CHASED OUT.

"What do you think?" Felix shrugged carelessly with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't know why you are here, Felix, but I advise you to hurry up and get out," Olivia said as she patiently pointed at the door. Seeing this traitor, she felt disgusted. How could there be such a shameless person in this world!?

""Liv, you are so stupid. Of course, I came to my house to chase both mother and daughter out."" Felix sat on the sofa without batting an eyelid and smiled arrogantly. His devilish laughter filled the entire living room.

Olivia's eyes showed a shocked expression. She looked at her mother, who in turn looked at her daughter.

Since when did the McQueen family house become Felix's home? Olivia felt that Felix was mad!

"Felix, stop dreaming, if you have brains, then I advise you to leave quickly or else I'm calling the cops," Olivia frowned as her mind was in a mess. She pretended to be harsh with her words, as she had never thought the person whom she loved the most would become someone whom she now hated the most.

"Is that so?" The next second, there was a hint of amusement in his eyes, ""that old man still hasn't told you right. Last month, the company accepted a contract and, because they didn't have enough resources and working capital, they used this house as a guarantee. Now that something has happened in the company, I bought this house legitimately from the bank.""

"Pa", Olivia immediately slapped Felix, "I won't allow you to insult my father like that, Felix, I have really had enough of you, now get out." Olivia pulled Felix's clothes in an attempt to kick him out.

"Mr Charles, please you can come in," Felix smiled coldly and suddenly pushed Olivia hard to the ground.

Seeing her daughter helplessly pushed to the ground, Elizabeth rushed forward anxiously and asked worriedly, ""Liv, are you alright? Show mum where you're hurt!""

Olivia bit her bottom lips tightly and resisted the urge to cry. She slowly stood up with her mother and patted her clothes. "Mum, I'm fine." Olivia answered reassuringly.

"Mrs McQueen, Miss McQueen," the lawyer said, bowing slightly. ""I'm Fredrik Charles, Mr Scout's lawyer, and this is the contract for the house. Please move out immediately, and we won't make things difficult for you."" The lawyer was cold, as he formally stated.

His short words were undoubtedly a cold official edict. Elizabeth's hands were trembling as she received the contract. It was indeed her husband's signature that was signed on the papers she was holding. Her eyes turned red as she lowered her head in silence.

""Mum, it's okay. We'll be back soon. I promise", Olivia said with certainty, "the bad guys won't have a good ending." Olivia turned her head and glared at Felix. She pulled her mother and wanted to leave.

"Stop, Olivia", Felix suddenly stated, his magnetic voice was cold and charming. "I really don't like the look in your eyes now, and again you can never threaten me."

Olivia walked past him without even sparing him a glance. She walked towards her room to pack her luggage and move out of the house. Seeing that she ignored him, Felix was suddenly anxious. He stepped forward and grabbed her wrist tightly.

"Bastard, let go of me," Olivia pushed Felix away with all her might. Her expression was that of disgust and hate, and there was a hint of wariness in her eyes.

After hesitating for a while, Felix said, ""Liv, I actually really like you a lot and my feelings are still the same. You can also stay if you want, resign from the hospital, and concentrate on serving me at home. As my woman, I can guarantee you will live a very comfortable life for the rest of your life.""

"You scoundrel! Felix, let me tell you, even if I, Olivia, were to sleep on the street, I would never be your woman.

Just yesterday, he had been in bed with Sarah, and now he was telling her he liked her and his feeling for her had never changed. Did he really think she was a fool?!

"It's the truth Olivia, I really like you more than Sarah, I found you courageous and more outstanding than Sarah." Felix had a lewd smile on his face, but what he said just now was the truth. Sarah was just a chess piece in getting the McQueen family industry for him, and the only person he truly ever loved was Olivia. However, his taste for revenge was strong.

He couldn't love Olivia, he would remind himself every day. Fifteen years ago, the McQueen family bought his family company and his parents had committed suicide overnight. Felix had been soaked in hatred since he was young as he thought that if McQueen had not bought his family company, his parents would still be alive. He made it his life goal to get his revenge. So he approached Olivia to make her fall for him.

Now that he had achieved his aim, Felix found himself unhappy and unwilling to part with her. Seeing Olivia's hateful expression, he actually felt very uncomfortable.

"Felix, I don't want to say anything to you right now, so stop behaving pathetic." Olivia finished speaking and shut the door of her room with a loud bang and locked it from the inside.

After packing her luggage, Olivia and Elizabeth dragged out four pieces of their luggage and left.

Olivia couldn't take away some of her family valuables because the lawyer had stated that they were included in the collateral. Olivia felt very angry. All these years, she had been in love with the wrong person.

After leaving the house, Olivia realized that she was in a tight situation. She didn't have any friends in New York, and didn't want to tell her colleagues in the hospital. Also, the apartment that her father had bought for her had not been renovated and couldn't be lived in yet, so the mother and daughter found an old apartment to stay there temporarily.

 Alliance hospital.

Olivia was standing in front of her changing room and was about to change out of her surgical gown when the head nurse Stella Quentin, walked in and greeted her cordially.

""Liv, congratulations. This operation was successful again,"" Stella said with a smile. She was in her early forties and was the head nurse of Alliance hospital's cardiac department. As her assistant, she often does large-scale cardiac surgery with Olivia.

""Nurse Stella, you are too kind with your words. It is all thanks to you guys that the operation was successful."" Olivia stretched and twisted her neck. She was exhausted, the operation had taken almost eight hours and she hadn't even eaten lunch. She was so hungry and her neck was stiff that she couldn't even raise her head.

""I often say you have miracle hands, but you don't believe me, you're really a talent for our alliance hospital. You've only been here for two months and your clinical experience is almost at the level of that old Chen. The director also planned to raise your salary next month."" Stella had an expression of admiration as she kept praising her.

Olivia smiled faintly. The old Chen that Stella spoke of was the head of their cardiology department, Chen Weng. He was a Chinese man and a very prestigious person in their cardiology department. But Olivia's existence seems to be a threat to Chen Weng, as not long after she graduated from the UK and entered Alliance hospital, she seems to be doing a lot of difficult surgeries. Olivia was very aware that Chen Weng did not like her, but she didn't care as she had sworn an oath to always save lives and not to please people.

"Alright, if I get a raise, I'll definitely treat you to a nice meal." Ever since she started working in Alliance hospital, Stella had been helping her. So Olivia felt grateful to her. Although she wasn't lacking in talent, it wasn't easy to work in a hospital and sometimes, relationships were difficult to manage.

A smile appeared on Stella's eyes as she said with delight "I'll look forward to it then".

Olivia changed out of her surgical gown and said "Yes, it's a deal then."

After leaving the changing room, Olivia returned to the 25th floor of the inpatient department. It was past lunchtime, and Olivia walked into the corridor with a serious face. Whenever she was troubled, she liked to be alone and think it through in a quiet place.

The matter at home had taken a toll on her and her emotions were everywhere. She felt sad, angry, betrayed, worried and frustrated at the same time.

For the past twenty-two years she had been sheltered and protected by her parents, but yesterday her life had undergone a dramatic change. Felix's betrayal and the loss of her dignity were just too much for her to accept. At that moment, she felt weak and vulnerable. In just a single night, everything had changed, and her love had turned into hatred.

She leaned against the wall of the quiet corridor, lost in thought. However, the sound of a magnetic voice talking brought her back to reality.
