Since when did magic get so easy? [Rewriting in progress...]

Arrived in the library in the student council room, Sona had decided to tell Kiyotaka that it was a bad idea to learn all possible and existing magic and that he should focus on just one, unique to him.

She had offered him a plethora of magic books that humans use but that in the library, there were not all the magic books in her possession, being the humans who normally use them, for the devils, it is nothing more than trinkets.

Inside the library, Kiyokata was sitting at a table studying one by one the magic books Sona had given him. Next to him on the table, a few books were stacked on top of each other. Most of them were called 'Basic Use of Magic'.

Kiyotaka was very intrigued by the book he was holding in his hand since he had a fairly focused expression on his face looking at it.

On the cover of the book was written in small old-style italics: 'Use of teleportation magic'

The hours passed and finally, night came over the whole Kuoh Academy. Kiyotaka was still inside the library but now all the books were in their row. Kiyotaka stretched with full force, it had been so long since he had read.

'Good seeing what I got out of it' Kiyotaka thought as he focused on a small lamp that lit up a table.

Kiyotaka thought of nothing more, focusing his entire attention on the desk lamp, he remembered everything that had written there in the books, having a good memory it wasn't a big deal for Kiyotaka.

Then he breathed gently before raising his hand and pointing with his finger at the lamp from which a small red circle appeared out of nowhere, a small flame issued from his fingertips by the magic circle.

Kiyotaka gave a small sign with his fingers and the flame moved at breakneck speed, reaching in a few moments the lamp located a few meters from Kiyotaka.

The flame strongly impacted the lamp which emitted a small crackle before going out due to the heat caused by the small flame.

'Interesting, I didn't think I would get there after just a few tries.' Kiyotaka nodded satisfied with what he had managed to accomplish in just one day of magic practice.

'The only problem is that I do not yet fully master the magic system, I would need more books too and maybe an instructor ...' Kiyotaka noted in his head that he should ask Sona or Rias if they knew people strong in magic.

Looking outside Kiyotaka sighed, it was already dark, probably the gate was closed and he had been forgotten here ...

He shrugged his shoulders on the way out of the library he decided to go see Sona's office and what he saw surprised him.

Her door was open and Rias was inside chatting with the glasses girl who was still in her papers.

*knock Knock*

The two girls suddenly turned back to see Kiyotaka who looked a little tired.

Rias seeing him, smile before getting up and speaking: "You see I told you, magic is very hard!" A victorious smile gracing her face as if she had won everything.

Kiyotaka looked at her for a few seconds before shaking his head and saying, "Rias-senpai, don't you know a good practitioner of magic? And also some other books on the subject."

Rias didn't understand at first what he was talking about before connecting the dots. She opened her eyes wide before heading towards Kiyotaka with a serious look.

"Did you learn magic, Kiyotaka-Kun?" Rias asked, squarely taking the boy's shoulder shaking him all over the place.

"Not everything but I know the basics and I can even use a few spells" Kiyotaka raised his hand from which a magic circle formed, then focusing on something specific, a small ball of electricity formed in his hand.

"What! how !?" Even Sona who was watching the scene just to distract herself from the paperwork lost her glasses from the shock and Rias nearly fell to the ground.

Both thoughts 'Since when did magic... get so easy?' if she only knew what Kiyotaka had accomplished in one day, they would probably have an immediate heart attack ...

"Kiyotaka-Kun are you sure you don't want to join my peerage?" Rias recovered quickly from her fall now she pressed her chest lightly on Kiyotaka's arm.

"I told you before, I need to get stronger ..." Kiyotaka gave a small smile at the redhead's ploy in front of him.

"Okay, me, Issei, Akeno, Koneko, and Yuuto are going to fight a wandering devil tonight why don't you come then?" Rias proposed, she really wanted to see the abilities that Kiyotaka could have in combat.

Kiyotaka nodded before thinking 'I need to see what I'm capable of in combat, I'd say I can master human magic at a Medium-High level from what I've seen from the books.'

Then the two left completely forgetting Sona who was lost looking for her glasses in the office.

hey, here is the chapter, thanks for the comments you leave, they help me a lot

Don't worry Kiyotaka isn't going to go op, just that he's going to get strong soon enough.

The story is a bit slow at the moment, in the next chapter it should be much more dynamic ;)

See ya, love ya <3
