cannot say that he knows them from the anime.

"That is because we altered our body to live with minimal consumption of blood, Of course, we do not force people for that, we usually buy them under the guise of transfusion," Tamayo explains while Yushiro's looking at her like she was a goddess.

"I will cut to chase, Do two of you, still want to become a human?" Ace questioned.

Tamayo's hand trembles in anticipation, "Yes!" She answered instantly without any hint of hesitation.

On other side Yushiro seems to thinking if he still wanted to become one.

"What about you kid?" Ace questioned.

"Don't call me a kid! I am older than you!" Yushiro shouted.

"Hmm? Tamayo-san wanted to become human, if you stayed a demon then you will outlive her do you want that?" Ace said with a gentle smile.

"Please turn me back into human, kind sir!" Yushiro comically stands and bows to Ace.

This action made Tamayo chuckled.

"There is one condition though," Ace said.

"Anything!" Tamayo said then added, "E-e-even my bod..."

"Tamayo-sama!" Yushiro said then turned to Ace, "What do you want bastard! You dare to tarnish Tamayo-sama," Yushiro shouted.

"Not at all kid, I just want you and Tamayo to continue helping people," Ace said.

"That's sad, then," Tamayo said with a quiet voice.

Yushiro's ears perk because he still heard her, "Tamayo-sama! seriously what is happening to you..."

The treatment started.

Ace commenced the turning by chanting his prayers first after he cast his healing. This is only the second time he tried to turn a demon into a human.

The process is similar to before, the energies first burn the demon's cell before healing them back into human. It is very fast and not time-consuming at all.

Tamayo as a doctor did a primary check-up on their body, "I don't feel different, but hunger for blood is gone, is the treatment successful?"

"Yes, I think the only reason that you don't feel a thing is because your strength as demons remains, although you cannot use demon blood arts any longer, Let's go outside to test then," Ace said. He stands up then gestures to follow him.

Tamayo and Yushiro are still nervous about this whole thing but decided to trust Ace.

When they left the house they saw that the concealment that Yushiro have done is now gone.

So their house is now visible to tall the people who pass by.

"It works Ace-sama, It really works," Tamayo throws herself to Ace which he welcomes with open arms, who don't want to be hug by a beautiful kind girl.

Yushiro releases his aura, "Hehehehe, Tamayo-sama is getting stolen from me, Hello darkness my old friend."

Ace gave Yushiro and smug smile, which greatly infuriated him.

"You bastard! Get away from Tamayo-sama!!!!"

Ace said goodbye and promise to visit from time to time. He tried to find his black haori before the scheduled meet-up but failed to do so.

*Thug*

Someone hit the back of his feet. Ace turned around and saw a small girl carrying a bunch of different colored flowers.

"Umm, onii-san can you please buy some flowers?" The girl cutely said.

Ace looked around to find her guardian, there he saw a woman waving sitting on the bench.

Confirming that she has a guardian meaning that she is not a slave or something like that.

"Oh, are you selling? What a helpful little girl," Ace said as he pats the girl's head.

"Un! Mama said that I should learn to sell for our business!" The little girl said.

'A family of merchant then, she is training her child early,' Ace thought then said, "I will take this white, purple, and pink one."

Ace received the flowers and gave the girl money, "You will be a successful businesswoman someday right?"

"Un! Mama also said that she will buy me candies if I manage to sell five flowers!" The girl said while looking at Ace with anticipation.

'Scary...So little but she already knows how to use her cuteness,' Ace thought.

Ace ended up not buying more. why? because he is not a pushover!

"Shinobu-san, Mukago, sorry I'm quite late, I give you these so forgive me," Ace said as he gives Shinobu the purple flower and the pink one to Mukago.

Mukago deeply blushed while receiving the flower while murmuring something that Ace can't hear.

"Ara ara, You are quite a playboy aren't you Mas~ter~," Shinobu said while she is smelling the flower.

"Ace-sama! can we go home first?" Mukago questioned.

Ace can see her slightly panicking, so he asked, "Why?"

"Umm, the flower is dying every second without soil, umm, t-that is why," Mukago said while fidgeting.

"Oh, I got a solution for that!" Shinobu said as she called her crow and let it take away the flowers.

"I often collect flowers, insects, and herbs for medical purposes so my crow is trained to handle it with care, The people in the mansion will plant it for us," Shinobu explains.

Mukago hugged Shinobu and shyly thanked her.

'They already so close to each other, what a scary lady,' Ace thought while looking at Shinobu patting Mukago.

"By the way who is the next victim?" Shinobu said while pointing at the remaining flower on Ace's hand.

"This is for my little sister, she is very precious to me," Ace said as he covered the white flower also called daisy with his energy.

He first covered the daisy with his energy then created a hard construct of a pot below it.

"This construct will last for 30 minutes," Ace said then add more energy, "Now it will last an hour, I plan to provide this construct with all of the energy I can provide without obstructing my battle power."

Ace plan to provide the construct with energy until it can last for 100 years.

'ahh I want to see the villagers again, I miss them, I wish that they are fine and living a happy life,' Ace thought.

"Hmm? So much importance, you making me quite jealous of her, I want to be your little sister too! Onii-chan," Shinobu jokingly said.

"Don't be jealous, I treasure you as a friend too," Ace said with a gentle smile.

"Then I take what I can!" Shinobu cutely smiles too.

The trio continued their travel searching for the remaining demons.
