One by one, the chat was filled with names as people joined in. Manaka casually took glances at the screen as she went down the hallway alongside her brother. From their names alone, she could guess that they must be varied in character. Though it only made her more anxious, considering the fact that majority of them has a name that pertained to some sort of supernatural entity.

For instance, Manaka couldn't tell whether or not the first member was the god himself or just simply a homage. Either way, that alone could make this person unparalleled in the chat group. She knew that the Mahesvara has the ability to heal injuries and possesses the power to annihilate anything from existence, earning themselves the title of the God of Destruction.

Thankfully, the second member didn't seem as terrifying compared to the rest. Judging by the name, Manaka assumed that this person must be a girl as well. That would also probably explain the title, which could perhaps be alluding to her beauty. If that were the case, Manaka was looking forward to see her appearance.

Moving on, Manaka was unnerved when she looked at『 』. She didn't know why exactly, but she had the feeling that this person could be dangerous, which is ironic considering their name wasn't much to go by as it was just a "blank". Does that mean he has no identity? She couldn't tell for certain, but for what ever reason, her instincts were screaming at this mysterious individual. She decided that it might better to stay away from them in the future.

Anyway, if we're talking about who left the most impression, then it would definitely be the fourth member. Manaka found it intriguing to have a potential Demon Lord in their chat group, but what piqued her interest more was the part about the Part-timer. Did that mean he was a part-time demon lord or a demon lord that took a part-time job? There was just something about the contrast that made it funny. Though, she didn't have enough courage to ask.

Lastly, was the "Shiroyasha". If you took the individual character's meaning, then it would literally mean "White Demon". But weirdly enough, while that may seem intimidating at first glance, Manaka had a vague inclination that it sounded a bit comical. She just couldn't take this person seriously even though it was being rude to the person.

「Part-timer Demon Lord: Hello?」

「Part-timer Demon Lord: Actually... I'm kinda lost at what to say here, but for starters I am a Demon Lord from Ente Isla.」

「Teresa of the Faint Smile: A demon lord, you say... Hmm, that doesn't seem like you're pertaining to the Abyssal Ones.」

「Part-timer Demon Lord: Abyssal Ones? I don't recall any demon that goes by that title. By the way, everyone can call me Maou.」

「Teresa of the Faint Smile: Mmm. Ahh... Yeah. My name is Teresa. As you can see, the rest is my moniker.」

「Mahesvara: I see... It would seem as though our default names somehow corresponds to our actual identity.」

「Mahesvara: Pardon my interruption. My name is Tatsuya Shiba, a student from 1st Magic High School.」

「Shiroyasha: A magic high school!? Really? Like technical curse schools from Juj*tsu K*isen?」

「Mahesvara: I suppose that soldifies the point that we are connected across different realities, seeing each of us know concepts that are foreign to another.」

「Shiroyasha: You don't say... And here I thought I fell into a multi-level marketing scam. So this is a prank, right? And this is the part where a cameraman is going to jump on me and say I've been caught on TV? Haaa... you got me good.」

「Teresa of the Faint Smile: ...」

「Mahesvara: ...」

Manaka finally looked at what was happening after she has sat down in her room. From the looks of it, the conversation had already gone underway without her. Thankfully, their conversation allowed her to get up to speed. After a brief rundown, she found that her initial impression were more or less matching with the person. That said, she knew full well that their must be more to them than meets the eye.

Now that they have introduced themselves, Manaka was struggling to find the perfect chance to butt in. She really wanted to join in on the conversation, but at the same time she was afraid that she might come off as rude if she suddenly interrupted.

「Part-timer Demon Lord: Aren't there supposed to be two more members?」

「Mahesvara changed his name to 'Tatsuya Shiba'」

「Tatsuya Shiba: Yes. Looking at the member list, only one of them appears to be online.」

「Part-timer Demon Lord: Huh, is that so? Wait a second... how did you change your name?」

「Tatsuya Shiba: Do you spot a gear icon on the top right corner of your screen? It opens a drop down menu where you can find the option to change your name.」

「Part-timer Demon Lord has changed his name to 'Sadao Maou'」

「Teresa of the Faint Smile has changed her name to 'Teresa'」

「Sadao Maou: Thanks. I guess that leaves the last two members.」

「Tatsuya Shiba: I agree. One of them probably knows what is going on.」

「Teresa: In any case, since we went through all this trouble, I'm interested to see how powerful you all are.」

「Son Goku: Eh, so this is legit after all?」

「Tatsuya Shiba: For better or for worse, that would seem to be the case.」

Manaka's eyes gleamed towards the perfect opportunity that was presented to her. Taking the chance she got, Manaka fumbled on the screen as she tried her to best to make herself somewhat presentable in the group chat.

「Potnia Theron (Admin): Oh, uhh, nice to meet you all everyone! My name is Manaka Emiya, but everyone can call me Manaka! Please treat me well!」

「Teresa: Oh? We got a shy one in our midst. There's no need to stand in ceremony with us.」

Teresa was right, reading it again made her cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Perhaps she was trying a bit too hard.

「Sadao Maou: I agree, it's better for you to relax.」

「Tatsuya Shiba: "Potnia Theron"?」

「Potnia Theron: I-is there something wrong?」

「Tatsuya Shiba: No. Nothing. It just reminded of a deity from a mythology in the east.」

「Manaka Emiya: Sorry, I don't know anything about that.」

「Tatsuya Shiba: It's fine, Manaka. More importantly, can you tell us more about this 'Multiversal Chat Group'?」
