Chapter 22

“You and Deke stop acting like you don’t care about each other and make up. Then the four of us will be a pack. Well five, after Rory finds his mate.”

“My mate?” Rory exclaimed at the same time Deke said, “A pack?” and Conall muttered, “Not sure that’s possible.”

“It is if you want it, Conall,” Molly replied with a sharp nod. She looked at each one of the males. “We’re almost a pack already. One without an Alpha, but where is it written that a pack has to have one.”

“Oh, I think we do,” Conall said with a slightly bemused smile. “Her name is Molly.”

“God help us all,” Rory muttered, ducking away when Molly took a swipe at him.

Deke laughed, and said, “How about we call out for pizza to give the little lady a break from cooking so she, and the rest of us, can relax and unwind.”

“What about Ulric?” Rory asked.

“Hell, he can have some R&R too, if he wants.”

“That is notwhat I meant.”

“I know,” Deke replied. “We come up with something, but not until tomorrow.”
