To fall in love

[3rd POV]

As Saki felt the warmth and safety of his embrace, she did not know whether to laugh or cry.

She simply hugged him back and grasped the strange feelings in her heart. It was foreign, sure, but it was pleasant.

It made her feel better about herself.

She would be the first to admit it, things did not go as she planned nor how she expected. Who would've known that things would develop like this?

She was sure that Yuito was after her body, or at least was after sex according to her deduction.

She did now know how he would find her attractive, he had all the girls in the world after all and both of his public girlfriends were beauties she couldn't hope to compare.

But, she just thought maybe Yuito had a weird taste. She was young after all and maybe he was into that. Pedophilia? She likes him too much to care.

A young and nerdy girl who wouldn't be able to fight back if he did everything to her, even if he satisfied every messed-up fetish on her body. It sounds plausible.

Right, her head was not in the right place back then. Her otaku mind was not really lacking in imagination in those degenerate departments.

She was prepared though, at least she could say that. Even if nothing else, she was willing to give in to any messed up or embarrassing thing he wanted.

She loves him, at least that's what she thought.

But she was left to question her own feelings back then, because as Yuito pulled her to his firm chest, she felt like she loved him more than ever before.

'Is it possible to fall in love twice?' She asked herself. Or was her initial feeling for him, not love and she fell for him just now?

It was confusing. She was not an expert in the matters of the heart. 

But at least, this time, she knew he had just become the single most important person in her life. Her anchor to life, the one that just surpassed animes and manga in her life.

How could he have not stolen her heart? He was so kind and nice to her all this time and when she laid herself bare and became vulnerable, he was kind to her.

He careed. And that might not be remarkable to most people and some might even feel entitled that other should care about them, but not for her.

For Saki, the fact that he cared might be the nicest thing anyone had done.

She tried to give him her love in return for the happiness he gave her, but he said 'Double it and give it back.'

Now she had fallen even deeper.

Yuito separated from the hug after two full minutes and he dressed her up again. That was followed by an hour or so speech about how she should never do that again and how she should know her self-worth.

It was a little embarrassing but she loved hearing him lecture her. No one had told her these things before.

Yuito was kind. He was not like other celebrities who looked down on people like her and thought they were worth more than anyone else.

Instead, he taught her the opposite. To know her self-worth and to never settle for something less than what she deserves.

Love yourself, he said.

'But I love you more.'

They did not even have a chance to go to the amusement park as they spent the rest of their time, talking. He did the talking and she listened.

"You should never allow yourself to be a victim. Never put others above yourself, at least if the other person is not willing to do the same for you." Yuito was oddly passionate as he said those.

Now, calling her a victim in this case might be a bit too much.

Sure she was not exactly sure about what she had done earlier but she could hardly be called a victim in that situation. 

First, she gave consent and second, what girl in their right mind would complain about Yuito fucking Fujta having their way with them?

It could be said that many girls would give everything to be in that situation.

But she listened to his words anyway. She never got bored because she could look and listen to his voice forever.

Her eyes never left him, almost as if her eyes had forgotten that they could see other things and there was beauty in the world. 

Her ears need no music as his voice, laced with concern for her was the greatest melody they could hear.

After an hour or so, Yuito was done and they left the Karaoke.

It was already dark outside and Yuito walked her home. She did not say much, she wanted to, but she was afraid she might say the wrong things in her lovestruck moment.

She loves him.

But she knew he would never love her back. 

And the fact that he was already in a relationship was the least of her worries.

They were two people living in different worlds. He was a world-famous star and she was Saki, a nerdy girl from a poor family. With a step-father who considers her a burden and a mother who betrayed her for a man.

How could he ever love her back? She had nothing to give him, especially after he denied the only thing she could give him.

"Thank you for today." She bowed her head as they had already reached her house.

It was time to leave.

"Don't worry about it. Sleep well and make sure to stay safe. Especially against other boys who would definitely try to hit on you after today."

She smiled. "Okay."

But hey, even if he didn't love her back, it doesn't stop her from loving him right? 

She'll be his biggest fan and hope at least her feelings will reach him. 

Until then, she would work on herself.

The night was dark yet under the silver moonlight, her smile was like the sun, stealing the glory away from the moon.

Her beauty, innocent and untouched became the center of the world as the stars above shine brighter to compete with her smile.

Yuito was left stunned.

It took him a bit too long to gather himself but he finally managed to say goodbye.

"Good nigh Saki."

Saki was obsessed.

"Good night, Senpai."

She fell in a love that she can't afford.
